The window for MacDavid to win the cup is actually smaller than it appears. They have a cup contender right now and for many previous years. Their window is cracked open, swiftly closing. Oilers will be vastly different next season.

If mcdavid wins the cup, all comparisons are gone imo. One of the greatest players to play the game wins it, ends the oilers cup drought and also brings the cup back to Canada after 31 years. That's something oiler fans will be telling they're grandkids lmao. Its to good of a storyline.

Very interested in Cole Beaudoin. Watched this past years highlights. I appreciate the size, but it's not the forward group that needs to be bigger and meaner, it's the Defensive core. And (jokingly) MacFarland probably won't draft him bc he has his tiny man plan that he thinks is going to win it all.
PS. you don't put "skating" high up there? Hell, every Avs fan tells me that's why Sam Girard is good because he skates [jerk off motion]. So he does what every hockey player does, GREAT [eye roll].

I don't put skating high unless it's a guy who excels in that area. To me it's the upper tier skaters and then everyone else. It's only truly meaningful to me when it's noticeable and used to their advantage. I don't see "poor" skaters. Especially if you are considered a first round pick.
