The Little Golden Alice book for your main journal & notebook for ephemera! Both books are darling. Either book you choose will look great. Cute tiger!
Howdy, Annette! Thank you! I like that idea! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
Take the binder wire off and use your other rings with the fabric ribbon to decorate and use the ephemera from the little golden book too I like that idea best. Have fun❤
I love the idea of using the little Golden Book as the journal and the notebook for ephemera. I’ve never created a journal but this has given me so many ideas for doing one of my own. You are so creative! I loved your water color fairies from the other day too. I mainly diamond paint but my interests run in a variety of directions, lol. From painting to crocheting. Resin molds to creating my own patterns and pictures for diamond painting. Thank you so much for sharing😊
Okay that is a hard question but I think the book as the journal and the notebook as ephemera. And somehow you have to use the dividers too, they are so cute!!! Rings, maybe?? I like your tiger page so far! Very relaxing tonight, take care!!! Hugs and❤
Howdy, Stone Soul Sister, Peggy! Yes, it is... but I think the LGB is getting the most votes so far! I will find a way to put those dividers into it, though! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
Howdy Possum Patty👋 The girl tigger is so cute, perfect with her red hat. The tigger would have made a good tuck spot….. can’t wait to see the finished page😊 What a cool Alice and Wonderland notebook. The little character tabs are especially neat!❤ Thanks for sharing.
Hi! I watched you on the tv and needed to get to my phone to say hi! Can’t wait to see you create a new journal. You have so many fabulous ones! This one will be wonderful no matter which you choose! ❤
Hi Patty, love your bright tiger spread to go with your Carnelian, oh to anything bright and sunny in these chilly NE days:) We are icy in the valley. Great choices for Alice and so many fun goodies, I'm leaning toward the Little Golden Book and like your idea of using the adorable notebook tabs and some pages in it. Good luck deciding:) Keep warm and cozy! 💗
Howdy, Neighbor Jill! Thank you! And thanks for voting! I may just have to go with the LGB. Stay warm... have some hot cocoa... it's nosehair-freezing cold today! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
OMGoodness I love both books! I look forward to seeing what you do and which one you use.Quote: "“When snow falls, nature listens.” - Antoinette Van Kleeff.Warm regards and peace from Lillian, Buddy, Rose, Lulu Ladybug, and The Pineapple County Gang. Namaste. 🐞💙🐞
Fun. I’ve been collecting Alice stuff too. I have her little golden book too. I went through some of my stuff and was working on the Christmas elf altered golden book too ❤I went through some of my stuff and found the book. I added pockets and ephemera. ❤
I arm leaning toward using the Little Golden Book as the journal and I like the idea of leaving the story intact stitched into the center of the journal. Those tabs of the Alice in Wonderland characters are so cute and colorful and will have to find a way into the new journal. Hoping you will be able to use lots of the Alice ephemera in both this journal and in the Tea Tuesday ☕journal as well.
Decisions to make 😊 I would use the little golden book as a journal and use the pages of the other book for other things. The ringband is soo (to) big for a journal. Bye bye ⚘👋🧚♀️👋
Howdy, Christine! Thank you for voting for the LGB! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
I agree with most of the other comments. Use the Little Golden book as a journal and use the notebook for ephemera. Those dividers were super cute, I hope you can find away to utilize them. 😁
It would be fun to see how a journal made with the spiral turned out. "Creativity is seeing the same thing as everyone else, but thinking of something different." By the way, it's freezing and snowing in SE Texas. They are predicting historical snowfall tonight through tomorrow. WooHoo!!! We have to enjoy it quickly because the temperature is rising back up to the 60's in a couple days.
I have a new divider notebook that is Winnie the Pooh themed like your Alice notebook. Since I have tons of Pooh paper and ephemera, I think I will make the notebook a journal. I’ll thin out the note paper as I go along. I like your cosmic smash idea too.
Tough choice! I noticed the spiral bound being a little tricky as you flipped through so I don’t think it will hold up to lots of flip throughs and additions. I think taking them both apart and creating a new binding is your best option. I only know about the travel journal binding (elastic), pamphlet stitch and ring binding. Are there other ways to bind that can incorporate the single pages of the notebook that have the cutout tops AND a signature of the LGB? Or could you create a page for a signature by taping two of the cut out top pages from notebook together and including the new taped together pages throughout your signature randomly? When I couldn’t find tyvec I used medical/athletic tape that was a woven material (tape you have to cut it doesn’t rip) from the dollar tree to stabilize my cover’s spine. I think you could use that to join two of the specialty cut out pages from the notebook together leaving just a bit of space between the pages that you could pamphlet stitch through. Either way I am sure whatever you create will be fun to see!
Howdy, Amy! Thank you for weighing in on this matter! Hmmm... I do like the idea of taking the spiral notebook apart and incorporating the fun dividers into the LGB. Just a bit of PAPER ENGINEERING needed! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
Howdy, Lovely Liane! Hmmm.... that thought had briefly crossed my mind. But I think I would quickly lose interest trying to do 2 at once... so I may still try to combine them together. Thanks ! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
Howdy, Kim! I do love the notebook... except for the spiral binding... and it's not the kind of notebook I usually alter into a junk journal... but I'll come up with an idea! Thanks! _“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”_ - C.S. Lewis HUGs ⭐️ Blessings & Bubbles🫧 for the New Year!
Oh another LGB journal, please! You have beautiful Alice ephemera.
Little Golden book with the other as ephemera.
Possum Patty, I Love your LGB journals ! This is so exciting. I can't wait to see what you do. Blessings and Bubbles ❤😊❤

Personally, I’d be inclined to make a journal from LGB but utilize the dividers and some pages from the notebook into it.

Use the golden book for the actual journal! 🥰

Definitely the LGB for the journal. It will be great. The notebook for ephemera.
