Put a small piece of 2x4 under the kick stand. It will raise that frame up just enough.
Looks like a nice low mile bike, The lower forks are still shiny and not pitted. LOL. Same engine on my 07 Wide Glide, the old twin cam 96. Love it! Mine has 65k on it, runs like new.
This bike has only 30k on it and wasn’t ridden that hard. I bought it from a friend of that has an artificial right leg, I just love riding this bike.

Love the video brother. I took a look because I just bought the same lift from harbor freight. I think I got a service my 2008 ultra classic jiffy stand. It just don't feel right I got to keep my foot on the stand to make sure that things locked in. Anyhow I haven't rode my Harley much because of that. So I bought the harbor freight lift to get it up and inspect. The heavyweight Harley is new to me even though it's a 2008 Beautiful bike. Spent my life riding little 650 Honda nighthawk. Appreciate you showing how the harbor freight lift works. And appreciate your video. Good job. Keep up the good work hope to see more. 👍😎. In reference to the comment below about pitted forks mine are pitted this is a Florida bike. So I think the harbor freight lift will help and give me a chance to clean them up a little. Ride safe brother looking forward to some more videos. 👍✈️ As a side note, some people might think I'm crazy bought my first Harley. I been riding two heels most ove my life starting with a Honda 50 dirt bike back in the sixties got it when I was 10 years old. Bought it with my paperboy money. By the way I hope I can get my center of gravity right on the lift so it doesn't rock. I would hate this thing to drop on top of me. 🙀 Regards, Marko out.
I got used to the lift after using it for a while. If I have to put a lot of torque on something I just make sure the back tire is touching the floor.
Stand on the jiffy stand side and gently turn the pole or handle. Let it come down slowly.
Nice video. The aluminum frame of the jack is to flexible for the weight of the 8-900 lb bike. I have the other HF bike jack and does great with ultras from 2008 upto 20. Good luck with it. Can't wait to hear your long term review of the seat. I'm shopping for something comfortable to fit my 2022 Street Glide ST. Thanks.
I agree. I have the foot peddle Jake because it lowers smoothly and slow and it also has floor locks which aluminum one does not. Friend has aluminum one and likes mine alot better.
I was 50-50 on the choice of which one to buy. I’m used to it now.
Nice bike mark. I had a 09 ultra I loved that bike. Than I got into the lawn care business and sold it.
I bought one in 2019, got two used out of it. Today I strapped it on to remove front wheel and noticed it was off center. So I turned the release nut fully CCW and it wouldn't go down. I had to use an automotive floor jack and find a lift point so I could get the Harbor Freight jack out. Will raise but not lower, taking to a mechanic at work to see if he can fix, if not it's going in the metal scrap bin. Needless to say I didn't get to do what I intended, the morning was used up trying to get the bike off the jack.

Nice scooter not so sure about that Harbor Freight jack holding up my RGS, ride safe and enjoy life with that wind therapy. Blessings!
The jack is great for standing it upright to work on most things, I am getting to where I am trusting it more.
The other HB jack is alot more sturdy and has floor locks
I have the same jack my bike does not rock forward to backwards like that

The jack still sway’s, If I have bolts to loosen or tighten I have the bike sitting on the tires enough to keep it from swaying.
I don’t even think about it anymore, it’s just an automatic thing now and don’t take long to raise and lower.
@@Marksmisfitworldtry the Jack resting on the locks. I’ve seen that may help. Just bought the same Jack so I haven’t tried it myself as of yet

Be careful out there! Keep your head on a swivel. Too many butt reaming @-holez that don't give a d@mn about the people who ride!! I STILL have lasting effects from my accident in 2018.

Best to have a full tank of gas. It helps balance out the bike.
Just behind the bike stand for the jack man - - you do not have the bike on that stand right - I have the same jack and a 2022 Road Glide and do not have the rocking issues it's solid on my lift - you do not have it under the frame right - that seat should NOT be that difficult to get on Geeeeeeeezzzzzzz - their seats are W A Y to expensive and there are better issues available Mustang, Saddleman
