    Big thanks to the fine folks at Move for making this one happen. Their support team actually saved my last shoot after I thought I had messed the whole thing up. Thanks also to my friends Shaun and KC for helping me with some of the set-up.

    How did you get a hold of the software?
    What did it cost?
    From what I read it used to be $50 a month for 20 minutes of video,
    Whereas now the cheapest option is $2500 for 3 months and 60 minutes of video (for the entire 3 months).
    WTF?
    It went from awesome and affordable-for-indie solution to just another "meh" mocap solutions for established / big companies : |

    Nice! Putting down the boards to mark out your volume was a really smart... MOVE(.ai). Really impressive results, I don't think I will be buying a mocap suit any time soon!

    Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Well done. When I saw someone even play with a soccer ball using Move AI i knew we had something special. Have you messed with Wonder Dynamics yet?

    How could you sync videos? I want to use android phones. Without USB

    • @WoodyDevs
      @WoodyDevs  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to do a lot of sync’ing because of the bad cameras and their frame drift. If the clips are close, doing the clap sync should go a long way in Move. You could always ask them though for beat practices.

    Save those cheap cameras for any time you want a vintage vhs look. It'll shave seconds off your processing time because you won't need to use a filter in Resolve! 🤣

      It does look amazing and easy to use... but don't know if its paying model is a good comparison to Rokoko or the other suits in the long run. Would love to hear your take on which, long-term solution is better to invest for game creators

    • @WoodyDevs
      @WoodyDevs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And you'd probably be right. I've animated characters like these before. BUT! In doing mocap I had new ideas I might not have had before. The idea to give the mage a book came during recording.
