i just changed mine the other day. Really only takes like 10 mins or less the hardest part was taking off that damn clip but i just pushed the clip up with my flat head screwdriver up towards the windshield and then once i got the slid that little white clip i still had some trouble so i carefully pry the clip from the part with the flat head and it came off without damaging anything. i suggest practicing on the exhaust one first before trying to take the intake solenoid off first.

@almasanchez1527 I'm sorry for such a horribly late response. I sold that car about 3 years ago now, and I wouldn't have the slightest idea. I really am sorry.

I have a 2014 Chevy Malibu with a 2.5L. My check engine light is on and the only problem I have is when I try to pass another vehicle by pressing the accelerator really hard my car will rev up immediately like it is going to take off but will not go any faster. The motor will continue to rev wide open but the car will just coast. Can anyone tell me which one of these Rocker Arm Solenoid valve parts I need to replace? There are 3 of the all around the top of the motor. If someone could help me out with the correct answer I would be thankful!! Thank you friends..

Probably should replace both of them and get oil changed

@@Ronlovesart Man I sure appreciate your response. I just talked with another guy who seemed to know a lot about motors. I am going back to his sight, copying what I said to him and pasting it here for you to see. Please be sure and read. I am very serious and also honest. Thanks Buddy.

Sir I was unable to copy what I sent him. Don’t know why. I’ll try to be short and to the point. A guy built a Hookah Diving Unit on a TH-cam video. It was probably worth $3000.oo and if you did what he did you could build it for 1/3 of that. I started asking him questions and he was kind enough to answer and literally walked me threw the build. After that on 3 or 4 different occasions I sent him some appreciation via PayPal on E-bay. He never asked for anything, I did it because he did me a big favor and it was very thoughtful of him. I sent him $100.oo twice and I think $50.oo twice if my memory serves me correctly. If I can find a good Machanic that I can always go to I would gladly do the same for him. If you are interested please let me know. I’ll give you my E-mail or whatever it takes to convince you. I know this must sound crazy but I am not a scammer and am honest. I look forward to hearing back from you. If you are not interested I completely understand and will look elsewhere. Again thank you for the advice you gave me!!.. GOD bless friend!!.. :)).....

I also meant to tell you that I was going to pull 2 of those 3 VVT Solenoids out today and attempt to clean them. Is that a bad idea? I’m not a Machanic but have no trouble with things like that. I use to do Auto Body Repair. Thanks and GOD bless!!.. :)).........

Who took the clip out for you? I can't take mine out either. I love how people skip or go really fast when they can't get something out.

I think I had to use a flathead screw driver. I remember it being a pain in the butt. I definitely could've done better filming this.

I used a pair of pair of needle nose pliers and that did the trick for me. just went into it easy. Thanks for the video as well original poster!
