@@OutOfTheBasement it definitely should have had the extra paint apps, the alternate hands, and the Gonk Droid, for the deluxe price. Typical Hasbro profiteering.

@@jeffmiller7071 honestly I bet hasbro makes little profit off the Star Wars line. The royalty fees are off the chart compared to other IPs. Some wrecker arrived two weeks ago he has been with me at all times. I can't get enough of this figure. The quality of the materials, the attention to detail and the smooth articulation makes this feel like an import figure.
Smooth articulation indeed! And for a larger character too, it's surprising how great the articulation is. Thanks for checking out the review, Paul! -Justin
I think he looks really good and accurate to the cartoon but with a "live action" twist. On top of this, it's a neat figure in itself, would look out of place as an alternative character in the game Doom or that role play game people play with Doom Guy type soldiers. I just love this figure.
Deluxe is stretching it indeed. He isn't even thaaaaat much bigger than the others. Still a great figure though! Thanks for checking it out, Dude. -Justin

@@OutOfTheBasement Alright, I was asking since I checked on EE and now all of my pre orders are expected to come January of next year (even the Ventress I ordered from January of this year) so I didn't know if EE is a lost cause or not.
I'm gonna be honest. I'm pretty disappointed in Hasbro's incompetence recently when it comes to making realistic versions of animated characters. When the figures that come out should technically be getting better, Hasbro keeps making bad and lazy decisions that don't really make sense. Due to The Clone Wars' animation, they were lazy with these Bad Batch figures. They could've made a great realistic clone commando mold, yet they make weird amalgamations of animated with a few aspects of realistic. Imagine a Hunter figure that used a realistic clone commando body mold. Even with non-animated characters, they tend to mess it up pretty bad. The new clones have the knee pads on the thigh, and have an elongated torso, with small shoulder pads, causing it to look extremely inaccurate and awkward. I really hope Hasbro does better in the future, since some figures are incredible, but others don't really hit either good or bad in certain ways.
To each their own, I think the Bad Batch figures that we have so far are pretty spectacular! I totally understand your points about consistency with the realistic vs. animated clones, but I'm such a big Clone Wars fans that I like having some clones on the shelf that are in that style. I don't mind it. The kneepad issue is definitely something that they need to fix though, it seems like such a simple fix too. Thanks for watching, Generic! -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement I personally find it pretty disappointing when Hasbro could be making molds that are both amazing and accurate. I've seen quite a few customized realistic Hunters that the Black Series just doesn't come anywhere close. Honestly, when you look at other 6 in lines, such as Marvel Legends, you realize that the Black Series has an obvious lack of consistency and continuity. Inconsistent trigger fingers (dual wielding when it only has one trigger finger), weird articulation, misplaced knee pads, using 3 different clone molds simultaneously, missing paint (clone brow line). If you look at Legends or any other Hasbro line, the designers don't make any of these same problems.
While I agree that hasbro is shamefully overdue with a republic Commando figure, which they could re release to infinity and beyond, this wrecker figure is true to the character on the tv program.
Easy pass for me! Wrecker is one of the most 'Disney-like' star wars characters yet. I feel he belongs more on some Pixar/Disney animation show rather than Star Wars.
If you guys really like this character/figure, then I am not going to rain on your parade, but I already own a Black Series Zeb figure from the Rebels animated show, so at this point any additional lovable-surly big-lug characters who function primarily as the muscle in their crew come across to me as a redundant storytelling trope in the broad context of the overall Star Wars saga.
Totally get your point, but the idea of a character playing the "muscle of the crew" has been done an infinite amount of times in the past, aside from Star Wars. If you're just talking Star Wars then I get it but I still love the Bad Batch so far and Wrecker! That being said I also love Zeb and Rebels as well. Thanks for watching, Daniel. -Justin
