This is definitely the stronger semi final this year. Thursday evening is going to be very competitive and we may have some surprises. Georgia had my favourite clip of the bunch, I loved it. I’m hoping this is finally the year where they make it through. I also really liked Armenia, Norway and San Marino, to name a few. But yeah, SF2 should be a very entertaining show.
Yeah, and they had to change the lyrics a couple of times, but we all still know what the song is really about.... considering the current circumstances, taking such a song to the stage is very tasteless and only shows the brutal and inhumane mindset of this years delegation of Israel and frankly makes me wanna throw up.
When it comes to qualifying chances for San Marino, I just come back to the 2022 scenario (Achille Lauro). That time it was a rock song that not many people cared about before the contest, then blew away expectations during rehearsals by throwing everything at the performance, and causing people to predict it to qualify. At the end, it didn't make it. And I can just see that happening this time again.

Most weakest vocals so far happen to be women. Not everything is sexism. I can’t think of any males that had vocals that need working apart from Nemo and Mustii. Every other male has sounded great.

We were left with just a beautiful voice. More importantly, Nemo! I miss the crazy energy of the film clip. Like others, I don’t love his costume - but it would be great if it was one of five! Oh I wish. I agree about Czechia. She was my #4 and I would have voted for her, but that costume doesn’t work for me. Denmark - Saba has such great presence. I hope she makes it. Armenia looks great! And yes it’s reminiscent of the golden age of ethnic bops… 2004-2010

A lot of people don't like that Israel is allowed to participate this year (and I agree), but at the same time I find it almost ridiculous to exclude them from rankings (this is not a ranking, but I've seen top 36 rankings and like...OK) because they ARE participating. People WILL vote for them. And honestly, objectively, I get it. She sings well and I can see why it's emotional for people. Juries will probably appreciate it a lot and I wouldn't be surprised if it did VERY well in the ROW voting, at least. (But I wouldn't be shocked, if it did NOT do well either.) Anyways... ✌
