Sorry to hear of your sad news. I was actually just thinking of you today. Please stay positive, life sometimes kicks us in the teeth. You will come through this, and come back to Bulgaria with huge smiles on your faces. Yes, use the interim to stay educated, especially your language, it can slip away quickly if you stop. I may be a good idea if Phil does come back over to your property, just to keep an eye on things. You are very lucky to have been given such an early operation date. Wishing you all the very best.

just had the same operation to remove the metal in my leg last week which has set us back. Was going on a building course, to hopefully do what you are doing but that is now on the back burner. Good luck kayleigh and family
@@AlanMcsorley I hope your operation went okay. For me, it's been positive, although it has set us back and I have alot of physio and exercise to do to regain my muscle strength, I am already walking without a huge limp and the pain has improved dramatically. Good luck and listen to your body 👍

Good luck guys, it's much better that you do this surgery in the UK now where you have already doctors who know you, who know your case, and you'll have support from the family and solve it once and for all, than rush it, going back to Bulgaria and struggling so much. Like others have said, Bulgaria will be there, the treasure you build for your children there as well. It will actually be a safe heaven for the complete recovery once all of this is done. Don't feel down, we Bulgarians believe that everything is happening for a reason.
Totally agree, Kayleigh has a great surgical team here and is being seen in a specialist orthopaedic hospital so she couldn't be in a better place. We have always believed that things happen for a reason ❤️ our return home is already being planned so hopefully it won't be too long. Thank you for taking the time to comment 👍

Well strangely enough, I have just put my Bulgarian adventure off for a while. I realised that staying in the UK and saving more money (as you can generate a good income comparatively,) you can save a lump sum to invest in your property. Solar system? New windows? See this is as a great opportunity, not a setback. As you said, you have each other, and that'll get you through everything.

Guys chin up, I’ve been through it myself with health up and down, mostly down. I thought 2024 was gonna be a good year too, I’ve just been told I need to have another surgery also. I’m not letting it get me down, it’s a positive if it makes me better and same goes for you. Everything will be fine, sending lots of love!

Aww my heart breaks for you and no one can truly know what you are going through except you. This is a horrible set back but I held my breath thinking I was going to hear the C word. I truly hope and for some reason feel this operation will fix the issues. I’m impressed with your words and positive attitude. Your young lad is amazing but he is resilient and I think his heart will be with his Mom. You have made great strides and you will get back to your dream property. A bump in the road and yes we’d love to see your progress but don’t worry about anything other than your family…health is number one without it nothing else matters. You have made the right decision. The pain was your bodies way of saying its not right. There is no point you struggling for the next 50 years limping and causing wear and tear on other body parts. Needs to be fixed. It probably wont be 100% but 99% would be better than what you have at the moment. My brother had lots of surgery on his knee over the years at a young age and touch wood they got it sorted in the end and 15 years after the last op his mobility is still good!
Health comes first! We hate it for you all, but it seems you have a good attitude about it. We definitely will watch every video you put out and are subscribed. We do think it's a good idea for Phil and Alex to go back, one to prepare the place for your return, and two to keep Alex constant in his freedom and school. Sad and frustrating news for you all, hoping for the speediest recovery possible. I’m sure you’re already planning it or even doing it already but use the time to build up a reserve of cash if possible. Scan facebook eBay ect for local bargains, so much stuff has much more value here so tools, household items, old TV’s and definitely sofas but I know the last thing is incredibly bulky but there are still low cost ways of getting stuff here. When you come back and if you’re driving over then you’re welcome to stop over with us in NE BG to break the trip a little. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly again soon

Hi Phill & Kayleigh I’ve stumbled across your U-tube channel and have since been watching many of the videos you’ve enlisted. Your life’s story has been quite telling if I’m to be honest and has certainly pulled at my own heart strings. I’ve watched where Phill towed the Caravan to Bulgaria, You’ve since cleared out the Barn, Phill’s built the Porch Walk Way in front of the Caravan, You’ve experienced a near miss of a fire to close for comfort near to your newly purchased land. To the point once again Kayleigh has had a stroke of bad luck with needing to have removed the plate from her leg. But having watched this most recent video as it is saddening to hear of the heartbreak upsetting times you once again are experiencing but your health has to be of a priority over anything. Your Bulgaria land is yours that will be there when the times right for you all. I would like to share from here, wishing you all the very Best of luck going forward, And if Phill does go back to Bulgaria with Alex on his own this may just be a good plan of action for the needs of Alex’s Schooling because sometimes we as humans can overlook ones possible interest in too much depth but mis out on other important matters within life. I had said your land is your land but perhaps see through while Phills not there who is maintaining it keeping the vegetation under control preventing risks of potential threats of fire on your land to your caravan Etc subject fact you have already experienced this potential risk and I thought it was worth a mention here as I’d genuinely would hate to hear of anything unpleasant to happen on the land, This is just Respectful sharing thought. While Kayleigh has her operation we’re all assured parents will look after Kayleigh. Subject to today’s modern technology’s it’s much easier now as we’ve the internet for daily facial communication so you can all communicate together should Kayleigh remain in England & Phill heads off to Bulgaria with Alex to keep maintenance of the land, Plus Alex will be able to continue with his Schooling. Ling time since I watched your channel but my friend watches you and told me. You will be well ❤ dont worry. Don't let depression get to you nobody us really healthy even kids and 20 year olds. Life will go on. Know you have the property waiting. Women have it hard and often not believed how bad it is. In the UK waiting times are horrible BUT at such time being with family is most important and language barrier would stress you out. Be brave know strangers in Bulgaria will pray for you even if you dint comeback you won't disappoint anyone you matter the most. When your better hope Bulgaria becomes your forever home or summer holiday destination like how it is for majority of UK property owners😊

My uncle has bought a property a few years back and is also planning to get over there fully within a year and I’m also looking at various options and availability for purchasing a property myself. This is literally the first video I’ve watched of your journey and it must be heartbreaking to know that you were so close, despite now the setback for a good few months. I’m sure you’ve heard it million times, but keep up the positivity and focus on the good things to look forward to in the future... 😊 Just out of curiosity, which is the area that you live in as the backdrop there is stunning. Never say never, but our property is really one of a kind because of the land type. We know we would be hard pushed to find something like it elsewhere. We love our home so right now it is not an option for us.
Come on guys, six months out of your young lives will change nothing. You have it all ahead of you to look forward too. You'll be back before you know it. Try and enjoy the extra time with your famo in the meantime :-)
I hope that's not too invasive. But I also went through health problems and I learned a lot from them. every illness has a cause. and a lot can be cured with proper nutrition. I was vegan for a few years and it cost me a lot. so let me tell you a few things. Eat vegetables, but make sure to only eat those that are low in lectins. These with lectines need to prepared RIGHT. (Nightshades like tomato, cucumber, paprika, legumes), like this is SO important. I recommend the book “Plant Paradox”. eat good sources of protein such as grass-fed beef, organic chicken, bone broth, good eggs, collagen. Raw milk, raw milk cheese and NO pasture milk. Avoid conventional milk and milk products that are completely heated. It is easiest for our body to absorb all the important amino acids from animal products. GLUTEN is also an issue, today's grain products are highly processed and are no longer real food. Try to avoid it completely for a few weeks. if bread, then sourdough! buy or make your own. and organic flour. everything else is full of pesticides and poisons us. Don't use too much vegetable oils, as they are highly inflammatory. There is a lot of research to do on this. Instead, use gee, organic beef tallow, organic butter, coconut oil and if plant-based, then VIRGIN. Books to read: “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration” by Weston A. Price, Barbara O’Neill also researches. Also important topics are supplementing vitamins such as vitamin D, good sleep, physical exercise, breathing exercises, meditation, healing the nervous system. This is the path to holistic healing. but diet and the daily poisoning by western, “modern” diet is a very big part. I hope that’s not too much and that the message reaches you. Good luck guys, it's much better that you do this surgery in the UK now where you have already doctors who know you, who know your case, and you'll have support from the family and solve it once and for all, than rush it, going back to Bulgaria and struggling so much.
Like others have said, Bulgaria will be there, the treasure you build for your children there as well. It will actually be a safe heaven for the complete recovery once all of this is done.
Don't feel down, we Bulgarians believe that everything is happening for a reason.
Totally agree, Kayleigh has a great surgical team here and is being seen in a specialist orthopaedic hospital so she couldn't be in a better place. We have always believed that things happen for a reason ❤️ our return home is already being planned so hopefully it won't be too long. Thank you for taking the time to comment 👍

Well strangely enough, I have just put my Bulgarian adventure off for a while. I realised that staying in the UK and saving more money (as you can generate a good income comparatively,) you can save a lump sum to invest in your property. Solar system? New windows? See this is as a great opportunity, not a setback. As you said, you have each other, and that'll get you through everything.

Aww my heart breaks for you and no one can truly know what you are going through except you. This is a horrible set back but I held my breath thinking I was going to hear the C word. I truly hope and for some reason feel this operation will fix the issues. I’m impressed with your words and positive attitude. Your young lad is amazing but he is resilient and I think his heart will be with his Mom. You have made great strides and you will get back to your dream property. A bump in the road and yes we’d love to see your progress but don’t worry about anything other than your family…health is number one without it nothing else matters. You have made the right decision. The pain was your bodies way of saying its not right. There is no point you struggling for the next 50 years limping and causing wear and tear on other body parts. Needs to be fixed. It probably wont be 100% but 99% would be better than what you have at the moment. My brother had lots of surgery on his knee over the years at a young age and touch wood they got it sorted in the end and 15 years after the last op his mobility is still good!

It is just a set back for now,your health comes first for your family.well I am doing the same as you guys,I am renovating a property in Bulgaria 50km from Varna,been renovating the last 2 years on my own and love it to bit,the weather and life style is fantastic,I will be heading back the end of April driving a camper out with materials etc,if you both would like to meet and discuss things regarding Bulgaria I would try and help you,I have learned so much regarding the building side etc things you may need to know and maybe things I have missed that you can inlighten me,I am near London so if you fancy a meet for a coffee and a bite of lunch please let me know,.

Sad and frustrating news for you all, hoping for the speediest recovery possible. I’m sure you’re already planning it or even doing it already but use the time to build up a reserve of cash if possible. Scan facebook eBay ect for local bargains, so much stuff has much more value here so tools, household items, old TV’s and definitely sofas but I know the last thing is incredibly bulky but there are still low cost ways of getting stuff here. When you come back and if you’re driving over then you’re welcome to stop over with us in NE BG to break the trip a little. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly again soon

I’ve stumbled across your U-tube channel and have since been watching many of the videos you’ve enlisted. Your life’s story has been quite telling if I’m to be honest and has certainly pulled at my own heart strings.
I’ve watched where Phill towed the Caravan to Bulgaria, You’ve since cleared out the Barn, Phill’s built the Porch Walk Way in front of the Caravan, You’ve experienced a near miss of a fire to close for comfort near to your newly purchased land. To the point once again Kayleigh has had a stroke of bad luck with needing to have removed the plate from her leg.
But having watched this most recent video as it is saddening to hear of the heartbreak upsetting times you once again are experiencing but your health has to be of a priority over anything. Your Bulgaria land is yours that will be there when the times right for you all.
I would like to share from here, wishing you all the very Best of luck going forward, And if Phill does go back to Bulgaria with Alex on his own this may just be a good plan of action for the needs of Alex’s Schooling because sometimes we as humans can overlook ones possible interest in too much depth but mis out on other important matters within life. I had said your land is your land but perhaps see through while Phills not there who is maintaining it keeping the vegetation under control preventing risks of potential threats of fire on your land to your caravan Etc subject fact you have already experienced this potential risk and I thought it was worth a mention here as I’d genuinely would hate to hear of anything unpleasant to happen on the land, This is just Respectful sharing thought. While Kayleigh has her operation we’re all assured parents will look after Kayleigh. Subject to today’s modern technology’s it’s much easier now as we’ve the internet for daily facial communication so you can all communicate together should Kayleigh remain in England & Phill heads off to Bulgaria with Alex to keep maintenance of the land, Plus Alex will be able to continue with his Schooling. Again, this is just a heartfelt respectful thought but seriously good luck with everything guys. It’s the first time I’ve left comment for you and yes I’ve subscribed too. If it were me though I’d put a gutter along the front and back as it would finish it off much better, Plus it will help redirect the water away from the front and back of the Canopy and Caravan surroundings, Just a thought for you because Guttering isn’t so expensive.

Life will go on. Know you have the property waiting. Women have it hard and often not believed how bad it is. In the UK waiting times are horrible BUT at such time being with family is most important and language barrier would stress you out. Be brave know strangers in Bulgaria will pray for you even if you dint comeback you won't disappoint anyone you matter the most. When your better hope Bulgaria becomes your forever home or summer holiday destination like how it is for majority of UK property owners😊

Are you OK with the NHS as you said you were resident in bg. I was in Spain for awhile and they made me wait 6 months before any NHS services

Hey guys, well, that brought a tear to my eyes. I truly feel your pain despite not actually feeling your pain. I’m myself am currently trying to plan, research and learn about progressively getting over to Bulgaria. My uncle has bought a property a few years back and is also planning to get over there fully within a year and I’m also looking at various options and availability for purchasing a property myself. This is literally the first video I’ve watched of your journey and it must be heartbreaking to know that you were so close, despite now the setback for a good few months. I’m sure you’ve heard it million times, but keep up the positivity and focus on the good things to look forward to in the future... 😊

Thank you, I don't think so but we were told that the plate they put in there will be there for life and it hasn't managed a year 🫤. Sometimes these things just happen and its hard to accept but that's the way it is, onwards and upwards 🙂
Im so sorry to hear its so bad for your wife Kayleigh, I really hope removing it will solve the issues, but the bone recovery would indeed take along time, might wanna check into certain supplements to help the process while doing the fysio that is neded? I know she is strong and im confident you will get trough this together cant wait to hear more from you when its all better again

Never say never, but our property is really one of a kind because of the land type. We know we would be hard pushed to find something like it elsewhere. We love our home so right now it is not an option for us.
Come on guys, six months out of your young lives will change nothing. You have it all ahead of you to look forward too. You'll be back before you know it. Try and enjoy the extra time with your famo in the meantime :-)

I hope that's not too invasive. But I also went through health problems and I learned a lot from them. every illness has a cause. and a lot can be cured with proper nutrition. I was vegan for a few years and it cost me a lot. so let me tell you a few things. Eat vegetables, but make sure to only eat those that are low in lectins. These with lectines need to prepared RIGHT. (Nightshades like tomato, cucumber, paprika, legumes), like this is SO important. I recommend the book “Plant Paradox”. eat good sources of protein such as grass-fed beef, organic chicken, bone broth, good eggs, collagen. Raw milk, raw milk cheese and NO pasture milk. Avoid conventional milk and milk products that are completely heated. It is easiest for our body to absorb all the important amino acids from animal products. GLUTEN is also an issue, today's grain products are highly processed and are no longer real food. Try to avoid it completely for a few weeks. if bread, then sourdough! buy or make your own. and organic flour. everything else is full of pesticides and poisons us. Don't use too much vegetable oils, as they are highly inflammatory. There is a lot of research to do on this. Instead, use gee, organic beef tallow, organic butter, coconut oil and if plant-based, then VIRGIN. Books to read: “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration” by Weston A. Price, Barbara O’Neill also researches. Also important topics are supplementing vitamins such as vitamin D, good sleep, physical exercise, breathing exercises, meditation, healing the nervous system. This is the path to holistic healing. but diet and the daily poisoning by western, “modern” diet is a very big part. I hope that’s not too much and that the message reaches you.
