Kamal actually played this short role first in Punnagai Mannan, Balachander movie but only few would have noticed it. This concept of Tall and short charecters as brothers was stollen from a Arnold Schwarzenegger movie named 'Twins'. Our guys are smart enough to wrap the similar candy in a different wrapper and sell it in a new name with changes , and call it their own invention in the 2nd & 3rd world
Well this kind of ill-informed, illogical & hateful comments on any & all achievements of Kamal Hassan Sir is not uncommon..
The English movie Twins released on 9th Dec 1988 & Aboorva Sagotharargal released on 14th April 1989.
The Shooting of Aboorva Sagotharargal commenced in Kerala in first quarter of 1988 & was halted after 10 days, as screenplay was not working.
The shooting again begun after 1 month or so & unlike today there was no internet back then for Kamal Hassan to get an update from Hollywood that Arnold is making a movie called Twins..
Also as already mentioned the idea of Playing a Dwarf Character was suggested by Kamal Hassan to Blackadder in 1985 when Punnagai Mannan shooting was going on & as balanchander refused to shoot whole movie with Dwarf character, hence Kamal played the role in only one scene.
So unless Kamal Hassan is a Time Traveler, he couldn't have known in 1985 that a movie called twins is going to be made in 1988.
Also in Twins, the actor playing the role of a midget was really of that height in real life..
Spare all of us the horror of seeing you embarrass yourself with such ill-informed comments.
We should be proud that an artist from India has done something that no one has & we should honor his achievements rather than spit venom like this..
