    I do do my homework. This sentence would never have come up if you didn't make this video. Coz sounds wired for me. But, do is a verb and also used to emphasize it. So it totally makes sense. I'm lazy today but I DO do the dishes before going to bed! Thanks🤩

    I got accustomed to hearing/reading 'to do' already so turning back to the basics were quite strange. However it is not useless because repetition is the key to success. Sometimes I commit a mistake that is so simple! Thank you for the lovely video. Your plant in the background looks like it has a hat. What kind of plant is it? We expect snow soon so it is colder. I got a few days off but Friday I work.

    • @LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian
      @LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure what kind it is. It doesn't have tag. I'll check when I get home with my daughter as she is the plant expert in our family! 🙂📚🚂. (As for snow, we're getting hit hard right now. It's a perfect time to slip outside and make next week's video.)

    Hi Bob,
    Let me try to tell you a bit of quirky humor:
    A little monkey walks into a bar and asks the bartender: Do you have any bananas? 🍌
    The bartender replies: No, I don't have any bananas.
    The little monkey asks the question again: Do you have any bananas? 🍌
    The bartender who is starting to get a little nervous: No, I still don't have any bananas.
    The little monkey: Do you have any bananas? 🍌
    The pissed off bartender: Are you deaf or what, I told you I don't have any bananas. If you ask me the same question again, I'll take your tongue and nail it to the counter.
    The little monkey then asks: Do you have any nails?
    Bartender: No, I don't have any nails.
    The little monkey: Do you have any bananas? 😄😉🙃🤪

    Hi Bob, great video!
    I have a question. Suppose you want to know if someone else knows what you know. Would you ask Do you know what I do or Do uou know what I know?
    I guess in the first question the final do wouldn't be interpreted as an auxiliary, but as a full verb.
    Thank you

    • @LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian
      @LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use either, but the second one would be more common I think. Do you know what I know? Yes, I do! 😎🚀🍄
