In 2021, I started scheduling time to scrapbook. A few people thought I was crazy. I was like why not schedule it? You schedule time to grocery shop, doctor's appointments, and everything else in life. Crafting is important to me and I discovered how much my mental health needed creative time. Scheduling time to scrapbook definitely helped me so much mentally. I also knew I was busy and not to schedule something else. It also let people know I was busy at that time. It's ok to take time for yourself. Actually, it's really, really important to take time for yourself. We all need to do that especially these days! Happy crafting!
I think your 5 Tips were great. I have SO MUCH to do in my creating/crafting world... one major being the organization of my craft room/studio. Scheduling and putting together "kits" I think is going to help me a lot... especially once the reorganization and cleaning of my room is complete. Thank you for sharing.

After coffee this morning I will be sending 400 photos that I have been editing this week off to the printer. Once those are here I will sit down and sort into my stacks of pages ideas and get my journaling printed out. I am still 2 years behind in printing photos but after Picasa was no longer working I have had a very hard time finding a photo editing software that I like. I am determined to learn Photo Shop Elements this year because that really has slowed my scrappy progress down. I really need to get back into the habit of getting my photos printed and organized for scrapping at the beginning of the year because that really sets me up for creative success during my play time.
This was a great video. I have not done any scrapbooking in years (my focus was card making). Recently I am so drawn back to scrapbooking “terrified” about where to start. This quick video gave me so much motivation.

Love the tips especially the blocking off time to craft. I also make a master list but I separate the list into short and long term goals that way I can feel better about my process if I get a few not so big projects completed. Happy 2022!
Need to get organized, lots of projects in my head, AND a few half done🤷🏻♀️ but currently in limbo, was ready and able with lots of new stash for Christmas ….. Then, grandkids from both families got Covid. We all tested before Christmas Eve before we gathered 30+ people in closed house. So we have not even had Christmas really with our kids!!! Made base pages but just waiting on folks to gather around our tree….oye!
