Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2014 Nissan Serena S-Hybrid five door MPV with the 2.0 litre MR20DD naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 145hp/147PS and an electric motor paired to a CVT in the Highway Star trim.
Below is the list of current Serena S-Hybrid five door MPV variants available in Malaysia as of 31st July 2017. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Tan chong added this loud beep when locking & unlocking which makes it sound cheap. Probably gonna disconnect that soon so can hear the original Nissan sound.

Bro, in your opinion do the second row seats feel quite low for your height? Well personally I am around 171cm and when I sat in the newer C27, well the headroom and legroom is as good as you experienced in this C26. But however I find that the middle row seats are really unsuitable for our height because they are just so low. I thought that due to the tall ceiling, the seat height would be favourable. But however I was sitting on quite a low 'stool'.

Is the steering switch in this car is retrofitted with other nissan model?
Yes. The steering wheel audio controls (the controls on the left spoke), are not standard. The owner of this Serena had them fitted.

They're from different categories so it wouldn't be a fair comparison. The Toyota twins are more of a large MPV while this is more to the mid-size category.

Estima is larger than the Serena but smaller than the Alphard/Vellfire. As mentioned in the video, the main competitor to the Serena from Toyota is the Noah.

If its a hybrid why does it make noise wnen it start like my chryler pacifica plug in hybrid does not make noise when it start
It's not a 'full' hybrid like a Prius or your Pacifica which can run on electricity alone or a combination of the electric motor + the engine. This is the facelifted model, so technically, it's not the same car. I like to upload the pre-facelift and facelift videos side by side so my viewers can have an idea on what's changed.
