Technically speaking, charizard could only go for so long before going extinct without SERIOUS human help since they are probably predators who spec too much into things, mega y charizard could honestly go for longer if they were a bit smaller and didnt use so much fire

It's even more interesting because it's not just any charizard, it's Mega Charizard X. Like not many megas are considered their true forms, I think Rayquaza is about it, Aerodactyl has information that contradicts it, and Mewtwo or Lucario's are more awakenings than true original forms, meanwhile some like Scizzor, Houndoom, or Gyarados are in pain. Ampharos just popped in my head, it does say in 1 dex it is tapping into latent dragon genes, but that's about it to my knowledge and off the top of my head.
Fun fact/correction: the Roman emperor gesture for mercy was not a thumbs up, the thumb showing represents the unsheathed weapon, meaning there was no mercy to the gladiator/victim; the actual gesture for mercy was the thumb being hidden by the other fingers while forming a fist, representing the sheathed weapon.
I feel like the "Intoxicate" ability would make more sense if it made it so that if a Poison type attack fails to poison, it instead has a chance to confuse. 🤔
I know you’re probably tired of Kaskade videos…. But have you ever considered maybe doing a video on the shines? Might be a nice way to to do a recap of all the cool lockemon you made while also explaining the design origins of the shinies.
*Bit of advice here.* Musleefo looks like an unique evolution, so does Ecroach. Why not make it so Apheed can either become one of those with circonstances? Apheed invades the natural territories of humans, and it either becomes Musleefo wich invades the nature or Ecroach wich invades the cities with nature?
There is a Discord channel for the game, they probably have a suggestion thread. Go for it. Adding onto this, Musleefo could also have a Swarm Form, Mosquitos do swam after all. Maybe it could look like a tree with the Musleefos for leaves?
Agreed, or maybe to make the process a bit tedious it could just be a split stone evolution like a leaf stone for musleefo and a dusk stone for encroach. Or since musleefo feels more like the natural evolution and Encroach is more of a unique design compared to Apheed, Musleefo could evolve from level up naturally while encroach would evolve from a specific item like black sludge
Of all the Fakemon I've seen on the Internet, the Kaskade Fakemon have got to be the best I've seen so far (and I'm not saying that as a fellow Oregonian lol). I love their designs, I love the inspirations behind them and how clever your ideas for them are. I also can't wait to see more of Project 96! It looks interesting!
id like to say more reason unbralu is a perfect dark type is the common myth that opening a umbrella indoors brings bad luck.. but i cant wait for the game to come out! oh and putting something like "finding a unbralu inside is thought to be bad luck" in its dex would be cool

A fitting thing for making an umbrella dark type is that umbrellas can be used to cast shadows in addition to blocking rain. We think of parasols being used to block sunlight, and umbrellas to block rain, but umbrellas and umbrella-like tools have been used to block sunlight for ages. That’s why they have that name, derived from “umbra”. I know that Dark types aren’t all literally about shadows. But some do lean into that as well as the malicious angle. And since the umbrella mon here has a personal issue with having light cast on it, I think that fits pretty darn well.
It’s been a journey but this was a great way to end things. I especially was intrigued by Golett and its new evolution. Excited to see where the game goes along with the next idea.

My favorite in the video by far is the vampire umbrella. It is so awesome. I like the shoutout to Twilight. The dual typing is very fitting while also being quite unique. The Cullens are rich enough to be anywhere they want. They lived in Forks, Washington, specifically because they like the rainy climte.
Ok but from what I've seen from the thumbnail those two aren't really good looking enough to be considered legendary lockymon they look more like spodolegndery like Dragonite so they might want either change up the design a bit or just make two new concepts for legendary lockymon plus they probably completely forget about making mythical lockymon plus if the game isn't potentially going to be released on the app store I'm not really interested tbh that's just how it is in my opinion

if I'm not able to get on the app store and there are no mythical lockymon plus the legendary lockymon don't even look like there legendary lockymon but I will say that the two of the ulta beast lockymon look decent tbh I'm not really interested for the fact that the legendary lockymon look boring and I'm not able to get the game on the app store and that's just how it is so maybe whatever the next lockymon region will actually have good looking legendary lockymon and be available for the app store so until then I'm not going to get the game that's just how it goes with me sorry 😕

The redca line is my favourite i have ever made, combining the proccess to make maple syrup as well as horror stories from bell island, one of the most haunted places in the world, and that also happens to be in canada

You have no idea how hard I popped off when I saw Umbralu! I’ve had the concept of an umbrella/vampire squid Pokémon in my head for a long while now (though my thoughts took it in a more yokai-ish route) and it brings me so much joy to see someone make that idea a reality.
And so comes an end to the Kaskade Region. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos for Pokemon Legends Neo. I know they'll be epic! I was still hoping to see some info on Rotomb and the legendary Thunderbird.

Just visit WA for two weeks last month. And I gotta say it made me appreciate the kascade region so much more! You along with other fakeMon region creators inspired me to pick back up my own region, shedoval, based on Virginia, my home state. The name is just a mashed together version of Shenandoah valley Can’t wait for both the game and for PLNG to start this summer, keep up the good work!!

Man whatever team I do make, I'm building it around Gardevoir. I'm definitely using Golgre, Yanmage, Bloomage, and the Water/Bug Starter. I like using rarer types :)
I haven't been very much into Pokemon since I was a kid, but I am LOVING how much thought and care you are putting into the lore of your Lockémon. You're doing great! 👍👍
Honestly, looking back on the region, it's been pretty cool. I love the concept and all the Pokemon (I love how there are two Umbrella Pokemon because I just do for some reason), the whole gimmick sounds really original and the story and battles sound cool, but I have one or two nitpicks. First one isn't that bad, just that the Weathergy gimmick may be a bit too confusing for people to play with. You have tried your best to not make it too complex, thank you for that, but idk, for new players it may be a bit too crazy. Last one is that I feel like almost the entire region is based on that ONE single stereotype of "PNW people are cookoo for coacoa puffs and believe in doomsday and aliens". With Qwaile's line and some of the other Pokemon, it's cool, but since it's also a major thing in the entire story and there is a LOT to do with Psychics, Aliens, Doomsday and, to put it bluntly, "tin-foil hat wearing nutjobs", I feel like the region gets a bit... TOO meta. Yes, Pokemon has had meta-commentary before, but Kaskade has a bit too much IMO. Overall, solid 9.5/10 Region, I love it and I wish it was real.
Love the bug type representation with the ecroach line, every part could have been the last but it newer cooler forms kept getting added and I loved every single one
Dioniseuyr is EVERYTHING I never knew I wanted from a pokemon As somewhat of a poison type specialist, I can say with confidence this would be my main-mon

I really felt that Umbralu description. I don't think I've used my umbrella in more than a decade and generally forget that I even own one. There's no need for it unless its an absolute downpour outside, and even when I need to go out in that I still tend to just wear a coat and rush to the car/store/wherever I'm going instead of using the umbrella.
There was something filming at UW recently, and as I was walking past I joked to my friend that “well, they’re doing a good job of hiding that it’s Seattle - all of the characters have umbrellas!”

That idea of an epic bigfoot hunting side quest is awesome, in the official games side quests are to find cool items and stuff, but imagine that, but finding a strong pokemon, Pretty cool in my professional opinion
This is absolutely what Pokemon is all about. Having fun with these magical monsters. I felt like I was listening to a pokemon professor introduce newly discovered pokemon to an auditorium of people or something. Super cool
I made a ground fairy type Yagran Golurk. It's a nature golem made of tightly packed roots and soil, and its core is a perfectly smooth amber in the same form as the earth. It can even unravel itself and merge into the ground to hide and ambush intruders. Its signature move is basically a stronger, fairy-type dig. Yagran Golett even learns Dig.
I really hope the final game includes an evolution for Mercryny because I think it looks a bit unfinished, I also love poison steel as a type combo so I hope that it can turn into something new that I'm sure would look awesome!
Oh, it ends in a "V" for Generation Fi*_v_*e, I get it. Also, not sure how to feel about Charizard being the stinger for the teaser. I get Charizard is THE beneficiary for Game Freak/TPCI's nepotism, but it still feels off...
Lockstin being a super technical battle which you cannot defeat with brute force but rather you need to learn the mechanics of the game to even have a chance sounds pretty sweet, ngl.
The Dzunukwa image at 15:48 looks less like she is carrying a basket, and more like she has a howdah with people crewing the back strapped to her. A lot like what people did with elephants across the Mediterranean, South Asia & South-East Asia.
My family (not me) actually went down to Forks the other day which reminded me that Twilight is a thing of my state (never seen it and people dont mention it much where i live, but there they had like Face-In-Hole Photobooths of Edward), so fitting that this video introduces a Twilight mon

The red in the water is actually called red tide and is caused by swarms of dinoflagellates, a type of microorganism often grouped with algae
It’s been a journey but this was a great way to end things. I especially was intrigued by Golett and its new evolution.

You have no idea how hard I popped off when I saw Umbralu! I’ve had the concept of an umbrella/vampire squid Pokémon in my head for a long while now (though my thoughts took it in a more yokai-ish route) and it brings me so much joy to see someone make that idea a reality.
And so comes an end to the Kaskade Region. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos for Pokemon Legends Neo. I know they'll be epic! I was still hoping to see some info on Rotomb and the legendary Thunderbird.
We never did find out what Rotomb's deal. It's on the Swirling Seasons wiki and it shares base Rotom's typing of Electric/Ghost.
Also the wiki calls Rotomb the "Cremation Pokémon"

Just visit WA for two weeks last month. And I gotta say it made me appreciate the kascade region so much more! You along with other fakeMon region creators inspired me to pick back up my own region, shedoval, based on Virginia, my home state. The name is just a mashed together version of Shenandoah valley

Also can you do a complete Lockedex of all the Lockemon? It could be a video or even just a poster of all of them in their sequential order. It would be so fun to see them all in one video/image.

Man whatever team I do make, I'm building it around Gardevoir. I'm definitely using Golgre, Yanmage, Bloomage, and the Water/Bug Starter. I like using rarer types :)
I haven't been very much into Pokemon since I was a kid, but I am LOVING how much thought and care you are putting into the lore of your Lockémon. You're doing great! 👍👍
Honestly, looking back on the region, it's been pretty cool.
I love the concept and all the Pokemon (I love how there are two Umbrella Pokemon because I just do for some reason), the whole gimmick sounds really original and the story and battles sound cool, but I have one or two nitpicks.
First one isn't that bad, just that the Weathergy gimmick may be a bit too confusing for people to play with. You have tried your best to not make it too complex, thank you for that, but idk, for new players it may be a bit too crazy.
Last one is that I feel like almost the entire region is based on that ONE single stereotype of "PNW people are cookoo for coacoa puffs and believe in doomsday and aliens". With Qwaile's line and some of the other Pokemon, it's cool, but since it's also a major thing in the entire story and there is a LOT to do with Psychics, Aliens, Doomsday and, to put it bluntly, "tin-foil hat wearing nutjobs", I feel like the region gets a bit... TOO meta. Yes, Pokemon has had meta-commentary before, but Kaskade has a bit too much IMO.
Overall, solid 9.5/10 Region, I love it and I wish it was real.

Love the bug type representation with the ecroach line, every part could have been the last but it newer cooler forms kept getting added and I loved every single one

Fun fact; The Basket Ogress isn't the only First Nations folktale about an ogre that sucks out the brains of children. There's also the Mosquito Man of the Haida and Gitxsan, as well as a version the Dane-zaa have.

I really felt that Umbralu description. I don't think I've used my umbrella in more than a decade and generally forget that I even own one. There's no need for it unless its an absolute downpour outside, and even when I need to go out in that I still tend to just wear a coat and rush to the car/store/wherever I'm going instead of using the umbrella.

That idea of an epic bigfoot hunting side quest is awesome, in the official games side quests are to find cool items and stuff, but imagine that, but finding a strong pokemon,

This is absolutely what Pokemon is all about. Having fun with these magical monsters. I felt like I was listening to a pokemon professor introduce newly discovered pokemon to an auditorium of people or something. Super cool
I made a ground fairy type Yagran Golurk. It's a nature golem made of tightly packed roots and soil, and its core is a perfectly smooth amber in the same form as the earth. It can even unravel itself and merge into the ground to hide and ambush intruders. Its signature move is basically a stronger, fairy-type dig. Yagran Golett even learns Dig.
Suggestion: Futuristic region Pokémon
It's wild that this series started with me in California not intending to move to today, where I've lived in the PNW for a year
I really hope the final game includes an evolution for Mercryny because I think it looks a bit unfinished, I also love poison steel as a type combo so I hope that it can turn into something new that I'm sure would look awesome!

Lockstin being a super technical battle which you cannot defeat with brute force but rather you need to learn the mechanics of the game to even have a chance sounds pretty sweet, ngl.

The Dzunukwa image at 15:48 looks less like she is carrying a basket, and more like she has a howdah with people crewing the back strapped to her. A lot like what people did with elephants across the Mediterranean, South Asia & South-East Asia.

That red algae bloom is annual down here in Florida, actually. We call it Red Tide. VERY toxic. Also, those moss balls. Are they 'Air Moss'? Which is VERY common down here.

The end of the project 96 trailer here has the lavender town theme in it! It fits perfectly with the seeming dystopian style of the region!
