It was very good and it must have took an age to find that dress. But now we've seen the flower girl and page boy, where’s the bride and groom?
I must be getting old! I did know a couple, still do know the wife, who got married at 17 and were still together until his passing a few years ago in his mid 60s. Those of my generation may suspect there was a shotgun involved but there wasn’t. There was Irish though and at one time Irish brides tended to be younger.
It comes to something when the music from a family Disney film of the 60s has better music than that that’s around today. They can certainly dance too.
I can wish this couple no more than have all the love, happiness and most of all laughter my wife and I have in our marriage. My only advice is always be honest and open with each other, if you feel you can’t be don’t do what you’re thinking of doing (pleasant surprises are exempt).
