i feel like Meinl is pushing these smack stacks. not really interested. i wasn't interested in the Istanbul version either. definitely not enough to dedicate a microphone to it. it doesn't seem to cut through otherwise. having bashed Meinl (sorry you're still my favorite cymbal company these days). i love Miguel's playing. love the chops and the feel.
