I most definitely would dress a gourmand up.. I've worn New Haarlem to a wedding and on various summer nights out with it being summer.. Keep em coming Ms. Sara🤙🏿 "THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
Always great stuff Sarah. Gourmands, or anything near gourmand, forever reminded me of scented candles. It was only within the last 3 or 4 years or so that I really could get into them. Hope you're feeling better 💪
This is one of the fragrances I want to buy for sure, but unfortunately it hasn't been available in my country. Hopefully I'll be able to get it after the hype? Get well soon!!
I can pinpoint my attraction to sweet parfums emerging with the pandemic. After my taste changed and I look for sweet fragrances because they give me comfort. Like an embrace.
I love gourmands but noticed that I don't wear trendy literal gourmands (e.g. Bianco Latte) as often or as universally as I would wear a perfume-y gourmand (e.g. La Belle or LDBS). I would easily wear the latter on a night out but idk if I would wear Bianco for a night out. Keen on hearing any others' thoughts on this as well!
@@notimportant123 I completely agree! They're cozy and my preference is to wear them in the evening at home or on a cool night where I'm doing something low key in the winter!
Typically, I use vanillas to provide a sweet, smooth base-layer for other fragrances. For instance, With "Eclaire"...I layer that one full-body, then accent pulse-point sprays of "Red Tobacco" on. I'm perfectly sweet, creamy and spicy for the rest of the day!
@@GlamFinds Hahaha...it is. 10 sprays of "Eclaire" and about 6 sprays of "RT"....I don't need to reapply all day, and I have to avoid contact with other humans for the first 2 hours...lol
@Joey3105Tube my bad, I was still sick when I shot this. Imo it leans femme but it seems like a lot of mem wear it because it's so gourmand. Also I feel like if I smelled this on my brother or something, I'd still think he smells good (not sure if that helps).
@MrRhperezjr right, and I definitely don't like Italica but I'm so-so on Angel's share since it's not heavy on it. Trust me when I tell you I don't like an OD of praline.
@@GlamFinds I so relate to what you mean about too much praline, but lately my nose has been playing tricks on me. I can't get enough of praline🤦♂️ lol. I purchased Italica and I can't get enough of it. Also, compliment galore and I live in miami, go figure.🤷♂️
@Detman101 this is actually promo from the brand itself. This is actually the first Lattafa I was sent ever (despite having reviewed Lattafa for years... and again, Al Ameed is still my favorite and the one I will ALWAYS BUY and have).
I usually wear some gourmands to the office but they can be so embracing and give love, some are so special for a date. Imagine your date's hand after saying good bye, remembering the sweet allure of the parfum in question. Unforgettable!
You're missing out on some great new Zara releases by continuing to review these bottles from middle east houses that use synthetics to better their performance. The current For Him Red Intense is a terrific BR540 clone that lasts all day. I have few other fragrances with this kind of performance. The Wood and Tabac offerings were top quality. Vibrant Leather Explosion really amps up the original's performance and sort of reminds me of Cedrat Boise Intense and Hacivat. The Red Temptation extraits are also very good. Leather Jardin by Jo Malone is a throwback to scents like Aramis and Lauder for Men. There's a bunch of others like Nocturnal Life and Bohemian Oud that also offer very good performance. I think you would love many of them and quite a few were offered for sale a few weeks ago and at the end of last year.
Can't go backwards to "Zara" weak fragrances after experiencing middle-eastern fragrances with nuclear projection and longevity. Zara fragrances don't last half a workday...let alone a full day. Frankly, I wouldn't waste the money on trying them even if they DID sell samples.
@@Detman101 Get yourself Zara For Him Red Intense or Vibrant Leather Explosion from Zara and tell me they're weak. Check the Fragrantica Reviews. Hi Lo Country and Gourmand Leather (both released in 2018) were excellent dupes of Ultra Male and had better sillage than Ultra Male. You're comparing a major company that often uses name perfumers who probably demand a certain percentage of natural oils, adheres to IFRA standards, performs allergy testing, and employs thousands to middle eastern companies you know nothing about, except that they send free bottles to TH-cam uploaders who shill for them (Glamfinds excluded from that last comment). How do you think they're getting great performance from many of their offerings? Do you actually think they're using real oud which costs about $100 per ml?
Zara frags had their chance and burned us all in the early 2020s with their poor performance. I still have 4 bottles I use as room/bedding sprays. I wouldn't go back after experiencing middle eastern perfumes.
