Pandit Samtaprasad ji was any way Modest. Even if he could not get up in the last to take the applause, Pandit ji was modest. Audience thought Panditji 🙏 is so very humble but he was really most Humble too.
Pt Samta Prasad didn’t stand up for the standing ovation at the end of a concert.... even when Ud Vilayat Khan asked him to...the audience thought the tabla player must be extra humble continuing to sit while UVK was standing....then the curtain closed and UVK asked him why he didn’t stand up... he said he couldn’t stand up for the ovation because the drawstring on his pyjama broke 😂
