I'd never seen any of BTS or J-Hope before Lolla, I was there as a volunteer for saturday and sunday. As I was leaving the festival I realized there was a stage to the side, then realized it was the K-Pop guy. I don't think most people realized there was a side access by the exit out of the park where you could get pretty close to the front of the stage from. I just wanted to say IDK about most of what you're saying bc I don't know him or the band he's from, but you're right saying he was different than the other acts. He wasn't just keeping up his own energy through the show, but he was conserving the audience's energy too. Other acts wanted you to be cheering loud, dancing, jumping, whatever the whole time. But the song order and the very small amount of time between tracks (like, no dead air or whatever for most of the show which surprised me,) all of that made it so those people with the kpop flashlights didn't have to get tired because they were waving them constantly. He did not ask of anyone that they get loud the *whole* time. People around me were able to drink water and put down their arms at some moments that I think must have been planned by someone, either him, or someone in the tech crew. So I just wanted to say it wasn't just him, or even his music that made this show special, but the stage tech, song lineup, everything actually worked in a way where you had the *stamina* for the show throughout the whole thing, even at the end of the long lolla weekend and at the end of a very hot day in the sun. Most fun thing I saw this weekend, you could tell he was nice and it wasn't faked at all. Also liked that they had a really good live band there too. They made the performance seem much more alive.
I also didn't expect his songs to be so rock and roll, I definitely loved the first half more. Does anyone want to recommend me the rock ones? Baseline and the fire one were really good live. I would listen to a whole album of just songs like that.
You may like his solo album Jack in the Box (the latest), most of the album is rock-based. Also, there are some songs from his first album "Hope World" that you might recognize from the show. Hangsang would be one not to be missed.

I had absolutely no doubt that Hobi would BURN THAT STAGE TO THE GROUND, I mean, his stage presence and complete dedication and passion toward performance are unmatched. But even I was blown away by how unbelievable it really was. Man! I really love him!

Bro I was there!! He fucking set us all on fire I do not know how the hell I survived . It was THE BEST live performance I've ever been able to witness and I've been to a lot of concerts including 5 BTS ones.
he did so well im so proud of hobi. also really glad jimin was there for him. hobi stresses a lot, so much so that jimin literally flew in from korea to check on him like, he needed jimin there and im so glad the boys are all still so close while doing their solo stuff. hobi really did something so incredible with this show and all his hard work paid off.

Hobi killed it, my friends were at the festival because we are only 4.5 hours away but my health I know I cannot stand the heat so I streamed but my friends got me some clips. But I admit the festival feel and not concert feel put me to sleep and I woke up when I heard Hobi introduction and the concert took place, there is no one can do concert like BTS is and Hobi did so much and he did it all alone that must of been scary but he carried it out like nothing and he is the highlight of the whole night. Kudo to Army for staying there since 5am. Love you Hobi...this set a tone for Suga and RM. I love the Maknae line but it is time for the RapLine to come out soloing to get all light on them. I love BTS.

I love each and every BTS member for their own charms & talents. No favourites. Just want them all to be happy. Only getting around to watching this now. But omg I get emotional when I think of what he did on that stage. He was so fucking amazing!! Over 105,000 people strong in that audience and he had them in the palm of his hand. And as you said, he did this without his brothers by his side, it was all him. The thing is about BTS, none of them do things by halves, they put EVERYTHING into their craft, and I just shudder when I think of what each of them can & will do individually! They are a true force to be reckoned with together and separately. It’s easy to see why the music industry is always so scared of them.

Hobi did soooo good! I was so hype during the concert I was trying to hard not to be loud... haha I wish I could have gone. Also, I want one of those jhope lightsticks that I saw people holding or was I seeing things. Anyway, I am so proud of jhope and I glad that Jimin was able to come and support Hobi. he did so well im so proud of hobi. also really glad jimin was there for him. hobi stresses a lot, so much so that jimin literally flew in from korea to check on him like, he needed jimin there and im so glad the boys are all still so close while doing their solo stuff. hobi really did something so incredible with this show and all his hard work paid off.

Hobi killed it, my friends were at the festival because we are only 4.5 hours away but my health I know I cannot stand the heat so I streamed but my friends got me some clips. But I admit the festival feel and not concert feel put me to sleep and I woke up when I heard Hobi introduction and the concert took place, there is no one can do concert like BTS is and Hobi did so much and he did it all alone that must of been scary but he carried it out like nothing and he is the highlight of the whole night. Kudo to Army for staying there since 5am. Love you Hobi...this set a tone for Suga and RM. I love the Maknae line but it is time for the RapLine to come out soloing to get all light on them. I love BTS.

I love each and every BTS member for their own charms & talents. No favourites. Just want them all to be happy. Solo is stepping outside the comfort zone & showing more of that individuality, scary in some ways. Even a big personality like J Hope found it challenging. I agree each will do it their own way. I am so looking forward to each solo debut & will support heart & soul. Let’s do our best to support them and each other.

Only getting around to watching this now. But omg I get emotional when I think of what he did on that stage. He was so fucking amazing!! Over 105,000 people strong in that audience and he had them in the palm of his hand. And as you said, he did this without his brothers by his side, it was all him. The thing is about BTS, none of them do things by halves, they put EVERYTHING into their craft, and I just shudder when I think of what each of them can & will do individually! They are a true force to be reckoned with together and separately. It’s easy to see why the music industry is always so scared of them.

Hobi did soooo good! I was so hype during the concert I was trying to hard not to be loud... haha I wish I could have gone. Also, I want one of those jhope lightsticks that I saw people holding or was I seeing things. Anyway, I am so proud of jhope and I glad that Jimin was able to come and support Hobi. I can't even imagine how stressed and anxious he was before Jimin got there. It was the cutest vlive... haha congrats to Hobi for this huge accomplishment!💜💜💜

He already said that jimin would have wanted to practice too before coming on but hobi told him that moment and jimin was already drinking with the staffs so it was hard for him to come on. It was on the vlive after that.
