    I just picked one of these up, and so far I'm pretty pleased with it. One note, the power cord BARLEY fits. Maybe it will loosen up, but if you don't wind it fairly tight the lid won't close.

    Hi, what class dust extractor is this please, can it be used when drywall sanding plaster after stripping, is it good for extracting dust during sanding of fillers and paint removal?

      Hello, thanks for the question, this model is normally an M class but can also be upgraded with better filters to a H class if necessary. Yes it could be used for that type of sanding/vacuuming.

    On the new models it is not clear how the Man and power buttons work.If you unplug the vacuum cleaner from the socket while using a power tool, the automatic function remains active when you switch it back on or you must press l before switching on the tool in use. 'switchvacuum cleaner?

      if it is with the bluetooth function it still works without being plugged in, but would need to be linked up of course.

    I got this ct 15 and using it with a planex 2. For some reason it doesnt seem to suck as well anymore even tho its new. Should I be cleaning out the bag?

    • @MarquesFlooring
      @MarquesFlooring  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes you could either: clean check the filter, check the fitting to ensure they are tight, empty bag (as you said, whilst they have a full capacity all vacuums worked at their optimum level up to about 50% capacity, further to that safety (against combustion) you shouldn't let the bag fill up too much either. ) hope that helps One Man!

    Was hoping to use a hose from my ct midi but the midi hose has an elbow end. This ct15 requires a straight connector because it fits deep into the top. Also since the man selector is electronic I can’t use a second party remote switch. Are there any options for remote start when using non festool cordless tools?

    • @MarquesFlooring
      @MarquesFlooring  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, would it work for you if you had a reducer fitting to fit your non festool machine, then have a remote bluetooth switch on the end of the festool hose?

    • @crownmoldingbyspectaculart941
      @crownmoldingbyspectaculart941 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @MarquesFlooring
      @MarquesFlooring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    At 1200 watts feeding power , this can't be used with the Kapex K120 REB then ?

    • @MarquesFlooring
      @MarquesFlooring  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, great question, the 1200 watts is an Australian bi-law, however with the Festool range of products and the electronics, inlcuding soft starts etc, you can operate the 1600 watt Kapex. There is an overload on the extractor in case it goes over. If you use a non festool machine however without the electronics that Festool has, it could cause an issue. If you are concerned or unsure, you can also plug the machine straight into the wall and use the bluetooth connection. Hope this helps!
