It seems strange that he could write & perform the song “One More Light” for his friend who took his life, then 2 months later he did the same. Forty-one is two young to check out & leave his family with 6 kids…. There were other ways to deal with this. Mental depression is a monster…there is a video with Chester & his family on vacation the night before…he seemed in good spirits. I live near his last house & it reminds me of his music & his problems.

I have sunk to the bottom many times I have a daughter but in these "moments" all you want to do is make the pain stop. You get tired fighting your demons every single day. On the outside you might seem OK bit inside you are dying. Its a case of you don't want to die..you don't want to live with it..your own thoughts can be your worst enemy 🙏
