- The 2nd 'new' route DLC for TSW3 at a whopping ass $40, "Bahnstrecke Bremen Oldenburg" is now available for PC & console. TSG, who makes some of the best rolling stock for the game had a hand in this add-on, yet the map is a scant 27 miles long there abouts. While a ton of previous rolling stock does layer in... is this new E10 class loco and cab car worth it?

The scenery at the Weser 20 years ago is correct in the game. All the new stuff you find today next to the Weser bridge were build in last 15 years. The red ship followed the school ship deutschland which is now located 10km further north. The building left hand is the location of Beck's. I think they build the scenery quite well. Nice crossings and the main topic is the epic 110 and other new stuff. Worth 36 Eur...at least more than Birmingham with its single machine. Best regards, like your videos!
This is why I watch your reviews sean you have no connection to DTG whatsoever and are American. I am really looking forward to testing Simrail tomorrow so much I have taken the day off work. A few things I did notice from what we have seen and heard from the developers of Simrail recently there is NO pop in of track shadows and detailing that is so so prevalent with every TSW3 route, the initial release of Simrail from end to end is over 4 1/4 hours and can be driven for the whole 4 1/4 hours non stop. They have multiplayer of sorts with someone being dispatcher which we know the Polish developers can already do thanks to "Train Driver 2" that I have tried but being most players are Polish the language barrier always put me off. I know SImrail wont be 100% right from the get go but Hey what a place we are starting from. I do have one concern - Price I fear this maybe just under £50 when it releases due to how much content we will be getting but in all fairness I am happy to pay that for what we have coming down the rails, Artful

First look at my home range: Very good, also based on the 2000s.
There might be a few mistakes, but you can look the other way. For example the advertisements in Bremen. They hang close to the platform and not on the station wall.
The railway bridge in Oldenburg is protected by a protective route, which actually means the main switch is out and the panto is down. It's a shame they didn't simulate it.
The target display at 9:40 in Bremen-Neustadt: Yes in the 2020s there are those with a running display and much smaller, but in the 2000s I dare to doubt that this display exists.
Delmenhorst-Heidkrug: Well implemented
Delmenhorst: Very well implemented, the ads also match very closely.
Hoykenkamp: Seems too modern for 2000s
Schierbrook: The train destination display NEVER exists: otherwise the train station is ok
Hude(Oldb): Well implemented, but one can argue about the train destination displays, again the small running ZZAs
Wüstig: Well implemented (see Hude(Oldb)), ZZAs are more on the building
Oldenburg(Oldb): VERY WELL implemented, the ZZAs are also correct

This is why I enjoy watching your videos and reviews. You don’t kiss ass with DTG and if it’s a bad route or locomotives you tell us it’s a piece of shit! The ones that do kiss ass will get early access to routes and locomotives plus they have their screenshots posted on the loading screen.
I'm going to be more careful with buying routes in TSW3 considering the new price. Quality will have to be better

Ye , atleast they get the stuff kinda right , but im never going to approave of an EMPTY newstreet cuz its just inexcusable, yes clapham was simolour, but not identical because it is a mainline junction but you still had atleast one bit filled but with Birmingham you go straight trough the middle of a giant railtrench thats empty
@@N00N01 but then again there aren't any trains in game that run on bcc. Current locos can't run on it and dtg don't have the licenses to certain liveries and they can't include like 3 new locomotives for every single release
There is a really good competitor coming out mid January. It’s called SimRail. You all should really check it out it looks absolutely stunning and has really realistic and fun gameplay. Hopefully it’ll destroy the shitty monopole Doveshitgames has on train simulators

You're the only community member who did a negative review of this route. I can't believe no one else called out DTG's bullshit on this release but i'm glad you did. All i see on youtube is a bunch of blind fanboys willing to pay 50$ for broken DLC saying it's all perfect and it's enraging. Thanks a lot for your review and i hope this shit won"t sell.

You are so right. It is just an addon with only 44 km. How can they ask for 35,99 € for this one, with even some bugs on the route? I love the rolling stock, but not for this price.

well, I'm was waiting this route mostly because rolling stock, but now I.m seriously doubt should I buy it or not.
and one more time: why Dovetail hates streetcars so much they can't just lay some rails under the bridges or on scenerry? in first 15 minutes of vid you crossed tramline two or three times! The same thing with Dresden. I've never been in Bremen, but know Dresden landscape pretty well, and it is ridiculous without streetcar lines

The price increase doesn't make sense to me, especially since I still haven't seen DTG explain why the prices have gone up. The routes now cost $57 here in New Zealand; just absurd. In the case of Bremen to Oldenburg here, it presents terrible value for money (and why do they keep insisting on making such short routes?)
It's good to see people who actually call out the developers for things they've done wrong, rather than some teacher's pet covering every new release with a glowing 'review'. It's not a proper review when you're only talking about the good aspects.
Also, the whistle on the DB BR110.3 is actually reused from the BR420 EMU in TS classic. As if the ridiculously short route alone wasn't bad enough.
47:00 📼 Führerraum 1 is as you already guessed the "Cab 1". The pink books in the upper left area as you mentioned as Beta VHS Cassettes are the Deutsche Bahn analogue timetables as so called "Buchfahrpläne". In times when there were no board computers inside the cap. Today they are completly replaced by the the "EBuLa" long for "Elektronischer Buchfahrplan und Verzeichnis der Langsamfahrstellen" and is an electronic timetable. It's furthermore providing information about a slow zone for example an area where a train is forced to slow down for either structural, construction, power, signal, or may-bee track problems.
The timetable of a route and its information are updated via radio (GSM-R communication) in these days. There is no VHS-Cassette needed anymore. 🙂😉😁

Eww gross $39.99 Route is almost as much as Standard Edition. sorry but there is No Route on the planet that is that Clean looking No used track or cables running all around the yard omfg it looks so stupid, this is the problem with Dovetail they add things into their game that Know body askes for then they never build on it, and then all the things' we players want they make-up reasons why they can't do it Lie's. To speak honest, I lost interest in TSW3 as I don't play it anymore, I don't even have it installed, and when I played, I only play American routes and only one being new Cajon Pass and that was horribly modeled down in San Bernardino. We should see every American Freight Locomotive & car on every American Route as they share everything in Real Life but NO!!! only that which came with shows up.
How you going to have a game called Train "WORLD" and Not have trains from Australia, New Zealand or Hawaii! Biggest problem I have with TSW3 is that you "CAN'T" run any American Locomotive pulling Freight on any Route, in dovetails mind UP locomotives never run on a CSX line as the main Lead unit as I have asked them on Live Stream and that's there answer No Joke. but UK & European trains you can which makes No sense at all. Well then if UP can't run on CSX line as Lead unit then why can I use UP as helpers on CSX line then that really doesn't make sense then and then that's when their Live Stream Bot removed me. That's where I drawled the Line______________________________________________________ on DTG & there TSW3 game.
I just can't support a Company that Tell's Lies and doesn't listen to their players. My very first Forum Thread on TSW the first game talking I was part of the few that played the Beta and posted on a One page screen yeah one page now there are like 35 pages how I would Love to See an ( RCL ) in game "RCL Radio Controlled Locomotive" as it would make sense given the player can get out and walk around and interact with most things which would make sense but Never heard anything ever on it and I even had over 870 likes on it then DTG locked it so No more comments and that was that Never seen or hear of it ever again. Add the fact I said about Cajon Pass BNSF SD40-2 being broken with Turbo speeds they did one patch that took the Turbo acceleration away but Guess what the unit still does 100+ MPH which will Never be Fixed Ever as like the Locomotives in Train Simulator were never fixed Ever.

Thanks for the in-detail look! I have been in bremen hbf and to me the whole scale just seems a bit off - too small! Beside that Bremen is a real mess with aaalot goin on in its scenery and very hard to rebuild in a game - specialy when taking into account the time you have to build it without raising the price to an absurd point. I think overall with the cut corners its honestly not too bad!
The underground part of the station was absolutely butchered.
Are the consists from this DLC available for free drive/on foot options in the Training Center route?
In germany if a loco has pantographs its mandated to use the last possible panto incase its breaks, so that it doesn't take the other one with it , thats also why the 101 IC coaches 101 type of consist is just never seen really, but it does supplant a cab car somewhat well

These do not occur since yesterdays update. I have tested it on several routes and I no longer get unreal crashes
