That WonderLiz shop looked legit though. I had no idea the Death Note exhibition existed. I’m also a huge death note fan and recently started listening to their OST’s again. So sick!! I don’t know anything about the once piece card game but I’ve always thought that the thing about card games based on shows or movies is that there’s only so many cards you can make. I don’t see it making it 20-30 years like Magic or Yugioh
Thought so too and thinking closer to 10-15 years but for sure the cards value is going to skyrocket as soon as the manga ends, which is looking to be in the next 3-5 years. Some cards are already going upwards of $1k. Not as much as YGO and Magic but as a collector, it's a good investment for mid level collectors.
What about pokemon?
Is Yugioh not somewhat based on it’s show/movies?

Synchro (last good one)
XYZ (cool but not necessary)
Pendulum (bad design)
All implemented from new anime seasons
- Reprints, New Art/Rarity, and Support for staple cards from the anime (Blue/Red eyes, DM/DMG, God cards, etc.)
One Piece has countless characters and moments that can still be introduced to the TCG after the Manga ends. Also, a remake of the anime is in production by WIT studio. So the series will still be relevant.
It sucks that Yugioh meta is convoluted to the point that it’s unplayable for goat/nostalgic players which drove me away from the game.

Do any of these shops have online shopping with shipping to the US? Looking for loose Japanese packs and it's been rough hunting them down. 🥹
Depends on what your looking for? Strictly has some of the older OCG packs on his site. I used eBay and buyee to get the main packs from series 1, 2, and 3 but I started years ago before prices started climbing for them. It's not easy for shops to sell to the US because of customs declarations and taxes, and all that nonsense.
@@darkwyngraym It's mostly 5d's, zexal, and arc-v that i'm after. Every ocg set that contains a ghost rare, to be more specific, but just a single pack of each one for a binder
