if you are wondering why they are going in different directions is because you put the clips into the molding and snap them into the car. you dont slide the molding onto the clips.
There's a special tool sort of shaped like a 2 prong fork use to pop them out then attach them to trim strip turn to lock them on then snap the strip back on
Good job! You remind me of me. We may be a little slower than the men, because we go step by step carefully, and ta-da! We can do it to. 😊 Looks awesome!
Mine popped off but the clips did not break , how do I get it back on?...the two end clips popped off the trim , I just want to pop it back on ?..any idea ?
Look at how you would have to get it back on. If your slots are going in different directions as mine were, u might have to break a couple of them as I did in the video. They are tricky. Good luck.
I will not use glue or tape of any kind EVER!, Unless it had it from factory and then I will only use the same it originally had. I think you should have at least told us what car this is.

Been looking for this answer. Thanks
Thanks for documenting this whole process. Very informative
Great Job, I had one clip that had popped off. Your video helped me see how the clip looked and worked. Thanks so much!!
So glad🤗
Did you consider popping out the old clips, buying new ones, putting them in the trim slots then popping the trim with its clips into the door holes?
Yes, but they were extremely hard to get off and it looked like it would even harder to put new ones on. Unorthodoxed way, but it worked🤣
Very informative video, thanks for sharing this.
Great job on your fix! Congrats on 1.2K as well! 👊
Thx so much & thx or watching!😀
