  • Ibrahim Traore Breaks News Of Stepping Down As Predsident, But The People Protest and Say No.
    On July 1st, 2024, the transitional government of Captain Ibrahim Traore will come to an end. Recall that when he came to power in September 2022 and was appointed interim president of Burkina Faso in October of the same year, Ibrahim Traore pledged to give his support for a transition leading to elections in July 2024. This means that the military government which has been ruling Burkina Faso for more than a year, is about to end. And in line with this, Traore’s administration recently announced that they will hold national consultations at the end of this month to determine the next steps in the nation’s transition to civilian rule. According to a press release signed by Minister of Territorial Administration Emile Zerbo and read on national television, “National meetings have been called for May 25 and 26 in Ouagadougou”. "These meetings will enable representatives of the nation's active forces to deliberate on the next steps to be taken in the transition, which will run until July 1, 2024, as stipulated in the October 14, 2022 charter," the announcement said.
    The minister's statement further revealed that “The meetings will bring together representatives from civil society, political parties, and the military to "take stock of the past months, decide whether to continue the transition and what that continuation will be”. This announcement comes after all 71 members of the legislative assembly for transition, the ALT, approved a plan for a transition forum, leaving it to the sovereign people who will meet during the national forum to decide the development of the transition in April. All these moves are in preparation for what happens next after the transition period of Captain Traore ends in July. But the question is, “Is that what the citizens of Burkina Faso want? Do they want a new leader who will be elected to replace Ibrahim Traore? Not surprisingly the answer is NO. The citizens of Burkina Faso have enjoyed the leadership of Ibrahim Traore so much so that on May 11th, thousands of Burkinabes gathered at the Municipal Stadium in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, to pledge support for the extension of Traore’s transition period.

    The captain MUST remain in office.

      The African masses on the continent in their organizations must get into the streets and demand similar changes and Alliance Blocs like the AES with the vision of a United States of Africa! In the long term, the independence of the AES is meaningless without an independent Africa for the masses of African people. In the short term, the African masses in their organizations must promote or support regional Blocs like AES in all regions of the Continent with the intent of coming to the AID (moral and material) of the AES and one another! Only in our UNITY can the AES and like Bloc survive the colonialist INTRIGUE or PLOT now underway! We must learn from past history! We must study, struggle and learn from the mistakes of great leaders like Kwame Kkrumah, Sekou Toure, Thomas Sankara, Amilcar Cabral and others. Forward to Pan-Africanism and African-Internationalism. In defense of the AES! In defense of the United States of Africa! A luta continua! Forward Ever, Backward Never! Africa for the Africans! African freedom for the benefit of the masses..or DEATH! Long live IbrahimTraore! Long live Assimi Goita! Long live Abdourahamane Tiani! Long live....

    If you listen to Traore's speeches His mind works on a universal level;
    his perspective is beyond any other leader in Africa and the world.
    Only Putin has a comparable level of wisdom and he has been a leader for over 20 years.

    Traore's leadership qualities are extremely very scarce on the African continent.
    We should not be talking about party politics democracy in Burkina Faso for now and the next 5 years that the Burkinabe people unanimously gave to him to be their President.
    Forget about what the West forcing on Africans at this time. These times are different.

    Good leaders in Africa tend to be a happy accident. No one knows when and where they'll come from. When they show up, we hope they stay one or two terms to give relief to the citizens. If he could stay an equivalent of one or two terms, and stays consistent, it could improve the lives of Burkina people significantly.
