Very informative my friend ! Thank you very much for the effort to upload this clip. I don't have any of these tool yet, and I'm looking forward to buy one. The price on the automatic one from Knipex is toooo much for me, but this 97 21 215 B seems the perfect option to work on my car and in my house. Maybe i will search only for a second wire stripper after purchasing this one. My whole life I was striping wires with my Morakniv knife 😁 time to change that.
Hello, great video my friend, I bought 2 pliers to replace my old Burndy Y10MF-16, both from Ali Express (the same one you showed in the video, from Iwiss). Until I saw this Knipex on a website, and I was in doubt. But your video helped me to see that it is worth buying it. Thanks.
Excellent instructions-everything explained in a very good and patient speed. Thank you very much. By the way, I've just purchaded the KNIPEX 9721215 (without the B). I want to crimp loudspeaker cables (6mm2) to my TECHNICS SU A900 Amp. Any suggestions would be welcome. Stay healthy
Well, that depends on what kind of connectors you want to crimp. For your crimper you need to find connectors that are colour coded, matching the crimper. The yellow ones take up to 6mm2 I believe. Something like this: www.12voltplanet.co.uk/insulated-fork-crimp-terminal-yellow.html
When you demonstrated the Chinese tool you used the same slot for both crimps, but on the Knipex you used the 2.5 slot for the first crimp and the smaller 1.5 slot for the second crimp. That being said, the gaps on the Chinese tool are definitely wrong, as they should be getting progressively smaller from the tip of the tool to the pivot point. Thanks for the video!

Wow i didn't know you could crimp 2 wires together instead of soldering.. Looks great and I love crimping too 🤣 thank you very much 🙏
the best review on youtube
Nice video, very satisfying to watch though I did shed a tear when that last crimp failed 😂 How do you insulate your crimps, heat shrink?
Yes, most of the time with heat shrink.
Cheers, just bought one on ur recommendation 👍

1:10 what this crimp connector called ? i take this is to join two wires together.
GOOD FIND.
Have you compared them to the American auto wire version? Thanks.
No, as I am in the UK.
The knipex 9721215B it's good for terminals 6.3mm bro?
Pressmaster i believe they are swedish the best 👌👌
Compare your Knipex with Engineer PA-09
That one is double in price...
Which joint is better for resistance? Tin plated or crimped?
In my opinion proper crimp will win as it's a cold weld joint metal on metal. Solder is an extra medium that adds resistance to the connection.
Best ones I've ever bought
where did you get these from?
Amazon
purchaded = purchased
Very dolby
Very crimpy
😁
wow, scary you think this is the best crimper out there.
Por the price. Obviously there are better ones, but would will have to pay 5x for them.
