I've listened a lot to Bob Larson since the 80's and I have questions about him and other exorcists such as these Catholic priest ones. For Bob to be saying that the mathematician genius (which the movie A Beautiful Mind was about) suffered from "mental illness" isn't telling the truth about it, because that man was suffering from demonic possession. Schizophrenia is always a demonic symptom. Why is Bob Larson dressed up with a robe and little bit of white collar showing through like a Catholic priest anyway? From what I can tell there's a lot of funny business and deception going on in so many of these types of ministries. It's challenging to know what's going on and why

SAME HERE- and 30 YEARS LATER still suffer the trauma. Can cover your eyes to not see, cover your ears to not hear- yet even when your eyes are closed the nightmare is still there. Cannot be unseen. I was 10 when I walked I to that room- unfortunately when she had the crucifix. I am convinced it’s your thoughts they can intercept and if not out there would have nothing to work with. I’ve not been able to shake that image or voice since. 10 years old and at 42 it still torments. That said not dumb enough to allow such into my mind again.

If Hollywood is accusing Nefarious is Christian propaganda under the guise of a horror movie then that's a movie for a Christian. The movie got a 97% from the audience but Rotten Tomatoes gave it 31%? That says a lot. Just my personal opinion.

This movie helped me realize how important Ephesian 6 is when it comes to spiritual warfare. What I got from this movie is to further study and memorize scriptures to activate the sword of the Spirit. It also gives subtle hints that the Church has been hijacked by double agents. Not recommended for those that aren't fully matured in the Faith. Jesus Christ/Yeshua Hamashiach is Lord Amen!

Thank you for the warning , I used to watch horror movies for a long time . Not realizing how it affected me in a long run , I was terrified of the dark and exposing my feet while I sleep ...after I gave my life to Christ I stopped watching them and I'm total free of the fear . Jesus is King 🙌🏽🙏🏽

I read Fr. Amorth's book An Exorcist Tells His Story. I highly recommend it. He was an upbeat man, full of good humor, positive, fully trusting our Lord. I was expecting a book full of fear and horror but instead felt inspired and encouraged to stay obedient to the Lord and avoid habitual serious sin. I would read it not out of curiosity of what the devil can do, but rather to learn how to avoid picking up evil spiritual attachments in your own life. To learn what causes vulnerability, and how utterly destructive they can be if you don't repent from what you did to expose yourself. Also you learn about the extreme power and mercy of the Almighty. Every Christian should read this so they recognize when their loved ones need help and how some of the behaviours that are "popular" in society can open you open to oppression and possession. Possession itself was very rare but it's not necessary in order for demons to afflict people with mental issues, deep depression, suicidal thoughts and even violence. Their goal is to invade, penetrate and completely destroy. Keep in mind that the church always does everything possible to rule out mental illness. Read the book, you'll end up being inspired and having deep admiration for Father Gabriel Amorth and the power of God.

I can agree with most of this, but not 100%. When I was a teen, my mother suffered a lot spiritually and was so desperate to the point that she prayed the hardest I had ever seen her pray to get delivered of her demons. God allowed it to happen. My brothers and I were caught off guard when she started laughing hysterically. Not a Holy Spirit filled laugh but a dark demonic laugh. The atmosphere changed negatively. So my older brother held her down and I called my pastor immediately, because we knew right then and there what we were dealing with. As we were there, my "mother" started telling us to let her go and that she has always hated us, kept telling us to let her kill herself, etc. It was like nothing I'd seen before personally. I asked who the demon was, and the demon said "I am hate", so we started praying over her for about 3/4 hours until she threw up and regained control of her own body. Since I've only experienced a demonic possession one time in my life, I can only speak on this. It's certainly case by case. You can't say "x never happens", because it possibly can. She was not strong or crawling on walls or anything crazy like that, but I don't doubt that they can do that. If you ever encounter that, you just shouldn't show fear or doubt, because God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are with you.

A trailer for this movie popped up when I was doing an exercise video here on TH-cam. No creepy music lead in or anything…just bam! My kids were in the room with me when this sick zombie kid threw up a deformed heart-like organ! Totally demonic and terrifying, even just the few seconds my children saw before I yelled for them to close their eyes and I could turn it off. My son literally ran out of the room. They had trouble sleeping for the next week. You are right- this kind of “entertainment” is bad for our souls.

Vlad is so right about watching horror for entertainment. I’m a new Christian and I used to have terrible nightmares. I accidentally stumbled on a TH-cam channel with a spirit box session and as soon as I realized what I was going on, you can bet I renounced it (even though it was accidental) and asked for forgiveness because I never want to be without the protection of God again. No way.

I saw it. The previews beforehand we're demonic as all get out! So I don't recommend going and sitting down until the previews are over. Viewing it as a spirit-filled Christian gave me eyes to see it in a different light. I went with a very godly friend of mine and we both have studied deliverance ministry. We conversated afterwards about what this would accomplish for The body of Christ and how unbelievers would take it. It was well done, but we both agreed that we wish there was a more redemptive element to it, because salvation through Christ was not a theme in this movie.

I watched the movie because my dad brought me in the movie house without me knowing what movie he chose. I had no choice but to watch 😢and since then I had nightmares every night not knowing how I had it. But because of this video, I think I know now from where my nightmares came from. I watched this and actually learned a lot from it. I see it as an educational movie for the spiritual, but my sisters just keep on laughing at me. What truly made my goosebumps rise was the 1st quote it showed wherein the devil greatly rejoices when people refuse to acknowledge his existence. At that time, I was focusing more on life and has been avoiding anything that has relations with topics of demons and negativity. That quote woke me up so my senses were at high all throughout the movie and was able to capture even the littlest details.
After watching the movie, I am more than prepared to deepen my relationship with God.
So true the biggest lie the devil ever said is telling the world he doesn't exist. But we believers in Christ know better. "Do not be ignorant of the devil and his schemes."

It baffles me beyond comprehension that Hollywood has to forcefully put the devilish spider-walk scene in each and what every movie involving demonic possession. A clear cue straight from the Exorcist.
What happened to that era when America released films praising Our Lord Jesus Christ? To name a few examples: The Bible, King of Kings, Jesus of Nazareth, etc.
My favorite is the all time classic Ben-Hur (1959). I absolutely loved two important scenes from that film:
1. The actor interpreting Jesus giving water to drink to the character of Ben-Hur.
2. The character Ben-Hur returning the kindness when attempting to give water to the actor representing Jesus Christ on his way to be crucified.
That film has the pressence of Jesus Christ in those two key moments.
Now, just look over the past 50 to 60 years, and how the American film industry has morally declined and degraded.
Over the past 10 years Hollywood pumps demonic, haunting, ghost films one after another.
I'm from Mexico, and I can tell you there isn't a single week that everytime I check my cinema there's at least one film dealing with the demonic released Per Week and Coming from U.S.A.
I'm Catholic, and we have been told not to bother with this movie, that it does not do justice to Father Amorth. Nefarious, however, is highly recommended. Sean Patrick Flanery does an excellent performance as the possessed convict.

The film is actually making the audience realize how the devil works in us without us knowing. The opening of the movie literally mentions that the denial of the existence of the devil makes them happy and powerful because they can work with ease. SMH.

I actually saw it and I'm Catholic. I actually laughed a lot because of graphics and the exaggeration of effects, especially exploding ones. It had potential to be as good as the first Exorcist but nope. Didn't get scared one bit and the first one still creeps me out. Honestly, if the creators would have gone a more "natural looking" and focused on jump scares, it might have disturbed me but, meh at least it was a good laugh. I did feel bad for the boy, he looked so skinny and sick, so yeah if it were focused on realism it would have been a great movie, experience and would still be traumatized to watch it again for example The Conjuring movies.

I had someone from work watch this movie. All he said was “he watched it” he did not tell me anything about it. After work I drove home and I felt a spirit follow me home late at night. I got home and fell asleep as I was nearly into a deep sleep I felt something slap me over my body I immediately jumped up! I started to play the Bible on my phone out loud and I fell asleep peacefully. Please don’t watch these types of movies!

The original exorcist movie is based on a true story which makes it very evil! I became a born again Christian late in life after 30 yrs of the Occult.. I am trying to warn other Christians to just stay away from things of the Occult including movies. Every Halloween I don't celebrate it instead I pay for people behind me in the drive thru and give them a gospel trac. I had fought a call to be involved in deliverance in the Church and was stunned by how much negative remarks I rec'd by some people in the Church. To tell the truth I had to really work hard on forgiving people for the things that they would start to spread about me. There were YEARS between when I knew this call was on me and my actually begin that Ministry just from the negative responses from Believers in the Church. Now I don't see it so much as a Deliverance call in my life but instead it is the Ministry of Reconciliation because that is what you are doing with the deliverance - you are helping that person be reconciled to Christ and to his/her brothers and sisters in the Church. The first time I saw just a tiny bit in a Trailer on the movie "The Pope's Exorcist" my thoughts were "Yes, I KNEW something evil was coming because I had begun to see in the spirit the evil activities and people who are struggling with the demonic." I knew something horrible was happening because demons LOVE the attention and can't seem to hold in their excitement when they think they may win the next battle." The town I live in is just FULL of demonic activity. It centers mostly around drugs/addictions and drug dealers (some very violent) and there is NO EFFECTIVE CHURCH here. My own brother died in June 2020 from a drug O/D where the drug was laced with Fentanyl. In 2004 I had a step-brother who also died of a drug O/D in Victoria, BC. So. bless you for pour teachings and your video's. May the power of the Holy Spirit be upon them and deliver anyone who watch them!

I don’t watch ANY scary movies from Hollywood. I have not for many many years. I had nightmares after watching a movie years ago with a priest who got possessed. There was a line he said in the movie as he turned to talk to someone and he was possessed and that was what scared me so bad! I was a grownup and I was like “never again”. It was many years ago but I can still see his face. My then husband thought he was being funny and repeated the line he said and I freaked out and was like “Why would you try and scare me

The signs you used as example for demonic possessions would be every Christian i know. Speaking in tongues. Afraid of religious icons rage, against the Catholic Church, hearing what they call the voice of god or voices in general, reciting false doctrine, claiming they have a spirit commanding them to do nasty stuff to others and out of fear and hate and they are never wrong etcetera, etcetera. I went and watched it as curiosity of deliverence (exorcism). And I agree with this guy. The drinking, lying, swearing, nudity, the suicide attempt, fear, the way they would repent of their sins, the priest was having a sexual relationship with a women etc etc. I agree it's an open door to the demonic. On our drive home I saw a horse and rider follow us ans it was demonic. My partner and I went into prayer and repented for watching it. 👀 then it left us. So I wouldn't suggest watching it and i agree with you vlad, so typical of Hollywood 🚫 I like what Todd white says - if my daughter can't watch it, I won't watch it. We should all have that mindset. when i was going out with a guy who owned a Necronomicon Book, I had sleep paralysis of a ancient demon [it was so old its hair was dusty] reaching its hand out to touch me. i couldnt move or scream i felt myself lifting up tworads it. I said JESUS CHRIST save me and I IMMEDIATLEY woke up. This stuff is not a joke. and sleep paralysis is 100% spirtual. it has not bothered me since.
When I was a teen, I started attending a youth group! That's when I experienced sleep paralysis! When you feel like you are being strangled all you can do is call out to GOD!!! I learned not to lay on my back as well. But, I still watch horror movies because I enjoy them, and know everything will be okay 🙏🏻

I love a good horror movie and psychologists have said that a good scream relieves tension.. Mostly I find them funny.. I used to watch the old Hammer horror movies. They all had one thing in common. Evil was overcome by good. Dracula was always defeated by Van Helsing. In The Devil Rides Out, the evil Satanist was defeated.. However, I recently watched a new movie. It was called ‘Smile’ and it got me thinking because I also watched ‘Drag Me To Hell’ and many other fairly recent horror movies and they all follow, more or less, the same theme.. Evil overcoming good. It is almost as if Hollywood is conditioning the masses to accept that the good and godly don’t stand a chance.. I find it very worrying..
Most Exorcism Movies show the affected person being delivered from the Devil. Sometimes the Exorcism doesn't work. It isn't an exact practice.
I agree, that it's Hollywood giving a narrative that the Devil is so powerful and you are helpless. Total lies, but put it into entertainment and you have people unconsciously persuaded by it.

Other Catholic exorcists I've listened to have been said that yes, often supernatural and unexplainable things happen during an exorcism. One priest even spoke about a man levitating out of his chair.
Vlad, I’m confused. How does the Catholic Priests have this authority? Can you elaborate? I’m not saying they don’t perform exorcisms, etc. Here he does use the name and authority of Christ, but is there a difference between a Christ Follower and a priest/friar. Those catholic priest exorcist use the name of Jesus, holy water, oil, crucifixes , rosary and tons of repetitive prayers to cast out demons. While Pastors only use the name of Jesus to cast out demons😂 Amazing right? hahaha.. Both are able to cast out demons but I can’t imagine how powerful those real pastors are.

They actually performed exorcisms, but they didn’t agree with charging money for them or the worship of idols. I think people put their hopes in the priests, when we have the Spirit of God. Yeah but I wouldn't also say that a Catholic priest is a good reference. Coming from a Catholic background and African, most priest are practicing another Jesus, not the Jesus of the Bible. And they always give you a long list of things to buy for deliverance. Special oil, special water etc. Their all the same.

We have to excercise caution when watching these types of horror flicks . A portal can open up and reach some of the people watching in the theater . I used to rush to the movie house whenever these type of movies opened . I did not know at the time that I in a way I was endorsing evil . Be cautious also when an exorcism is taking place on a regular paranormal tv show reenactment or an actual one . Demons can cross over to the place where you are .

The problem with these things is that certain people are weak, and there's nothing wrong with that. But as we know, those kinds of people need to avoid anything "scary" cause it opens them up, that *fear* is more cancerous than many other things.
There's nothing that makes you inherently vulnerable from seeing something spooky, but if you lack the conviction and connection with God, you're always vulnerable.
Hell, even those of us who believe we have ironclad relationships with the Truth are still vulnerable, its just that we have an armor 24/7 so the evils can typically only get us through "tiny" things, like death by 1000 papercuts. Slowly getting you to accept smaller "sins" until you are weak enough for a big one.
This movie may be trash, but people need to know that you shouldn't be afraid just from seeing something. That FEAR is the root of opening you up. Things *are* spooky to us as humans, but if you truly have a connection with the One, you'll find yourself strengthened and surprisingly calm when faced with darkness. Ask me how I know 😂😂 (rhetorical, but I DO know that first hand.)
Hollywood is filled with demons anyway. I grew up entrenched in that place. The irony is everywhere, the "City of Angels" being the most corrupted... the symbology, the open "sinful" behavior all the way to disgusting abuses.
It's funny too that any priest who openly criticized the church or the way they handled demonic "priests" who spread chaos and discord by wreaking havoc on children ends up being defamed. Amorth had grown disenchanted with certain things, and even broke one of the cardinal rules of the church with regards to exorcism when he allowed it to be documented, right before his death.
I got hired to work on the new netflix movie soon to be released about the Indiana "gateway to hell" house (can't remember the familys name but if you look what i said up you'll find it), and immediately felt uneasy. Not for myself per se, but just the whole fact that so many people working on it likely not only didn't believe but would probably mock such things. I don't know why but ignorant mocking of such powerful forces I just know gives them some power for some reason.
I only stayed for a couple weeks before it just ended up perfectly that I wasn't needed, was let go, and I found work on a different one. I felt so weird each day I went in like conflicted thinking that the money wasn't worth being involved on a project like that.
I'm OK working on scary stuff, but unless the story is about the triumph of people over demonic forces I don't think I'll ever care to be involved in any possession type film as they almost always, just like this movie, end up either not taking it seriously, or worse dramatize it to a point of disrespect
As a godly man myself, and someone who watched the movie myself, I disagree with so much of what this priest said. Here’s why. Firstly, if you’re looking for a extremely accurate story about Father Amorth and about God, this is not the movie for you, nor has it ever claimed to be. It’s rated R for goodness sakes. Horror movies are meant to be very loosely based off real life events or ideas, as well as characters are supposed to be loosely based off real people. This is first and foremost a horror and thriller movie, not a faith movie. Why people have the idea that this was meant to be some catholic movie is mind blowing to me. That’s like saying the conjouring films are supposed to be catholic films. They’re not. They’re horror films loosely based on real events. The Catholic Church was involved in these real events, so they’re involved in the films loosely as well. The “real” Father Amorth is not portrayed in this movie, nor is he MEANT to be. They like to link characters to real life people to garner interest. The real Father Amorth was white. This Father Amorth is Hispanic. It’s not the same person. It’s not meant to be the same person.
Here’s why I think this priest is spouting nonsense.
1- calling demons into a pig and then shooting it. This was one of the first scenes in the film, so that tells me in of itself this priest was not being open minded while watching this, but looking for reasons to hate it. The film makes it pretty clear that there was no real demonic possession in the boy who this tactic is used on. Father Amorth instead pretends he cast the demon into a pig and then killed the pig to convince the boy that the demon was dead. There was no demon to begin with.
2- Father Amorth cursing and too much language. Again, this is not a catholic movie. This is meant to be loosely based off a real story or concept. I’m sure demons would have no problem using the F word like this man complains about, especially if it knows it’ll bother the ones its tormenting.
3- “full” nudity to depict lust. Yep. Demons are lustful. As are men. You think a demon wouldn’t use guilt about their past lustful experiences against them?
4- “this demon is portrayed as powerful enough to destroy the Catholic Church. How ridiculous” no, the demon portrays ITSELF as powerful enough. That’s what demons do. Instill doubt against the father. All that’s said about this demon is they failed to cast it out many times before and so locked it up.
5- “they lie about Father Amorth taking a shot in stressful situations”. This is not a catholic movie. It’s not meant to be the real Father Amorth. It’s a character based off the idea of him. These scenes are meant for comedic relief.
6- “Father Amorth shouldn’t have become possessed!” Oh lord. Here we go again. He allows the demon to possess him to save the child who the demon is about to kill. Then he works together with his partner priest from within to cast out the demon for good. It’s just supposed to display sacrifice and show he cares for these people enough to sacrifice himself.
7- this priest actually finishes this rant by saying “you can see why this movie was inspired by demons”. Wow. I had no idea. It’s not like the entire premise of this movie is about demons or anything. My goodness.
I understand disappointment if you thought that this movie was going to be a good catholic story accurately portrayed. But to call this movie evil is a little excessive. It’s a good movie. Actually, it’s a really good movie. The issue you’re having is that you’re not the target audience but you want to be. It’s rated R for goodness sake. Did you really think it was a movie about Catholicism?
To be quite honest none of these modern day demon movies scare me at all. Even though I do kind of enjoy certain horror/sci-fi movies. When I was a kid I was afraid of the dark and I had a fear of slasher movies like actual people. But supernatural movies have never scared me. As a Christian I am aware of the boundaries I need to set when it comes to ingesting certain things into my mind, body and spirit. But I know that my Lord and savior Jesus Christ covers me with his blood and I fear no evil.
They don't scare you because you don't know what follows you after that. But if you saw the spirit world you would see watching these things brings entities into your life and unless you repent they will stay there. Just like witchcraft in movies. Try fasting for a few days and you might see what I'm talking about. Its not about how scarry the movie is, its about what it brings with it.

The blood of Jesus doesn't cover something you willingly do that have the potential to open up a door for bad spirits. You need to repent in Jesus name.

I’m 59 years old and I was raised in the Catholic Church. Charismatic Catholic church. In the early 2000s I started going to a nondenominational church and started reading more of God’s word and about 10 years ago. I started getting revelation from that word and put the Lord. But I have no regrets and what I have learned in the Catholic Church, because I learned how to worship the Lord I raising my hands, prostrating myself, before the Lord laying hands on the sick, speaking in tongues. But sadly, this charismatic church only was allowed to hold services once a month. I am now rooted in a good Bible, believing spirit filled church. It’s so sad how entertainment chooses to entertain the devil rather than bringing glory to God. I’m so happy you made this video, and I’m so blessed and grateful for what my Lord Jesus did for me and for all who believe. God bless you brother.

What were your thoughts on the exorcism of Emily Rose movie? It was a bit out there with the “manifestations” but at the same time had an overwhelming theme of Jesus and pointing to and glorifying God.
That was a good one and very realistic. One father said that was a good representation of an exorcism.
The exorcism of Emily Rose is the ONLY movie in the horror genre that actually scared me watching it. The way they made her look possessed and the voices it was very scary. I owned the movie, and last time I watched it crap started happening in my apartment. After that, I threw it away. I can handle any horror movies, even very gory ones, but I will not touch this movie again.

There is a exorcist priest in the Nashville that had an extensive interview with Michael Knowles. It was extremely interesting and there are a lot things he does that is the same as what we do. Not everything I agree with, but he is definitely making an impact on the Kingdom of God.

Wow that's really surprising to hear Bob Larson say that people can't fly through the air during deliverance! Well maybe it's just never happened to him but I witnessed it with my own eyes! First time I ever saw deliverance and this 400 lb lady sitting back in the chair was expelled from the chair flew up off and out of the chair onto her stomach and when she hit the ground blood flew out of her nose! She was okay and I believe she got free. That's when I knew how real all this was
So what would you say about other Catholic Priests who are being interviewed here on TH-cam that claim they have experienced "crazy" things such as those from the movie while conducting exorcisms?
He just said that yes there are some cases where priests experience that when performing exorcism but holywood as usual overdramatise and dont do justice to what any exorcist priest really experience. Because Holywood just want entertainment and profits from it

What people mostly not understand is that a movie could affect us, from mindset or mentality. Evil spirits could use any movie to give us wrong mindset, wrong belief.
I'm not a fan of horror movies but there are horror movies that I'm okay to watch, for example is Dead Silence or Conjuring.
Honestly, I was planning to watch The Pope's Exorcist. I pray about my plan and "something" tells me not to, and it'd be better I watch something else. I'm still curious and wants to see, but I kept reminded better not to watch it so I decided not to. I only watched John Wick 4.
Then here I am, I suddenly found this video of yours suggesting not to watch. Pardon me, Pastor. I honestly kind of see this video as a simple movie review with warning. But I also see your video as an affirmation for me, that the movie could be bad for me.
If I watch it, I might end up having nightmare or feel uneasy after watching it. God knows me, God knows how I am about horror movies so He prevents me to see things that is bad for my mind.

Seen the previews to this movie, no thank you. Years ago when I was a new Christian I came across a program at the time called Bob Larson , he was and may still be on the Miracle channel. As his show started, nothing more freakier than Bob Larson showing a scene from The Exorist ( her head spinned around) that scene made me jump out of my skin. I can relate to a lady her comment about her horrible ordeal with her seeing a scene from the exorcist. I had a similar situation at 14 years of age reading this demonic book, with pictures of her in it. That scene that Bob Larsen showed just opened up a can of worms. Also in one of his shows he was hitting some possessed person on the head with his Bible really? I need it say more, you get the drift.
I've seen some of Bob Larson's sessions and I couldn't hardly believe it. He also charges like $500 to cast demons from someone. That's crazy.

Then a few ladies came up to me from my church and asked if I would come to one of their houses for prayer. It was a about 30 miles away and I didn't have the gas to make it. When I told them that they filled my car up. Then I went over and they prayed over me several hours. It was amazing and definitely God ordained. Seeing someone charging so much after that experience rubbed me the wrong way! I definitely needed deliverence but was so broke I couldn't even afford gas! I can imagine it being pretty tragic to know you have demons but have to pay a bunch for prayer!

I'm confused. The movie is about someone being possessed by a demon that would make it demonic. Unless you mean it will expose you to demons in the real world.
They mean it could open the door to demonic energies around you because the movie is based in lies and showcases a lot of sins.
The movie was pure nonsense. And Hollywood is just doing the films so unnatural
I am not saying that I support the movie, but anything that says "BASED on a True story" does not mean it is detail by detail as it is from real life.
I have to wonder if this movie is not an attempt to humiliate and silence this priest. Pray for Russell Crowe because he is dangling over the eternal depths for aiding and abetting the devil.

😮 I was just searching for the documentary Father Romana - as you recommend. And this horrible Hollywood film popped up. I immediately said I am not watching that. I have avoided horror films since early teens. My parents allowed me to watch many horror films as a child during the 80's. No way would I let a child watch horror films. I am careful & so thank you for sharing Reverend Bob Larson says.
