    There doesn't seem to be an updated menu online. Prices are about $18 to $20 per dish. Dim sum ($4.95 - $5.95) and a couple items for $8.95
    - Peking Duck 3-Ways (Whole) - $76

    Where I live in central California it’s not easy to eating those roasted meats. Dim sum and bakery foods…that’s bummer for me 🤦‍♀️ all good looking yummy foods 😀🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤👍👍👏👏💕 All southern Style foods.

    That restaurant looks great. I’ve passed it many times, but didn’t know how the food was until this video. I had Peking duck at a Chinese restaurant in the Philippines , they served it the same way by cutting up the meat and placing in the dish. Then the server walked away with the carcass with still much meat attached to my surprise. A few minutes later, he returned with carcass fried and cut into pieces. It was second to none.

    Aloha from Hawaii! Going to visiting Vegas soon and will definitely visiting this place. I see in your description you listed the price of the Duck but I was curious to know how much the fish was. Mahalo in advance!

    • @lasvegaseats702
      @lasvegaseats702  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fish was $220 ... it was supposed to be Coral "Cod" ... but the restaurant cheated us on the fish. It's a common scam. The fish was actually a Coral "Trout" ... a much cheaper fish. A little research shows you how to tell them apart... really easy, curved tail vs poited tail. Gotta be careful. Live fish is a common scam.

    • @kevinl4599
      @kevinl4599 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lasvegaseats702 Holy Smokes 220 and oh no to the scam. I'm so sorry. Mahalo for the heads up. Not good that they are scamming people especially during these hard times. We will still give them a try cause you just made it sound to good to pass up but I think we will stay away from the fresh fish. Mahalo again.

    Great advice on asking the price if its " Market Price" . Never assume anything at a Chinese place. the way they presented the duck was very traditional. meat and wrappers, rest of the meat stir fried with veggie and then soup made with the carcass. order the deep freid intestines or intestines with sour veggies. We had both last time and they were awesome

    All due respect to the restaurant, but that is not the way to carve Peking Duck. Properly carved, the skin should be cut off the breast without the fat. Then the fat should be scraped away from the breast with the blunt end of the knife. Then, the breast meat should be sliced into pieces. Both skin and meat then should be eaten with spring onion and hoisin sauce inside the pancake. Everything else looked quite good though.

    • @lasvegaseats702
      @lasvegaseats702  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I've heard that it takes years for people to learn how to carve a Peking duck. And they way it is intended to be eaten. Also, the open and closed oven method... fat should be rendered more making the skin more Crispy. But we're not in China, and I've seen people do their own thing, even in NY and SF. There are only 2 places I know of in Vegas that might do it better... but the prices can make you go bankrupt. Mott 32 at Palazzo and Blossom at Aria.

    Veggie dishes are almost $20 each. Really?

      I think about $17, and soups are $around $15. It's expensive. Orchids Garden is cheaper. But noticeable difference in quality. Rainbow Kitchen and TASTE are also good, but similar prices.
