I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel at a trunk show held at Hays Sewing in Wilmington Delaware. Rachel is a delightful speaker. Her quilts are exquisite! Her Cape May pattern was a big hit. Her fabric line is beautiful. Naturally I bought some.
You are so generous to introduce us to a new designer. I hadn't heard about her fabrics except through you. Thank you. Love your videos and your quilts.
Your Cape May blocks are pretty. Thanks for introducing us to Rachel with the great interview! I'm impressed with her talent and inspiration, and I signed up for her newsletter, blog, emails. Happy Thanksgiving Pat and Gregg, all the Ambassadors, and all our Friends! 💞
Thanks for introducing us to Rachel. I had not heard of organic fabric - now I can't wait to try it. Her designs are gorgeous. Happy Thanksgiving and belated birthday Pat.
Hi Pat! Rachel is just darling! I looked at her site for the patterns & the Hover one-LOVE it!! She writes "a hover of hummingbirds". I told Randy ours at the cabin can be called "a storm" 🤣🤣 We have 4 feeders on the front porch & have had up to 20 at a time dive bombing each other!! I'm pretty sure I have to get that pattern 😊😊
Hi, Pat! It is exciting to see what the new and upcoming designers are doing and their thought processes while creating new fabric designs and patterns. I love the thought that my granddaughter will be able to buy sustainable fabrics for her future projects to share with her family in 30 years. 🥰
And a BLESSED THANKSGIVING to you and your family too. i enjoyed this video---how could i not??!! Will be looking into Rachels' website real soon. God's Blessings.
Great video today’s. The block that you are not happy with could be cut to a smaller square to get rid of the effect you don’t like. Then it could be used as your label on the back.
Happy Thanksgiving! Totally agree with your assessment of the block you are discarding. Glad you showed it as it gives us a visual of things to look out for.
Loved the interview! I hope more designers jump on the sustainable bandwagon! And the designs and subjects were spot on for it as well. Just may have to get myself some of this one. Thanks for highlighting this new fabric designer!
So glad you interviewed Rachel! As a quilter, I have an embarrassing amount of fabric stashed. Recently, I have been learning about the manufacture of said fabric and I am appalled and feel SO guilty about the consequences to our earth and the people who are employed to fulfill my "habit". I've heard a little bit about Organic fabric, but it is not usually talked about and I feel stuck, not being able to access a sustainable product. Yay, Rachel! I am going to be seeking her fabric and hope that she continues. Her prints are wonderful!
Yes I see what you are talking about on the block you don't like. Right away I see a design in it I don't care for either. I downloaded the calander yesterday, looking forward to Grandmothers Kitchen in January, printed out the info for it also, Baking pies today. Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

Happy Thanksgiving Pat, I’m Thankful for you, your creativity, laughter, energy, and optimism.
That's a great tip on trimming that block! 👍 I didn't realize you needed to trim 4 sides to keep the middle in place.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh I hope to find the taupe vases
👍❤️😊
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mr. Greg, Pat! I enjoyed your interview. Did I miss something? What is the 100 block thing?
Oh, wow! I clearly see why you don't care for the image that one block creates. Yep, break it apart or cut it up. Happy Thanksgiving!
Pat. What do you use for batting for a table runner or lunch cloth??
Thank you for all the information 😊
The unused block of Rachel’s fabric does make an “S” for Sloan Zone!
Do you Have a demo or information on the blocks on your design board?
Hi @James Durchenwald
Happy Thanksgiving 🥧
