I am so glad to have found your series. I am planning a medicinal herb garden and have been doing a lot of research. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge.
I just came across this video today. I loved it. I have grown a few herbs and enjoyed making tea. I’ve learned so much in this one video! Now I have to go and find all the others since this is 8 of 8. I have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you for what you do!
Enjoyed this video. You are very informative!! Just following while you walked in your beautiful gardens and learning more about herbs, teas and all the uses of herbs was great. Ty for sharing
Excellent! Thank you! I loved when the hummingbird fluttered right into the plant and right past you! Pretty awesome! I love making tea from all of my herbs, oregano, yes lemon balm, rosemary, even thyme! But the thyme kicks my you know what, so I have to go easy on the thyme. I love them all! And I get as much benefit from harvesting, choosing, and preparing my tea as I do from drinking it. Lastly, I’ve never heard of this being done but I have been taking a flat bottom glass and smashing Lemon Balm (or maybe it’s lemon basil ?) in a shallow dish with a little bit of water in it. Then I pour the water in a glass and add more cold water and stir in raw honey for a summertime drink. OH MY GISH!! IT IS AWESOME!! I can’t get enough!! I sometimes smash the leaves through a strainer screen too, to get as much out of them as I can! It’s a wonderful light green color and the taste has so many tones to it that I have to sip it in tiny sips to truly absorb all the wonderful flavors! Thank you again. I have really enjoyed this series.
I'm glad to come across your channel very informative. I've been drinking tea for some time when Friends come over I like to welcome them with a samovar this is Russian tradition from 18th century that has caught on world wide. A samovar welcomes guests extending Friendship, hospitality, and comfort. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of herbal teas and gardening. I need to expand my garden in this area. All the Best
Your garden is so beautiful and lush. I learned a lot from this video, thanks for making it! Can't wait to grow and harvest some of my own herbs for tea :)
Wow!i thought a 40 min tea video is gonna be too long but i was SO reeled into the video i didnt notice it was almost done.i love this video and your very beautiful garden
Hi Rose! Love your all your videos! We moved to Oregon last year, growing lots of herbs n flowers so this video came to me at just the right time! With all the pine trees around me I started drinking pine needle tea, crossing it with lemon balm! Will miss you, your lovely garden, nursery and yoga! Blessings to you always! 🙏🏻 Pat
I have searched high and low for a good video on growing tea herbs and how to blend teas, and I am so happy I found this one!!! Thank you for doing these videos, I’ll be watching the rest of them soon!!
This is great. My first time growing lemon verbena. I'm excited to make some teas and extractions. I have mints and stevia as well. I bought some tea bags so I am make gifts. My Pug Dexter is offended neither one of them got a cookie hahahha
You’re a great video today I always love to learn more about gardening and this was an awesome learning video thank you so much for sharing so much great information. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy
This was the best herbal tea video I've seen so far. I have a couple of questions. I've been thinking about starting a tea house focusing mostly on herbal tea, grown in the garden of the tea house. How big is your garden? Do you only grow herbs? What do you think, what size of garden would one need to create a sustainable tea house? Thank you so much!
You would have to have seasonal teas since different herbs grow during different seasons. A great idea would be to look up videos of tea houses and hopefully you find some that grow their own herbs to see how they do it. Much love and abundance!🙏
I really enjoyed this! I'd also suggest that lemongrass, rosemary, and sage in particular, and "grassy" herbs in general, are great for steeping in bone broth or homemade stock/broth.
Loved your videos. I love growing herbs and other botanicals and making tea. Currently I grow mints like peppermint spearmint chocolate mint and a few others. NJ tea and lavender. Lemon verbena also bee balm. planning on growing lemon grass again this year all I have coneflowers which grew mostly for the birds but you have inspired me to make a blend with it. Thx for your inspiring video
Hi Rose I loved this series on herbs. You are so interesting and informative, even tho I find it amusing the way you pronounce herb without the H 😁 (I'm British) On this tea-making episode, when you cut a sprig or pulled petals or flower heads off the plant, to show us, were you giving us an idea of how much to use in the tea? I really want to know the amounts of leaves, or flowers etc. Thanks x
I was watching your lavendar video and saw a water fountain at the end that was awesome, and I wondered if it was crafted by you guys and if so how you built it, thanks
Hi, so happy I found your channel. 😊Im a beginner at making my own tea from my garden, i would like to try nettle tea, does it make any difference if I pick nettle mature or young? Many thanks. 😊
Can I grow chamomile in a container in Southern California? I’ve failed a few times so I’m 💭 my if I’m doing something wrong or if it just doesn’t like containers. :)
You help me fight my herpes with your herbal remedies, and give me comfort when I’m sad. You #Dredoror are a great doctor, and I will always recommend your good work to other people, thanks for getting rid of my genital warts..
Our ignorance doesn't understand that sounding the "H" is bad manners in American . . Probably stems from the the original immigrants' way of pronunciation of the English language (many times not sounding the H) is the norm!

On the Stinging Nettles, isn’t uric acid what builds up in your joints when you have gout?
So informative! 💚
Great video.
I wish I could get lemon balm to overwinter.
If wanting to have Ginger in my tea ☕️, guess I have to boil it first 👍🏻

Does anyone have a book recommendation about tea gardens and herbs along with the benefits of each?

I want *all* of the fruity mints. I don't know where to buy them!
You can buy them from Morningsun herb farm. Rose is the owner. They have the best herbs.
I love your video on lavender but do you have trouble with deer? If so,
how do you deal with them?
Question - can you really combine a bunch of different mints in one big container without losing individual flavors ?
Can u make a purely lemon verbena tea?
Can I grow chamomile in a container in Southern California? I’ve failed a few times so I’m 💭 my if I’m doing something wrong or if it just doesn’t like containers. :)
Can I just follow you around all day and listen to you?

At 15 minutes, the tea ☕️ is cold 🤷♀️, so I find I have to reheat it .
Rabbits love Tulsi also
May I help you with your pronunciation?
You pronounce it like this:
tis- ane(like the name Ann)
No chocolate, im allergic
What’s going on with all these Yanks pronouncing Herbs without the H?
Our ignorance doesn't understand that sounding the "H" is bad manners in American . . Probably stems from the the original immigrants' way of pronunciation of the English language (many times not sounding the H) is the norm!
😂i used to think the same thing!
My English clever mum realized why it was and explained her theory to me🤔💜
This is why
