There doesn't seem to be an updated menu online. Prices are about $18 to $20 per dish. Dim sum ($4.95 - $5.95) and a couple items for $8.95 - Peking Duck 3-Ways (Whole) - $76 *as of the date of this video*
One of my favorites, just watching this now makes me feel that I need to go back soon for more duck! Another fantastic video and yes it's the place to be for great cantonese cuisine
I have been here and it is absolutely one of the best Chinese dining experiences I have ever had in the U.S. Every dim sum item I tried was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next Las Vegas visit.
Went to New Asian BBQ in mid-April based on your recommendation and my father is still referencing it as a highlight of our Vegas trip. They gave every table a free soup that night for some reason and the portions are big and tasty
This best Chinese restaurant belongs to a great friend of me (Rebecca and her husband). I am grateful for their achievement introducing the real taste of China
Love Asian food and you really go to some great restaurants. I look forward when I see you dropped a new video. Keep up the great reviews and hopefully by end of 2022 you have 100,000 subscribers. Happy New Year 🎆
As Chinese I am so proud of all Chinese foods…Chinese-foods are the best around the world!! That’s why Chinese foods are popular in the planet. We have million way to cooking them. I really miss all the real Chinese foods! Where I live in central California it’s not easy to eating those roasted meats. Dim sum and bakery foods…that’s bummer for me 🤦♀️ all good looking yummy foods 😀🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤👍👍👏👏💕 All southern Style foods.
That restaurant looks great. I’ve passed it many times, but didn’t know how the food was until this video. I had Peking duck at a Chinese restaurant in the Philippines , they served it the same way by cutting up the meat and placing in the dish. Then the server walked away with the carcass with still much meat attached to my surprise. A few minutes later, he returned with carcass fried and cut into pieces. It was second to none.
I was in Las Vegas last November but I couldn't find any Chinese restaurants that came close to what you had found. I wished I knew this place. Thanks for the sharing. It's truly mouth watering indeed.
Located in Chinatown on Spring Mountain just west of Decatur or 8 minutes west of Las Vegas BLVD. It’s definitely 3 of the best place for Dim Sum in Las Vegas.
I was wondering if this restaurant was related to the Asian bbq place on jones. The other place is smaller but they have the best roasted duck in town!!!
The steam fish is good. Other great species to try 1. Cod Fish (Alaska) 2. Red Garoupa 3. Soon Hock (Malaysia River Fish) 4. Silver or Golden Promfret 5. Hybrid Dragon Tiger Garoupa (Sabah, Malaysia) 6. Wild River Cat Fish (Asia)
Aloha from Hawaii! Going to visiting Vegas soon and will definitely visiting this place. I see in your description you listed the price of the Duck but I was curious to know how much the fish was. Mahalo in advance!
The fish was $220 ... it was supposed to be Coral "Cod" ... but the restaurant cheated us on the fish. It's a common scam. The fish was actually a Coral "Trout" ... a much cheaper fish. A little research shows you how to tell them apart... really easy, curved tail vs poited tail. Gotta be careful. Live fish is a common scam.
@@lasvegaseats702 Holy Smokes 220 and oh no to the scam. I'm so sorry. Mahalo for the heads up. Not good that they are scamming people especially during these hard times. We will still give them a try cause you just made it sound to good to pass up but I think we will stay away from the fresh fish. Mahalo again.
Great advice on asking the price if its " Market Price" . Never assume anything at a Chinese place. the way they presented the duck was very traditional. meat and wrappers, rest of the meat stir fried with veggie and then soup made with the carcass. order the deep freid intestines or intestines with sour veggies. We had both last time and they were awesome
The vegetables that were cooked with the duck carcass is a mustard green hence the slight bitter after taste. I wonder if there's a place in Vegas that serves Peking duck with thin pancakes vs the steam buns.
I''ve been here and it's incredible. Authentic Hong Kong Style dim sum and menu. So much yummy food you can't find outside of San Francisco. Los Angeles is slowly becoming fusion, if you like that stuff = (.
Will definitely try this place! Our favorite dimsum is at Orchids garden at w sahara and lindwll but curious how this place stacks up! Is the dimsum served all day or just lunch?
Currently Dim Sum is served 10am to 3pm. I haven't been to Orchids Garden in awhile. I used to like it there... now I guess it depends on the price as well as the quality.
Just now came across this year old video. Been looking for a place in Chinatown that offers Peking Duck at hopefully a reasonable price ever since another restaurant I use to dine at which had pretty damn good PD closed down. And the joints on the Strip that have it are way too expensive. So I'm gonna give this place a shot to see if their PD is legit.
45 minutes on a very busy holiday weekend, compared to 3 hours at Bachanal. There are days when there is no line, or the wait is 15 to 20 minutes. But prices are up there. But it's good.
I had been griping about how bad Chinese food is in America, in my border city anyway. San Antonio, Austin, nor Houston are equally bad. Will somebody from this cities please change my mind? Do I have to go to Las Vegas?.
The fish was $220... Australian Coral Cod. It became a bit of a controversy, because it was actually an Australian Coral Trout. Big difference in price. This type of counterfeit fish scam is really widespread, so be very careful.
@@lasvegaseats702 I KNOW...$3.00 FOR THE BOTTLE OF WATER..SERIOUSLY..THX FOR THE INFO..GOOD DAY TO YOU..WILL FIND OUT WHENEVER I GET THERE!!! WILL NOT GO TO DOWNTOWN..ONLY STAY ON THE STRIPS..
This place is 100% legit. I can tell just by watching the food. It just looks rite and is made the right way...which I do see it poorly executed. Yes its worth every penny to get food cooked by people who know what thetly are doing. This is an example if that.
All due respect to the restaurant, but that is not the way to carve Peking Duck. Properly carved, the skin should be cut off the breast without the fat. Then the fat should be scraped away from the breast with the blunt end of the knife. Then, the breast meat should be sliced into pieces. Both skin and meat then should be eaten with spring onion and hoisin sauce inside the pancake. Everything else looked quite good though.
Yeah, I've heard that it takes years for people to learn how to carve a Peking duck. And they way it is intended to be eaten. Also, the open and closed oven method... fat should be rendered more making the skin more Crispy. But we're not in China, and I've seen people do their own thing, even in NY and SF. There are only 2 places I know of in Vegas that might do it better... but the prices can make you go bankrupt. Mott 32 at Palazzo and Blossom at Aria.
Yep, understand. If you're ever in the Washington DC area, try to check out Peking Gourmet Inn in Falls Church, Virginia. Very big for a Chinese restaurant, but one of the best, and they do Peking Duck the right way.

Ooohh... don't ask. Lol. The Australian Coral Cod ... but many people confuse the coral trout with a coral cod.
