I don't understand, most of these demolitions were perfectly ok!
The amount of people who click when "bad" shows up in the title is several times more.
They might look OK t9 the average Joe, but from a demolition point of view most are embarrassing.

@@normandseguin6103 Even that is wrong. It is more than 5m in diameter. He likely meant 50m tall and its diameter is about 1/4 of that, or 12.5m.
I think the narrator is only about 15cm tall, so 5M it is
best muted. narrator is really annoying.

I would be content watching the videos without commentary. Even if some definitely didnt "went horribly wrong", but went exactly as planned.
But having someone spout increadibly misinformed nonsense over all the clips just to feel important is a bit too much..

Most of these did not go horribly wrong. Why not just be honest?

From a demolition point of view, it would be embarrassing. You obviously have never paid insurance when explosives etc are involved... Time to stop making comments before actually thinking...

Yes and a couple of feets..! 😂 Actually it was 50 meters high. It was in Vordingborg, Denmark. The library was new build as the old industrial harbour no longer was in use and there was made some new city planning for the area.
If that tower was 5 meters then the houses were a couple inches. ..

In 1982 in Cleveland there was a demolition of the Williamson Bldg, it fell in the Footprint of the building as planned but the damage to surrounding buildings due to the debris and the Shockwave was in the millions.
About half of these went exactly as planned.
@3:20 that pickup was actually doing a final check of the adjacent bridge to make sure nobody was on it.
That was the Savanna Sabula bridge..that's was a work vehicle that was driving on the new bridge right before they imploded the old bridge.
Video was actually put out by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Strange that it showed a Las Vegas demolition that went perfectly, but didn't show the one that didn't go as planned, but was shown in the movie, "Mars Attacks".
What about the one in the dark Knight where Heath ledger was leaving the hospital and he was supposed to blow up the hospital but it did not do it on time and his reaction was improvised and real
The one in ConAir, the stardust. That was amazing and perfect.

Silos should never be built near any other structures.
Could be that other buildings are built near to the silo's.
Would kinda defeat their purpose.

All I can think of is..... what a waste and what a mess and a breathing hazard and fish dying in the bridge demolitions. I wonder how much salvaging goes on before something is demolished. Where does all the waste go? Anything recycled?

Apparently, throwing up big clouds of dirt and smoke counts as going horribly wrong. Pathetic.

Dude in truck on bridge was the one that set it off and was blowing the horn, hear it pass by the camera.
14:40 was a local one to me in Cockenzie in Scotland. Apparently when the two chimneys hit each other you could see a devils face. A lot of viewers say they saw it but even slowing the footage down I can't.
These foolish situations are evidence that caution and attention are crucial in daily work.

Most buildings to destroy are very strong. So why destroy it? Could be restored for living room. If buildings are not getting destroyed, every single human of this world could have a home.

What do ya say we hold off with the professional demolition crews until we've given our military a shot or two at bringing down those pesky bridges and/or buildings? I think it would provide real-world training for the military plus it would be cool to watch!

This Silo did the same thing when they took it down MONTHS ago.

A lot of them went perfectly according to plan. Several times again foottage of a minutes earlier demolition but from another angle. Missing the Philips VH building in Eindhoven where the elevator shaft didn't fell down and got stuck in the basement.

Easier to destroy than building it. There is an air of regret to see structures and building going down for good after many years standing.
