The problem a lot of people defending Quantum TV seem to miss is the fact that he started trash talking the Elder Ring community as a whole. If he had only complained about the game, people would have probably only told him to git gud, and that would have been the end of it, but he took out his frustration on the community whom the game is aimed at, which is the same as if I were to trash talk professional soccer players because I can't play as good as them, or talk crap about brain surgeons because I can't do what they do.

I'm one of those people that was in the TV setting community after I bought a new TV and wanted to learn about its features. QuantumTV seriously stood out like a sore thumb as an idiot who loved oversaturated colors and called them "objectively" better while at the same time trashing other channels for being paid LG shills or some shit. He clearly had no idea how to adjust a TV properly and I don't even think he had proper camera equipment, it looks like he was recording with a cell phone in his living room with the shades drawn. Several years ago a good friend of mine who makes his own music had almost every video on his channel taken down after someone false flagged them all for copyright, it really killed his momentum and he almost quit altogether from that. Sad that all these years later its still just as easy to punish original creators for the wrong reasons. TH-cam really needs to sort its shit out.

I only knew about Quantum TV because I was researching possible tv replacements in case the panel on my TCL failed. I didn't replace it, but his review stuck out to me, because it advertised his channel. So I took a look, he has horrible takes. If you don't have an OLED, you have a garbage tv; that's the type of guy he is. He shouldn't be taken seriously.

Highly likely that if a TH-cam agent actually told him to file a copyright dispute, it was because he told them that someone re-uploaded his deleted content without any context. He probably didn't tell them that it was a reaction/critique of his video and not just a direct re-upload. At which point, if and only if it actually happened, I would get why he would be asked to copyright claim that video.
If im right because I made a similar inquiry before their auto FAQ response says "if you believe this is in violation of your copyright you can chose to take action if you chose to" something like that they really don't say ohh go do it if it was a quick interaction, I highly doubt he got live service till later

QuantumTV is that person’s 3rd channel; the 1st was one named after his legal name, the 2nd was Quantum Apotheosis, which was taken down and banned. In fact, he is actually evading a ban, and that is one of the things that Act Man will highlight to powers that be to bring this person down, hopefully for good.
You'll probably see this quite a few times, but it's important to understand that "fair use" is not a right(or law), but an affirmative defense. This means that it means exactly nothing until you fight it out in a court of law. By precedent, the claimant has a legal obligation to consider "fair use", but this also means nothing until someone sues... This all blows, but such is life...
Pretty sure TH-cam’s user agreement makes it so that it’s not quite the same as normal like a lot of platforms- you post it on TH-cam and it’s theirs. And they consider using TH-cam clips within their guidelines as fair use so long as you don’t begin to edge into plagiarism. Then that’s another case.
I love the soulsborne series but I see absolutely no reason not to have an easy mode in video games, simply because I'll never lay on easy mode anyway, so who cares? EXCEPT with FromSoft games. They have repeatedly stated they don't feel an easy mode would do anything other than take away from. Their original vision. If they don't want an easy mode, that's their right as the creators of the series.
Obviously he's removed his previous video about Elden Ring (which appears the reason he's copyright striking others over it; he removed it and doesn't want it seen anymore), but I see he put a new video up on the subject a few weeks ago complaining about all the negative attention. He comes off as a total jerk and none of the things he tries to justify about the way he's acting are effective. Ironically, Quantum has numerous videos on his channel where he offers critique of other TechTuber content, especially display reviews, which involves him speaking at length over video of their content. Because of course he does! And calibrating your display is only really necessary when purchasing cheap panels or when using the display for professional work.

If you play on PC and just want an easier From Software game, there is literally an Easy Mode Mod for every single one of them on the Nexus. The community will handle it as it always has, that's the benefit of an open platform and mods.
completely agree on the elden ring thing (and pretty much everything else too, of course, but that probably doesn't even need to be mentioned). I personally don't like those dark souls like type of games. But that, of course, doesn't mean they're bad. It only means that I should not buy them. But this is not even really the issue, I think. I think what is the real problem is that such people, who buy Elden Ring and then complain about it, don't even really care about the game. They bought it because it's currently trending, the new cool thing that everyone's gotta have, and now they're angry that they "had" to buy and enjoy the game but they can't. That makes them feel disappointed while at the same time giving them the feeling that it's not really their fault and instead there is some outside factor to blame for this. With such a mindset it is easy to blame the game for their own bad purchase decision. I think it's a maturity issue, maybe they're still stuck in that juvenile phase where your taste is mostly defined by what most other kids at school like. Maturity and age are not always the same thing.

I really enjoy and appreciate full walk-throughs of video games which have first person storylines. It’s because I’m one of those people who used to buy the books with video games that used to have the step-by-step guide on how to solve things so that it when you got stuck you would know how to do it plus it would help me enjoy the game before I bought it. The problem a lot of people defending Quantum TV seem to miss is the fact that he started trash talking the Elder Ring community as a whole. If he had only complained about the game, people would have probably only told him to git gud, and that would have been the end of it, but he took out his frustration on the community whom the game is aimed at, which is the same as if I were to trash talk professional soccer players because I can't play as good as them, or talk crap about brain surgeons because I can't do what they do.

QuantumTV seriously stood out like a sore thumb as an idiot who loved oversaturated colors and called them "objectively" better while at the same time trashing other channels for being paid LG shills or some shit. He clearly had no idea how to adjust a TV properly and I don't even think he had proper camera equipment, it looks like he was recording with a cell phone in his living room with the shades drawn. The guy sucked way before Elden Ring.

@@Asriel_Cypher There are plenty of graphically aspects of Elden Ring that are far from industry leading, but they are certainly not 'bad' or 'dogshit' I believe is the word QTV used, but also not so bad to the point that it is worth mentioning as a criticism. He went the easy route because he clearly didn't engage with the game long enough to discover any actual flaws that most of the Elden Ring community have pointed out (PvP/Boss balancing, some areas being kinda meh etc).

I feel like every time a FromSoftware game releases, there's always a discussion about difficulty in video games that, if you ask me, you just should not play if it's too hard. Highly likely that if a TH-cam agent actually told him to file a copyright dispute, it was because he told them that someone re-uploaded his deleted content without any context. He probably didn't tell them that it was a reaction/critique of his video and not just a direct re-upload. At which point, if and only if it actually happened, I would get why he would be asked to copyright claim that video.
If im right because I made a similar inquiry before their auto FAQ response says "if you believe this is in violation of your copyright you can chose to take action if you chose to" something like that they really don't say ohh go do it if it was a quick interaction, I highly doubt he got live service till later

People like Muta and Charlie are the real heroes that TH-cam doesn’t deserve, but the whole internet community needs. Even though they may make mistakes of giving unintentional misinformations once awhile, they do their best alerting general users about serious issues (like copyright system abuse, drama, violation, and more) with tons of non biased researches/evidences and discussing how the situation could be resolved. They also sincerely apologize to the audience if there has been some errors made on info presentation.

QuantumTV is that person’s 3rd channel; the 1st was one named after his legal name, the 2nd was Quantum Apotheosis, which was taken down and banned. In fact, he is actually evading a ban, and that is one of the things that Act Man will highlight to powers that be to bring this person down, hopefully for good.

Pretty sure TH-cam’s user agreement makes it so that it’s not quite the same as normal like a lot of platforms- you post it on TH-cam and it’s theirs. And they consider using TH-cam clips within their guidelines as fair use so long as you don’t begin to edge into plagiarism. Then that’s another case.

I love the soulsborne series but I see absolutely no reason not to have an easy mode in video games, simply because I'll never lay on easy mode anyway, so who cares?
EXCEPT with FromSoft games. They have repeatedly stated they don't feel an easy mode would do anything other than take away from. Their original vision. If they don't want an easy mode, that's their right as the creators of the series.

Obviously he's removed his previous video about Elden Ring (which appears the reason he's copyright striking others over it; he removed it and doesn't want it seen anymore), but I see he put a new video up on the subject a few weeks ago complaining about all the negative attention. He comes off as a total jerk and none of the things he tries to justify about the way he's acting are effective. He really should just let it go, because seems all his attempts to sweep things under the rug or defend himself, he's just making things worse.

Ironically, Quantum has numerous videos on his channel where he offers critique of other TechTuber content, especially display reviews, which involves him speaking at length over video of their content.

If you play on PC and just want an easier From Software game, there is literally an Easy Mode Mod for every single one of them on the Nexus. The community will handle it as it always has, that's the benefit of an open platform and mods.
completely agree on the elden ring thing (and pretty much everything else too, of course, but that probably doesn't even need to be mentioned).
I personally don't like those dark souls like type of games. But that, of course, doesn't mean they're bad. It only means that I should not buy them. But this is not even really the issue, I think. I think what is the real problem is that such people, who buy Elden Ring and then complain about it, don't even really care about the game. They bought it because it's currently trending, the new cool thing that everyone's gotta have, and now they're angry that they "had" to buy and enjoy the game but they can't. That makes them feel disappointed while at the same time giving them the feeling that it's not really their fault and instead there is some outside factor to blame for this. With such a mindset it is easy to blame the game for their own bad purchase decision. I think it's a maturity issue, maybe they're still stuck in that juvenile phase where your taste is mostly defined by what most other kids at school like. Maturity and age are not always the same thing.
I think it's Important to bring up, that while he Struct Act Man unfairly, he did so to other people prior. When Act Man initially transitioned to the Clip, he mentioned he was a Notorious Copyright Abuser. It sucks for anyone though, so it's good you're giving him what for, and that this is trending as much as it is

Here instead of copyright claiming the whole video, someone got copyright claims over 0 seconds of his videos, and the copyrighted samples are... well... 0 seconds too... I am not sure how frequent those cases are, but just for that one case (hopefully it was not made up), I wonder how it even ended up past unit tests...

I really enjoy and appreciate full walk-throughs of video games which have first person storylines. It’s because I’m one of those people who used to buy the books with video games that used to have the step-by-step guide on how to solve things so that it when you got stuck you would know how to do it plus it would help me enjoy the game before I bought it. Most the time I bought the game. But now with all this fair use strike down controversy shit you can’t get any good gameplay footage.
