This is the first live stream I watched from the beginning until the end. It was the music who did it en walked straight into my heart. Thanks for this wunderful feeling.
Thank you so much from Italy.. I still remember when I saw your show in Ostiano, one of the first years as Lúnasa band, an epiphany for my passion for celtic music, which has been growing until today.. We all were a bit younger, but, as Paul Simon says in one of his wonderful song, ".. after changes upon changes we are more or less the same.." All the best to you and your families..
Hi Ghino, thanks for watching, we have very fond memories of our trips to Italy in the early years of the band. Without doubt it is our favourite country to visit.
I remember going to Virgin Records in Oxford Street in London back in the day, looking to buy a few cds to bring back to the US to play on my radio show on WTJU Charlottesville. I found a debut cd by this band I had never heard of, but, reading the credits, I knew a couple of the members (Trevor and Donagh) had played with Sharon Shannon and said to myself ‘I bet this is going to be good’, so I bought it on a whim. And so began my fascination with Lunasa. I dunno if I was the first DJ to play them on the radio in the US, but I must have been close. Since then, I’ve helped bring them to Charlottesville many times, introduced them onstage (one time I was so nervous I introduced them as as Dervish....remember that, guys?), and even finagled it so the band could come play on my radio show. It’s been such an incredible pleasure and inspiration to hear you all so many times over the years, and now this amazing online concert ...just wow! Long may you run, fellas! ~Pete
With love and excitement from Minnesota, thank you each and every one of you. I have been a big a fan for years and have had the pleasure of seeing you live a few years back. This is great! Enjoying this very much!!!
I can't wait. I got see you in March in Portland Oregon right before everything shut down. I'm so thankful and a lucky girl. I have your cd playing in my car wherever I go and it warms my Celtic heart.
Thank you all for the music! The good thing about the virtual concert is that I can play together with the band at home haha. Absolutely adore 'the last pint'.
Greetings from the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest. It was great to see you all in person with the Pasadena Folk Music Society a year ago. Thanks ro technology, we are all connected visually and more importantly, acoustically because of your continued passion to make the world a better place, one concert at a time. G Floyd
Fantastic band - our first time hearing you here in West Wales. Missing Ireland this year, should have been with you twice but this is amazing - thank you !
Sorry to miss the live! Our internet works better with playback rather than the livestreams. It's like stop motion....the price of living in the woods! Miss seeing you guys in person!!! Hi, Kevin and Cillian! Go raibh míle maith agat!

Saw you play in Stamford, England earlier this year. Couldn't wangle a flute lesson from Kevin but was an amazing evening all the same. Thanks for entertaining us again x
Half of my brain thought, "oh no, it's Colin Farrell the actor who has written a tune a day, 2020 just keeps getting worse." Great show guys, thanks for inviting Daoiri Farrell too, outstanding talent.
So beautiful. Tearing up a little bit. I had the chance to hear you all a bunch back at the Burren in Somerville many times in the early 2000s. Great to hear you again. Thanks guys. Health to you all.
