James', "You stoopid" showed how he just couldn't contain his laughter at Will any longer. lmao
Fun fact, Avery's laughter was genuine in the last scene, Will's antics cracked him up and had him laughing and dancing at the same time, making the scene all the more outstanding.
+Tom Branch James Avery was like a real Uncle to Will Smith both off and on screen...hence the great chemistry between the two
Ghost the scene about wills father walking Out wasn't & isn't real . he has talked about his father having a awesome roll in his life . will smith is just a phenomenal actor.
James Avery really looked like he enjoyed that last scene with Will.
So sad to watch this again knowing that he is no longer with us but also happy that he provided us with such undeniable entertainment.
R.I.P. Big Guy
Elliott Shaw yea he did. Fun fact the laugh was genuine. Will was a natural comedian.
That “You stupid” line at the end had to be done off the cuff lol he looked genuinely happy. Always gonna miss Uncle Phil 🙏🏾
"Uh, everyone out of the pool!" lol
Seemed like the ones that laughed at that did irl. I could by Hilary's face
uncle phil's laugh is pure hapiness
leonidas godlike your comment should be pinned at the top. That's exactly how I feel watching this
What got me laughing was when Will started dancing and said “C’mon, Moose, let that caboose loose!”
That last scene was probably unscripted, which made it even better!
It most definitely had to have been, that "stupid" and his laugh sounded so genuine
I love how Will always eagerly jumps in and starts dancing along with people, whether they want him to or not.
The end was so precious 😣😣 he was like "Boy you so stupid" and was just cracking up 😂❤❤

The chemistry between Will and James was always amazing; makes you wonder which scenes they enjoyed best. Ones with Will in trouble with Phil or ones where Uncle Phil is Will's Father figure.
That scene where Will cries about his dad leaving again. Remember that one?
@@davidb9474 A well acted scene despite the fact that it screwed over everything that happened before in that episode.
@@davidb9474 It still ruined the episode as a whole just to hit the reset button and keep Will in Bel-Air instead of traveling cross country with his dad. That fourth wall breaking in Season 5 where NBC execs literally kidnap Will from Philly and bring him back was less damaging than that.
"It's called the swim Ashley, it was very popular in the 1940's".😂😂😂

That comment she made and every other dumb thing she says is a running gag on this show and it makes me wanna tell her how stupid she can be at times, but the actress played her character so well on this show!!
I love that will that Will gets carried away dancing in the second scene. He's not making fun of Uncle Phil, he's just joining the fun.
@2:14 James to Will "you stupid" 😂😂😂 they were organic asf. Rest in peace Uncle Phil.
you can get back in town for the first one is for a few milk a day please see
this video makes me so happy..rip james avery
+Ignacio Varga I almost fell in tears with this video! This video means happiness
R.I.P. Black television
Good Black television. My favorite shows were The Cosbys, Roc, A Different World, Martin, Living Single, The Bernie Mac Show, My Wife and Kids, Family Matters and The Fresh Prince.
More like R.I.P television in general. The 70's-90's was the golden age
I love how happy Will gets when he comes in the room at 1:27
I like that part too. But i wish the whole family can in and danced.
lol I think uncle Phil came out of character when he said stupid lol
He did, supposedly that whole scene was unscripted, it was something that will randomly did at the last moment and it had uncle Phil cracking up that he broke out of character and also because of his laugh.
That last scene is one of those scenes that is just completely unforgettable. This show was always able to make you laugh, smile or cry with relative ease.
That last scene when hes laughing and says "youre stupid " was such a genuine moment he was enjoying every moment of it☺ man R.I.P Uncle Phil
Will’s impulse to immediately jump in on a good time is how I strive to live my life.
Man that last scene was amazing! You really could tell James Avery’s laugh was genuine.
Aww R.I.P. James Avery aka Uncle Phil--I feel as if that very last clip was genuine fun between the two.
Everybody needs an uncle Phil figure in their life
"Certainly not dust" 😂😂😂

Yeah Geoffrey always complaining about something. He got on my nerves sometimes. 😂 😂 😂😂.
1:56 James reaction to Will is the best part. 😆
rest in peace Uncle Phil.
R.I.P. James Avery.
1:22 uncle phil can move. The other actor couldn't keep up. I loved how they both stopped and looked at will acting a fool 🤣🤣🤣
wish they could have done a reunion show before he passed away it would have been epic he will be missed by many around the world still love watching the re-runs on t.v
Salute to James Avery man... the father figure damn near every kid wanted lol. rip bruh ✊
Who else always looked forward to Uncle Phil throwing Jazz out?
That one time Jazz threw Uncle Phil out was one of the funniest moments on the show.
I agree, @@dirkwalker9686 . Same when they threw Jazz out into the backyard and then threw the Cosby Cardboard Cutout. I also thought it was great when Jazz got thrown out in the final episode Will says Uncle Phil beat "his record"
I haven't watched the show in years, but wasn't there a time where Uncle Phil threw Jazz *in* the house?
1:55 James Avery's laughter while dancing with Will at the end is priceless.
This show was pure joy.
back when black television was good
Charapheal Bridgewater I'm 17 and even I know this is true. I watch Fresh Prince every summer and I love it
Almost 60 years later and this song is still great 🔥👏💕🎉
I love this song too and plus I'm Facebook Friends with actor Terron Brooks who played Eddie Kendrick in The Temptations Movie 😁
The song came out in 1966 - your math is way off. Its only been 50 years..and not even that much when you posted that comment.
The second skit when will joins in with that hoppin on one leg, grinning and wavin his arms cracks me up everytime...hahaha
Rip to my childhood,TV,Uncle Phil & the90's!
I know everyone makes fun of Uncle Phil’s weight but the dude got rhythm
I love the Will - Uncle Phil relationship, it was beautifully played by both actors with a great script for every episode, a wonderful blend of comedic moments intertwined with genuine love and emotion. Great show, I miss the 90's!
Uncle Phil was such a huge part of my childhood. I had a lot of struggle with my father growing up and uncle Phil became like a father figure to me even though he was just a character in tv. It was a real shame to see him go. R.I.P James Avery
RIP Uncle Phil!
Mike Mauldin , Totaly Agree with You Glad that Eveyone Can Watch this .James Avery what was Thinking a Very Good Actor .Love tat this is at TH-cam ,andthe Music is Fantastic and this is Amzing to Look at James Avery . Ally Dones. You do know I met him in person was at a party and I met his Renee was the girl that was in the purple dress
"I didn't teach you to dance like that!" HAHA!
I love how Uncle Phil and Ernest stop dancing and Will just keeps on going @ 1:41 LMAO!!!
This song is timeless!
I love how whenever Will enters a room and other people are dancing he immediately just joins along.
Who doesn't love to watch Uncle Phil laugh and dance? Thanks for the memories James ❤️
You could imagine just how fun it was to film these episodes :D best sitcom ever.
Love the final scene. Uncle Phil always had Will's back but also important to remember that Will would also always be there for Uncle Phil too. Proper family
Man that last clip gave me goosebumps cuz the lyrics makes sense since james avery past away. He was actually my favorite character aside from will and carlton of course. RIP
The whole family will always cherish the fun times they had with James may he rest in peace
Well, I'm not a 90's kid, but I still love this show! Truly a classic! I love the Temptations too! "I KNOW YA wanna Leave me, but I REFUSE to let ya Go!"
R.I.P James Avery!
Everybody out of the pool. 😂😂 I love this show.
Probably the best comedy on uk tv in the 90s. It was a breath of fresh air 💖
The clap is legendary with Will and uncle Phil. He was feeling that and it lives in our hearts. The father that led a young man into life.
You better get it, James! 💙💙 The Temptations just make your SOUL happy!
That last one makes me miss James Avery so damn much. Wish he could have been there for the reunion that Will set up that he even got Janet to show up for!
uncle phil had some moves lol
it always good to see will and uncle happy together
This would rank at the top of my list of favorite Fresh Prince moments next to the Las Vegas dance competition with Will & Carlton.
You were the man Uncle Phil.
That last scene is how we all felt about Uncle Phil leaving us.
That last part made me smile! RIP, James Avery!
I like how Will comes in and sees Uncle Phil and Ernest dancing and then he starts busting a move.
Uncle Phil’s laugh and smile at the end ❤️
The last scene was the best. It's always great when Will and Uncle Phil have those father son moments where they can bond -especially given Phil told one of his only friends to get lost after risking getting Will in trouble.
"C'mon Moose, let that Caboose loose!!", LOL
Love the last scene!!!!! RIP Uncle Phil!!!!!
every time I listen to the temptations I always say "uncle Phil's song" RIP UNCLE PHIL.
best Dance ever
The best aunt viv Ever!!!
Seeing them dance always makes me happy.
Replayed this video like a million times and breaks my heart even more than Uncle Phil no longer with us to laugh anymore. RIP to this Legend 😿
that last scene is one of the best pay offs to an episode, it’s always gratifying to see how far their relationship had come
I miss these shows … they don’t make them like this anymore … Miss you Uncle Phil 🙏
i love will and uncle phil relationship when they get along
James Avery what a legend and great role model
This is so funny, never gets old. Like the last scene!
I will never get over the Fresh Prince and all the cast they are and will always be amazing and a part of my life.
sweet and cool uncle Phil...loved and missed.
I love the last part with Will and Uncle Phil. Classic!
I miss you uncle phil.
Rest easy 😇❤❤
James Avery gave us wonderful moments. Thank you uncle Phil, we will always love you!
This is beautiful. I enjoy Fresh Prince of Bel air so much. It's crazy how kids of my generation will never understand how great this show was. When I have kids I'm going to show them this show and if they are anything like their old man they will love it as much as I do. Just gotta find me a fine honey to get BBQ and get busy with 😂😂. Long Live His Royal Freshness
i really really love the last scene
I don't think anyone had more natural chemistry than Will Smith and James Avery, that laughter at the end was so genuine and pure
Why do i feel so most nostalgia for a show that was done before i existed. Birthed my love for Will.. Miss you Uncle Phil #RIP
So beautiful, we need this in every family.
Will makes everything just that little bit funnier hahaha what a LEGEND!
This was great acting and the way the music can pull that out if a person is amazing and Will and Avery together was perfect
RIP JAMES AVERY. You were such a powerful actor. I enjoyed watching you on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. You always put a smile ☺ on my face. I will always keep you in my prayers. God has his angel 😇 back in heaven. 🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤
We all need a uncle Phil in our lives R.I.P uncle Phil
R.I.P. UNCLE PHILLLLLL
Here in Brazil Fresh Prince in Belair was a success, a series rich in social criticism, moments of comedy and a fantastic soundtrack, it has been part of my life to this day 😎🤞🏾🇧🇷 thank you
I grew up more with this family than the Cosby family in my childhood. It was fun watching the episodes when they were so young. RIP James Avery. He's my kind of father!
If that last scene doesn't put a BIG smile on your face, you need to find your lost humanity.
the candidates were trump and hillary instead of bernie sanders humanity is dead because trump's going to be our president :(
lol 20 years from now you will think back on this comment and cringe at how naive you used to be. Trust me, I do it all the time :P
Im Not Cameron you're completely right. I've been having a shitty day but that scene made me so damn happy
Im Not Cameron Right!!! THIS COMMENT!! REALEST COMMENT EVER!!!
