I believe Caleb's TD numbers will be a little lower than expected...around 19 to 20 range. inside the red zone we are going to mix in the run quite a bit more.
Not even close!!!! Sick of this, y’all did it Bryce now Caleb?! CJ got screwed in the 2 Heisman ceremonies by y’all so called studs. Now CJ finally getting his flowers!
Caleb and CJ are very different QB’s. I don’t think Caleb will be running outside the pocket like he did at USC. Schematically CJ is in a far better situation. They both have phenomenal situations weapons wide, but Caleb off rip has no excuses considering how people talk about in coming out of college. They made sure they got him everything needed to be successful right out the gate.
The Bears OL was straight up bad last year. There were 4-5 games where Jones, Jenkins, and Wright were solid, but with injuries and bad performances, it wasn’t good. Patrick, Whitehair, and Davis were ranked among the worst in the league with shockingly bad performances against Green Bay, Minnesota, New Orleans, and Cleveland. This is why the Bears OL gave up the most pressures in the league. And note, pressures are typically tabulated before the QB holds and/or breaks and rolls, so some of it is not on Fields. And don’t get me started on Bears Center penalties, bad snaps, missed assignments and 1 v 1 matchup losses. A bad performance by a Center is a FORCE MULTIPLIER and probably only second to the QB as they are the only other player to touch the ball on every down, set snap cadence, help with protection, build rhythm. Caleb will struggle if the Center can’t get it together.
@@psygolf7120 that’s not true. I subscribe to PFF and I don’t see that ranking. The Bears OL ranked 23rd in pass block and run block in 2023. The Center position with Lucas Patrick was ranked 50th! The team led the league in pressures allowed.
I hate dumb videos like this. Ppl talkin about things after the fact. The world dont work like that. If we knew the future eveyone on Earth would do things different. Including the dude in the video point it out.
Just from a probability standpoint Caleb is very unlikely to have a good season much less have a season like the one Stroud had. If Caleb has a solid rookie season and the team does well that is a win.
No controversy at all. Pretty lazy take tbh. Bears and Texans rosters AND cap couldn't have been more different. GMs/execs from other franchises still talk about that trade as being impressive. Poles took a big gamble but he's already made it worth it. Imo. Caleb is potential icing on the cake.
CJ Stroud just had the greatest rookie season in the history of the NFL. Why are we expecting anyone to match or eclipse that just 1 year later? It shouldn’t even be a discussion. It’s unrealistic.
The Bears won the trade by a mile whether caleb works out or not. Look at all the other pieces they got. No brainer. Plus the 2024 qb class was supposedly better than the 2023 class. Time will tell on that part
This is not fantasy football. CW will find out the difference tween the pac 12 and the NFL with a rude awakening. He can always play in the lingerie league or be on ESPN woke fantasy league plus
This is legit all old Bears fans who embrace the old (Carm) “we passed on blah blah blah” I truly don’t care anymore regardless, but this trade was a win. Period
You guys should bring in Olin Kreutz for an interview. I hear he's a huge fan of Hoge 😂
Lmaoo. I would pay to see that
Cj stroud is a unicorn, I'll take the lottery hit over an empty ticket. No offense
Caleb will break the record and I think he will spread the ball out evenly to his skill positions
Cant wait for week 2.

No Carm. There’s no way to know how Stroud would have been on the Bears. Maybe Young goes off in Houston and Stroud sucks in Carolina.

I don't care. I'm taking the over on Caleb passing TDs.

I take it you a pack fan
@@DmeingoJohnson no I just watch football, unlike you.
Bear OL graded out top 5 in rush & pass play win rates.
The problem was the GB mole OC, and a qb that couldn’t pull the trigger.

Im jumping on that. 23.5

CJ had the best rookie season EVER!
Yall need to chill.

🤦🏾♂️🤣I'm sure about CJ Stroud

cj missed 2 games btw
Haven’t by game 10
You cannot compare having Stroud or Williams, with all that came with the trade, especially DJ Moore. Slam dunk win.
“The bears aren’t going to throw the ball 40 times” how do you know that lol? They haven’t even played a game.
a rookie throwing 40 times a game early days is insanity. 25-30 times is a better baseline, 35 tops.
Panthers didn't take Stroud so how bears lose trade ....compare Williams to Young because that's who the panthers took
The Bears could've stayed at 1 and got Stroud
Caleb will break the rookie record with 5232 yards 52 touchdowns
Does anyone remember that Cj Stroud didn't want to come to chicago, it's Justin's team, exact words.
Justin is his homie doofus.
They both played at the same school fool
Said the same bout Caleb 😅
You a goofie lol
He would have gladly have been good being the number 1 pick

Hoge disrespect to CJ made me see why Olin did what he did. No respect.
dude is clown that got what he deserve.
You had to give Fields another chance to max his time in Chicago last year.

😂😂😂😂 William doesn't stand a chance vs STROUD!
Spit ...it ...out.
Only Int’s y’all can talk about is Peyton?! All these others had how many?! Shut up with the selective facts.
😂😂😂
our o line needs to come to play this year.
No , it is talked about too much. This is old old tired rehashing of the "should we have passed on C J Stroud".
