I really feel their bass players spirit in this performance. He feels his instrument. Very human. Edit: Been listening to this band for a month. Would love to chat about hardcore with these dudes. It's real with them.
Seems like Ned was struggling a bit with his vocals this night … they played a crazy amount of shows back then - he def was feeling it this night. Still a sick show none the less
Hi, I have a doubt guys, who those that like this band because they were a hardcore band, what do you think about the album "Hypervie", which is more like shoegaze? Personally, and don't hate me guys, I don't like hardcore and i actually know them from their latest album which I absolutely love.
I’ve been into Title Fight since 2010. The Last Thing You Forget and Shed were right in the sweet spot between hardcore, pop punk, and emo, and I loved it. Then Floral Green came out, and it was different but I loved it too. Then Hyperview came out, and it was just too different for me, and I wasn’t into it at all, other than Murder Your Memory and Rose of Sharon. But a couple months ago my friend sold me his entire record collection, which included Hyperview, so I gave it another shot. I know this is corny, but the album really does hit different on vinyl, and I have a new found appreciation for the album.
I love The Last Thing You Forget, but I dont blame them if they dont want to play anything from it. They've probably played symmetry literally almost a thousand times and are probably absolutely sick of it haha
If you keep track of their performances over the last few years, you’ll notice that Ned has been adding much more flare and fills to his bass playing, and it’s a joy to hear. You can certainly hear the Smiths influence that went into Floral Green.
Respectfully, stfu. I lived close enough to the band to know their layers, stuff that only gets passed around if you were actually there. “While the kids back home will leap To the riverbeds below Market Street” You wouldn’t get what these lines mean unless you’ve breathed the air in Kingston or Wilkes-Barre. Hell, even the Lefty track is a nod to someone, masterfully written by Shane, to someone specific, with layers of wordplay and homage. It reaches back to his midnight missions in the legendary train yard, throwing a nod to Long Island’s Blood Red Tommy Corrigan and weaving in Bad Seed references subtle enough to slip right past you and the rest here. You’re as normcore as they come, Rodriguez.
I would kill for just 1 more album. I love this band so much, sucks they’re not creating anymore
ned has a band with ben called glitterer
@@guilherme_610 I’ve heard it, just not the same but I’ll take what I can get

Mark Mcmorris is his also very highly talented doppelgänger
😜🖤❤️
They didn't play Symmetry?
No.
Ethan Hibionada - Man, that sucks. Still an amazing set. :3
William Escobar they didn't play anything from the last thing you forget in Toledo on this tour I'm pretty sure. Was so bummed

Jamie needs to be turned up 😞
What does the velvet underground have to do with title fight??
It’s the name of the venue they played at.
The transitions are so seemless
Which cam did you use?
Canon SL1.
Bass fill at 4.48 though...

Great performance from them, what a lame crowd. Seems like they weren't allowed to have fun.
There was a barricade but it was definitely a good crowd.
Be dope if this sounded like the record
Too much normcore
Rodrigo Díaz shut the fuck up

Ben has an awful habit of dropping the tempo on this live.
