I remember many moons ago walking into my local PC Gaming store and there were multiple guys having a local LAN match of this game. First time I ever saw it - was so long ago.
@@red244 Yeah thats true, the random element to it would preclude competitive play. it would be a cool gimmick feature that could be turned on or off, but cool wacky things like that make games novel and bring in new players, would be super sick for a campaign feature though.

That would be interesting but also slightly problematic I imagine for any pro scene to develop. Closest we have is Tiberium Sun (Ion storms).

Why can't I build a targeting facility on ta esc??
It got replaced by Upgrade Center which basically does the same thing + makes Commander ten times more resilient.
