Nice, I wasn't familiar with the different Bitter regional styles despite even living in England for almost a half year. A an English Bitter sounds like a great lower ABV beer for the winter. I'm with you on the mash time in that I usually end up still doing an hour for clarity more than anything. It also seems like I need extra time if I have anything un-malted like flaked oats. Cheers
