When I was a kid back in the 90d my dad would clean our carpet with the bonnet cleaner..I'd sit on top it and ride around as he cleaned lol
I'm mean it looks just as effective to be honest. It came out nice
Str8 up…
No pre soak?
Oh whaa big transformation
I do both. My tech does truckmount steam cleaning all day and I do all the vlm (Encap) cleaning. My tech went on vacation for a week and left the van a mess so I called up the scheduled customers and offered low moisture for the price of steam (yes, I charge more for vlm.) All agreed, and are all now scheduling vlm now lol. My tech is not happy but steam cleaning is never going away. I send him to heavy pet jobs and I do all the commercial carpet. I also do all the wood, natural stone, doing a lot more ceramic now with vlm process as well. I am honestly thinking that if he ever leaves that I will go exclusively vlm. Almost 30 years into this and I am no spring chicken anymore lol. Truckmounts and portables are just getting to be too much for me. Great job. I love challenging jobs like this one.
Thx. Bonnet Carpet Cleaning was my First method of carpet cleaning back in my hotel working days. To me, hot water extraction is much easier. However, when done correctly, VLM is very meticulously and methodical and time sensitive at times.. VLM should be charged the same as HWE or a BIT MORE because of the DRY TIME and CARRYING💪🏽the Machine Around.
Maybe treat your tech better and not like a piece of garbage. You say, if my tech ever leaves,... the biggest reason why people leave is because of attitude like yours towards employees. I would never want to work for you.
That is the key... Gotta take your time with the bonnets and rinse them out frequently.
Personally I use a crb to agitate and then the correct bonnet to extract... Works great with the Green Dragon or Releasit DS2 encaps.
I know this is a year late, but do you suggest cleaning commercial carpet with a bonnet or regular truck mount?
@michaelbeard5432 if it is a restaurant with greasy carpet like gummy traffic lanes. I will hwe the first time. I will try to get back out there within a few months to encap it. The encap resists resoiling much better in my experience. After that, encap on a schedule if possible. If it is just thrashed then we will hwe those areas and then encap as a last step. Offices and hotels, almost always encap.
Great results!
Good job nice contrast
You did an awesome job man!
Thanks Mandy
Great job buddy….I do VLM exclusively works great….
I do VLM only
AMAZING
Thx
Great job you perform magic on that one now you see dirt now your don't
I believe in Miracles ☺️
thats mostly all i do is bonnet cleaning, when a customer who calls for the 1st time is hesitant, my pitch that seems to work well is the bonnet makes direct contact with the carpet
Also, the dry time is such a HIGH VALUE when the carpet becomes Super Clean..
$60 per rm..
Thx for commenting 👍🏽
I used a truck mount and the carpet was just a little damp when I left. Could walk on the carpet no problem. Dry in one hour, Key is to use very slow, steady movement of the wand and multiple dry passes. I did vlm OP cleaning before, but preferred truck mount.
VLM the first that I liked because of the visual effects. HWE (hot water extraction) has the Mental Satisfaction more so, because of the immediate and complete removal of the soil… “The Fresh Laundry Effect “
Thanks 👍🏽
@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289I’ve been researching for weeks and that is the conclusion I have come to , it’s mental.
Great job! What chemistry did you use?
Low PH (7 and Below) Self Neutralizing Solutions
Awesome video. I am about to me an order of pads and I would like your take on this...How many pads do you think is a safe number of f microfiber vs iron man or cotton pads to order to know i can safely clean some carpet to extracting soil in lets say a 6 room house(4 bedrooms, hallway, 1 flight of stairs)?
I say, always test your bonnet choices to the cleaning solutions you use. Each bonnet pad and chemical reaction is different and must be observed considerably… The power is in you..
You can never go wrong with the green striped bonnet…
Thanks for Watching and questioning 👍🏽
Why wouldn't after the bonnet you use a extractor, l always thought that bonnets just was kinda spreading dirt just asking
Well, if one never change or rinse the bonnet to the point where the bonnet can no longer absorb soil, then Yes… Dirt can just continuously spread and smear..
Do u rake it out at the end? Can we see that too if so
Yes. To fluff out those fibers to dry evenly
Question - Did you guys sprayed or just the soaked pad? - Any other pad kind to follow up? Or just the white/stripes one … Good job though! … Thank you …
All pads are all good. I like the Green Striped one for the agitation and absorption. Definitely Pre Spray the floor and soak the pads….
Thx..
Do you pretreat?
Do you use encapsulation solutions when vlm?
Not in this one. But you can never go wrong with an encapsulated solution.
Thanks
What pre spray did you use?
Radiance
Awesome! What chem did you use?
Just the standard prespray (11-12PH) and extraction..
@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289 What's the name of your standard pre spay? Thank you
Im sorry. Never use a high Ph on a bonnet cleaning. My bad for posting that earlier. Bonnet Cleaning should never exceed 7-8PH.
Chemspec prespay is the name
@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289 Thank You Sir
with what you are extracting the water from the carpet?
The bonnet pad that is spinning. The friction from the spinning creates a little heat, in which the Dirt has no choice but to attract magnetically to the bonnet..👍🏽
What type of liquid cleaning did you use
Prochem Encapsulating Solution
What chemicals you use it’s looks good
Chemspec Self neutralizing solutions…
@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289 ok
Did you spray the floor with chemicals, and what did you dip the bonnet in?
Yes. Of course a pre-spray before extraction
@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289 what did you dip the bonnet in?
@@jamingjohnson2275 no dip bro, remember tilt the machine toward you to mov e one direction and away to go the other way
@@michalob21He put the bonnet in a bucket of liquid.
@@lightworker4813 oh I didn't see that part
What size pads fit that machine?
20 inch. Thx
how many times do you have to wet the pad?
It depends on the level of soiling. Sometimes once. Sometimes thrice..
Thanks 😊
Hot water extraction is deadly needed on this carpet Yeesh what a pig who ever lived there, but you use what you got to clean it depends on the circumstances I suppose. good clean😍😍😍love the filthy bonnet
It didn’t look like a pet issue, so all that dirt was superficial to the surface. Bonnet cleaning is designed to get exactly that.
Cynthia are you a carpet cleaner ?

@@nucleancarpetupholstery2289 What is it called? The brand
Good job.
What the name of the chemical ?
Chemspec
What do you do for the corners?
Drilling tool with a cloth pad, or simply a microfiber cloth and a little elbow grease👍🏽. Corners are very important.
Thx
