@@Vvopat96 yeah pretty much. If it wasn’t for the fact I have a couple of life threatening illnesses I wouldn’t own a mobile. The bloody things are a nuisance.

I've always wondered just how many phones, how many wallets, how much money, and other valuables the employees find on the ground under roller coasters when the parks are closed for the day
They get retrieved if reported, just dont go and retrieve them yourself like some idiots do. There was a story not long ago where a girl went and grabbed her phone while the ride was operating, cant rem the outcome fully, but she did get struck and ended up in hospital, but it was bad from all reports.
It was in Australia. She survived, but has severe lifelong injuries

The ride that lifts up in the air and then has all the swings dropping, spinning around, and coming back up, is FAKE! That’s not what that ride does. The original video is literally the ride going up, pausing, and then dropping down like the Superman ride at Six Flags Over Texas. Also, it’s not that high!

I remember my older brother went to Six Flags when he was like 20 and went on the swings that go really high and he said that he was pretty scared. I’ve always been scared of those swings but when my older, adult brother told me he was scared of it then there was no way I was ever going to do that ride. It’s been about ten years since then and I’ve only gone back once since then and I have kept my word by never going in that ride 😂
Imagine screaming like those two girls at 5:58 even after the ride has stopped, and then acting like you aced a final boss afterwards when you realise 20 seconds late that you're no longer moving LOL

My grandfather was the director of an amusement park, and my entire childhood was spent on roller coasters.

I still remember when I was on the RoundUp ride... we had just eaten a bunch of food. I threw up and it sprayed everybody. I felt so awful and embarrassed.

That one's definitely CGI. Even if you could make cables stretchy and strong enough for that drop, the people riding would probably be dead from the G-forces.

Unbelievable how many idiots are using phones while riding a rollercoaster. This can seriously hurt people.
I’m not a rollercoaster person at all. One time when my family went to Six Flags my mom talked me into going on like the smallest rollercoaster there. I thought that it would be ok. Boy was I wrong. After about 5 seconds I was trying to not cry and started shrieking 😂

I always get laughs out of these crazy rides, but I also don't think the people at 13:12 understood the gravity of that situation. If she got caught in that machinery or the second boat had surged forward (as they often do at that part of those rides), she would have been crushed and likely killed.
People have drown from those type of rides
@@Calc_Ulator Yes, unfortunately they have, but comparing the number of people who have ridden vs the number of people who sadly have been injured or killed, it is extremely unlikely that an accident will happen to those who obey safety rules. Please note that I'm NOT saying that all injuries/deaths are the victims' fault because they aren't.
People died on one of these rides not that long ago…

@@Calc_Ulator for doing stupid ass things like that girl did. She should be permanently banned from that theme park (and potentially her friend group too) for what could have been a deadly incident that would've affected the ride operators and hosts.
People are fucking stupid, and it's because of people like this that health and safety goes completely crazy and we can't have nice things anymore.

The ship ride looks like so much fun so I usually want to go on it. But I always forget how high it really gets and by the end of the ride I’m usually desperately regretting my life choices and swearing I’ll never go on it again 😂

There was a ride at Bush Gardens in Tampa, Florida 'the swing ride'' it was basically the ride at the beginning of these clips, where it would swing people up and down and completely upside down. I was there with my family in the early 90s as a kid and the sun was setting, and I saw the ride in the distance as a shadow, and saw someone fall out and drop to to the ground. At that time there wasn't even a safety net around the ride, and I just saw this person sized shadow fall to the ground. I was like 9, and I wanted to tell my dad, but didn't know how to explain it. I never knew if that person survived.

I will admire wildlife through photos and videos of them in their natural habitat rather than in a questionable tunnel, behind a fence, or in a swimming pool. I also like my two feet touching the ground. My "excitment" will be my ability to trip over nothing. Keeps life interesting in a small and sometimes painful way. 3:14 Personal space is also a preferrence. Peeing my pants at the age of 30 would also be very embarrassing.

The few times I’ve been on a rollercoaster and I’ve had my phone I always would keep it in my pocket where it was zipped up or in a plastic bag in my pocket. But like I said I’ve only done that like twice. Usually I’d just leave it with my other family members who weren’t going on the ride

I'd love to know where that one at 11:35 - that suddenly extended it's height then dropped the strings of passengers and then spun them around is to be found!? Looks like fun!
