Great setup 👍 I've often thought of removing the passenger seat in my Mk4 polo with rear seat flat and plywood for the base of the bed

Nice video and lovely brave little robin to keep you company 🐦 I have VW T-Cross my self and have been sleeping in few times. In my car the passangers seat is bending forward and right side of back seat too, then I just pump an inflatable sleeping pad there and bed is made :)

I have slept in my 04 Outback a few times. I made 6” screen inserts for the rear windows. Big improvement. Happy adventures and cheers from Chicago!

I have a 2006 Scion Xa that has a similar seating arrangement. I've been looking into how to transform the interior into a little micro camper and I came across your video. Great build and I love the fact that you have it so that you can set it up and take it back down easily to transform it back into your commuter car. Nicely done!

What’s going on now? Any vehicles you’re looking at? Were u thinking of heading west to move w the weather? Your comment sounds like me, i am hoping to find a lady to travel with, at least at first, for safety. I’m thinking about OR or BLM land for free camping like the Bob Wells people do. Still, they make u get out after 2 wks. Then u just go to another camp area for 2 wks and so on. Pretty scared but I have a firearm. Want to put a male “dummy” in the passenger seat unless I took it out. I have had dangerous men follow me in my car forever. Just nut jobs who want to chop your head off. Guys don’t know what this is like. A real added burden for a woman every second..i have 2 dogs but a male like this will just shoot your dogs.

Cool! Do the back seats just fold down flat or have you taken them out?

What will you do in an emergence if you have to leave quickly? Why did you block drivers seat instead of passenger? Good set up just wondering

I just saw a previous video to this. The reason the cot is on the driver side is it's the larger side in this car.

If you have the bed on the drivers side there is more space in the 'sitting room' (passengers seat..), which is nice in the evening or if it's raining. And if you need to leave quickly, the whole thing packs up in about a minute...
