New Fujifilm firmware, Reala Ace, is the autofocus better, first impressions.

Following on from yesterdays video, the new firmware update is out and i test my first impressions on the X-S20, plus I checkout the Reala Ace film simulation

Your audio isn't great

It's not, I selected the noise gate by accident, rather than the expander, so the gate is clipping the sounds. I also have clipping as the volume was too high. I later noticed I had knocked the audio to 10db gain.
Never edit when you are tired!!

Nevermind, I got the jist of your video but the audio was bothering me.
Just thought I'd point it out in case you were unaware for next time.
Cheers for the information. I do hope Fujifilm can keep improving their AF. It still lags behind Sony, Canon and Nikon unfortunately. I saw one video where the AF was better on firmware 2.0 than it is on 4.0 (using 35mm f1.4). 🤦🏽‍♂️

@@Feemy Thanks, I'm still learning audio, and honest comments like yours are cool, how else would I learn!
The AF is an issue, as its very situational. You have have areas when it is great, or, like I had on a model shoot last week, it was fine, then just randomly started focusing on the background, despite the camera telling me it had detected a face!
The AF my Lumix S5ii got recently was a game changer that really fixed loads of bugs. However Lumix took over a year to release it so maybe that was key? Taking time to be sure of a good update that has been tested.
The new AF on the fuji cameras seems better, but I wont know till i've used it for a while, hence the first impressions.
