Against a single enemy officer, I use auto-lock, making sure that my enemy does not get out of my attack sight while juggling them in the air. But against multiple officers, well it's hard to juggle them at once with auto-lock. So then I tried not using auto-lock and just let my character do the air juggling while I can. Sometimes I mess up, sometimes I hold onto these air combos against multiple officers. Hopefully it'll make sense in a way or two. Lemme know if you need more info or explanation for Cao Cao's air juggle. I'll do what I can to help out.

iirc my Slash Artifact setup consists of mostly Attack and Attack Speed (one of the gems include Defense +20 or so as well iirc). The attack speed can help for the Mengde (Cao Cao's courtesy name) Juggle. I once did it without the attack speed (I feel so slow after that lmao), but I'd advise against doing so. Hmm... when you start as a vagrant force, you need to make sure to have enough troop strength and rations in order to even the odds against the enemy territory you're attacking. Also, the more officers you have in your Vagrant, the better. Do keep in mind on your income and your supplies once you have created your own kingdom. You don't wanna be in a Disadvantageous or Inferior state during battles. Generic officers are fairly easy to kill compared to Musou officers, which take *a long time* to subdue. And yes, this is all on Chaos Difficulty. Also, for your Secret Plan Card setup, I'd advise you to choose a card which consists of: - Temporarily increase Attack - Restore own health or ally health (both heals you either way) - Cards that cost below 4 (because if you equip cards that cost 5 or 6, the cooldown will take wayyyy too long if you don't know what you are doing.) - Cards that reduce cooldown bar for those other cards that are on cooldown (For example: Taishi Ci's 'Fight Fair' card.) Just remember that there are no meatbuns to heal you in 9 Empires. The only way to heal yourself is with the 'Restore Own/Ally's Health' cards.
