You could always learn! It's a valuable life skills! If you're in school, take a foods class. If you're in life, google cheap and simple recipes. You almost never put anything on high heat except to boil water, everything else can go on medium or low heat. Get a probe thermometer and make sure meats are cooked 165°. Cooking is not as intimidating as you think!

Baking is so much harder than cooking because of how precise it is. And since Julien doesn’t like following a recipe, or measuring, and then it won’t turn out well (and this is coming from a pastry chef who sometimes doesn’t measure, and typically regrets it, but still does it when I’m baking for myself and lazy)

In fact you can make vegan soft serve ice cream with jackfruit seeds, AND you can make crispy jerky skins with the skin So there’s definitely way more recipes you can do with jackfruit that just don’t involve pork, You could also probably make a actual full-fledged video of just jackfruit recipes

Aquafaba can be used to make Mayo and even whipped into meringue (which you can't do with most egg substitutes). It has some strange protein properties, but its actually really close in properties to eggs. smart to use it as an egg wash.

I am vegan, and this show makes me want to cook more, even though i did just make fried/steamed rice paper gochujang/garlic/ginger Korean-Chinese fusion dumpling/'egg' rolls with carrots, sweet potatoes, and mung bean noodles as the filling... It was tasty, but weird. 2nd time making dumpling/roll things, first time i made the wraps from scratch.

Aquafaba can be used to make Mayo and even whipped into meringue (which you can't do with most egg substitutes). It has some strange protein properties, but its actually really close in properties to eggs. smart to use it as an egg wash.
