We take a look at DDPAI's newest dashcam release the N5dual. This is a 2 channel dashcam, 4k UHD front and 1080p full hd rear camera. After a few weeks of testing we highly recommend this dashcam based on value for money, picture clarity, new radar tech, EMMC storage and ease of install (self install) with the intelligent hardwire kit. As tested the N5 dual (with radar and hardwire kit are optional extras) is approx $250aud.

I was gonna get the rear camera for my blackvue separately, but Amazon gave me 50% off for this (so $150) and it seems more advanced overall while also coming with the rear camera. Plus i really wanted one with an OBD hardwire too.
I'll mothball the blackvue for now. I was certainly impressed with this one.

Finally hey can you tekl me , my Bluetooth is connected and pair but csnt access the device settinfs , keep saying no device found Searching for devices
How did you get in ? I tried deleting and readding
Bluetooth connected Red on the app but can't explore and see if the camera is actually on
I had no issue connecting at all with samsung s23 ultra. Ensure you dont have a vpn or connecting to car wifi (headunit) may also need celluar data on as well

Can this be played into head unit realtime?
This model does not have a seperate av/out (only the power in on the mount) so the unit can be only powered or av/out at different times with the standard setup
I have some issues with logging in to the app with my phone.
There has been an upgrade recently do you have the latest version? I must say that for the video im using the s23 samsung and not any issue at all connecting or using the app
Is it possible to remove the watermark?
You are able to choose what timestamp you want displayed
When you hit save does it record 10 seconds or more before you hit save? The one thing I hate about Blackvue is when you hit save it only saves from then on.
This dashcam loop records, so it is recording continously while driving - if an event occurs or g sensor activates the recording goes into different folder - not sure if i answered your question peter

Type C power usb cable is 3.5mtrs long. Front to rear camera cable approx 6m.

No physical button to lock video - has voice command to take a photo! I used this feature to locate the files i wanted to checkout later (via photo timestamp) however that doesnt save file into a seperate folder

A firmware update was released after I filmed the video, be sure to update it via app when you get it all connected 👍 enjoy!

The AI radar detects motion in parking mode, 3mtrs front and 4mtrs rearwards
