An abrasive wheel cutter is the best for cable jackets, cuts them super clean.

@@tommegan6500 Wish I'd have read that earlier. Being the genius that I am - tried cutting the housing cable with some old dull side snips and boy oh boy. Not only did I destroy the cable and the housing, but wore myself out. I came inside and bought the right tools for the job. But I hope your tip helps someone in the future

Why remove the cable adjusters in the first place?

Your chain was in a LOW gear (larger cog) on the cassette during this install. Before starting the process, I would think it is better to get chain into smallest cog, then remove the cable. Maybe it does not matter. Thanks for the video. It is helpful and I like your channel.

Great video! I'll be installing my new kit in the next week. Your channel looks to be a wealth on knowledge with programming.
Why did you remove both barrel adjusters? Seems like an unnecessary step.
I would recommend ferrules on all ends of any housings. Over time, the steel wires inside the housing will start to pull through.

I know this is an old vid but can you remember the model of that norco bike? Also, how many teeth the chainring has? Reason I'm asking is because I have a norco fluid ht I'm going to convert but thought I might have chain line issues or chainring hitting chain stay because it only has a 30t chainring originally on

Maybe you can answer why do we need that sensor? I just ended install my 500w kit, but saw that "useless" yellow connector from the motor. Made some search and found out it was for that particular sensor. But I don't know if I really need it or if it's for, like, mountain bike with a lot of speed changes.

Can I use a single gear chain ring on either mid drive ? I dont need a bike with several rings do I ?

Hello friend, congratulations for the channel. How to do when the brake is hydraulic? Is it the same rear sensor? Thanks

I’m having a hard hard time getting the cable to push through. Would a small amount of some sort of lubricant help? Would it alter the performance of the sensor if I put a small dab of grease on the cable to get it to slide through? Also, there are two screws on the sensor … is it possible to temporarily open up the sensor, feed the cable through and then close the sensor housing?

I have seen that another guy did just that.... Unscrewed the two screws of the casing, opened it up, layer the cable in there, and then put it back together.....He said it worked fine

I need to do this if I buy a 48v battery with motor from you or that's something you would do for your customer?

You would need to install it with the kit but depending on where you are located we have installers that can install it for you. Reach out to our sales team they would be able to set you up with an installer

I think its better to put the sensor in another place like the handel bars because near the wheel back there it can get damaged it happened to me.
