Hey Aaron! With picture in picture are you able to corner pin? So like instead of shifting the whole image left or right, moving the top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right point individually?
just watching your streaming bridge video. i was thinking instead of using zoom with delay between what is going out on the stream and the back channel . for a 2 person interview. what would your thoughts be on both using a streaming bridge ? for instance your return feed being plugged into a monitor and connecting headphones to it -instead of using zoom for the back channel. or would that creat issues with audio , if only it was bi directional so whoever was running the show could send a return feed! as was looking at something like the 2110 ip converter. but isnt that only for when you have 10gb ethernet...
Plug an HDMI cord from your laptop into the switcher, your laptop will see it as an external monitor. You can mirror the display or use it as a secondary screen.
Hey Aaron, I have 3 questions. 1.How do you load up pictures on the SPROLINK PLUS, because I tried to upload jpeg pictures, and go to MEDIA, IMAGE and press the + blue Sign and click, and it says NULL. Is there a special USB kind to use to upload pictures or I’m doing something wrong? 2. How do you add a backgound picture. 3.And also, for the PTZ camera, I can see myself on the screen but the joystick is not working. How do you work this device? Your help would be so appreciated.
How large a Logo picture can you use, and can you use transparency? For example, I want to put a fake TV frame around the edges with the live switch showing inside the TV frame.
Will Sprolink Neolive R2 Plus accept 4k HDMI source input from a camera .I mean can Sprolink input 4K HDI source and re encod input 4K into 1080p into the switcher.
Hey, I'm looking to buy this to use it for a single cam set up, but with three other screens set up for corporate work. So my question is, can I use this to have the camera 1 set up on the presenter, and then while recording the video, switch to monitor 1, 2, and 3 as required? I realise the NeoLIVE R2 can do so much more than this, especially for live, multicam work. And we'll get into that. But I need to know it can do the above single can/multi-screen set up as well?
Is there a reason you need a single device to do both of these? I think I'd be able to help guide you to the right device better if you can give me an idea of what else you're planning on doing with it. There are a lot of similar devices but they all have subtle differences so there may be a clear winner depending on exactly what your end goal is.
Is there a box that just plays videos out, with a screen, like a Hyperdeck shuttle with screen so you can see title and time. I tour with a band and we use VLC to play through 38 videos through the show, and I would love an desk device with hard buttons that just allows me play, pause and play next. Laptops are big and then I have to have a Stream Deck for playback control with confidence of not hitting the wrong keys by mistake.
There's a few options depending on how much control you need. Blackmagic makes one called Video Assist, but it's really meant more as a recorder and is pretty expensive because of that. (It's also as picky about playback formats as the Hyperdeck.) There's also this, which I bought 4 years ago and haven't ever actually gotten around to reviewing: geni.us/9xig If you don't mind an external monitor, there's a much cheaper little playback device called the Micca Speck geni.us/cTcA I like this because it's so small but it might be better suited for playback that doesn't need to be super accurately timed, like long looping backgrounds and such.
Yeah, that's one of the unique things about this device! In the "default" mode, it has an RTMP server in it and you can pull that feed from things like VLC. It's all on the local network!
I will never buy a device that does not have multiview. The people who design this device must not have seen or used any other popular device. Multiview is a must. That screen is too small. It is only good as a backup or a pinch.
Ok, I didn't know you were needing an output. I have an atem extreme and would like this option for smaller livestream shoots. Classrooms or small music set up.@@moltenpros

Would be great to have a touchscreen as well!
Are you using this still today?
Are you going to get the new Rode video switcher?
I have a bunch of videos about the RØDECaster Video out already! th-cam.com/video/yYSUk2NICYk/w-d-xo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB

How do you project what you’re doing/watching on your laptop 💻 to the Sprolink R2 plus switcher? What are the steps?

Can you pick what camera is in the preview window while in “easy” mode?
Aaron, can you record each stream individually or is it just the program output?

Great review. Thanks !
just one again sorry, IOS - what it stand for? (when you were talking about instant replays)
Hey Aaron! How did you set up VLC to receive your stream? Can you use vlc as a local player without needing to go through an online platform?
Yeah, that's one of the unique things about this device! In the "default" mode, it has an RTMP server in it and you can pull that feed from things like VLC. It's all on the local network!
That's very neat, I wish the ATEM could do that, I'd love to be able to broadcast internally
How is the obsbot connected to the switcher?
Q can it take 4K input and downscale
Hi, how do you get the map and comments on your livestream?
The map is custom, but I have a Chrome extension for the comments, more details here: th-cam.com/video/HwctGtdsHZI/w-d-xo.html
@@aaronpk thanks
Does it get hot like the ATEM Minis?
no, better than atem minis
Hi from Columbus ohio
I always wonder if you struggle with tech, we commoners don't stand a chance
Nobody's perfect! But really it just takes practice, so you see me struggle much less with gear I've used a lot

It has multiview at the bottom
@X At the bottom where? We are talking about multiview output. It has two program output but no multiview except for the small built in screen.

@@BigBenX All pro switchers have a multiview output and program output. atem extreme has both
