I am writing to you from Romania, a country that has been attacked 12 times throughout history by Russia/USSR, so I am a resident of a country concerned about Russian invasions, something to be taken very seriously by any country that was once under Russia's sphere of influence. I recently watched a video about what the Russians know about Romania and the first thing was about how we invaded Russia together with the Germans, but no one knew about the territories annexed by their old rulers (Bucovina, Republic of Moldova). As Romanians, I don't claim not to recover the territories because that means conflicts, war and we don't want that, but this hypocrisy of the Russians seems incredible to me. I don't think there is a more hypocritical state/people than Russia. The West tried to keep Russia close by doing business, but all this time, Russia armed itself with the money coming from us to attack and annex its neighbors. Europe did not invest in armaments, but in raising the standard of living. That's the difference in mentality between a frustrated people like Russia and some neighbors who think that things should be good, that there should be peace and that we should not help each other. This is what the European Union means, but you don't want something like that. Germany, which was once an extraordinary military power, no longer wanted a strong army so that their neighbors would understand that they no longer have and will never have imperialist thoughts. NATO is for the protection of weak states, not for attacking Russia. When you stop attacking countries like Georgia, Moldova, then surely others will not want to belong to NATO. Become a democratic state, let people protest, demand their rights and see how the perspective of the West changes towards you. Glory to the Ukrainians 🇺🇦

If only someone with a tendency towards cooperation rather than conquest was in charge of Russia, the whole of Europe and , indeed, the rest of the world , would be so different. Russians are so brainwashed that they can’t believe that all of their lives, not just those of the corrupt oligarchs running the country, would improve if they adopted a democratic and cooperative stance. It will never improve while Putin is dictator. Never.

Слава Україні Well said. Russia is arming the NATO and USA by continuous aggressive exterritorial military and terrorist acts. No-one attacked Russia, no-one has the intention to. Europe even invited Russia to participate in the EU and surely with friendly will of legal alignment. All that was waved by Russia and responded with diplomatic, then economic and finally military aggression. Yes the West, too, in response to the attacks, 7 years later! 2021, not 2014, when Russia rallied a war into Ukraine. 7 years too late? Sure, absolutely, but we believed in the good humble, russian and his will for living a good smaller and eventually bigger life, whatever he pleases in bilateral embracing respect. That was not shared, instead the average russian cocooned into the everexisting culture of cowardness allowing free reign to their stalinistic, satanistic leaders. It doesn’t really matter if once Putin collapses they put him on a pitchfork, because the next won’t be much better and Russia will continue supporting a stalin-state with cowardness. Other countries, african, latin, european, asian, middle-eastern all fought and many still do fight over and over against their terrorist regimes to establish the rule of people, not the false propaganda representing leader, they fight fo a democracy, their democracy, be it similar to the french, american or english system or only a little tiny bit, theirs it is and it’s a step, they may lose this fight, but one generation later, they’ll fight again and typically after 3-4 such fights the new rule is established in a more resiliant fashion and can strive and evolve slowly, with all difficulties and frustrations, but as long as it’s protected it will evolve super slow into positive outcome for all, not really always even, sure, but it moves into the right direction. Those people are courageous, not one, two, five, 100 courageous people, no, a courageous population, most of them, big numbers. that is the worldwide culture. The Russian culture, cowards, eating propaganda and bot-acting on that. No Exile Russian can convince me he doesn’t belong to them. Look at the last dictatorships in Spain and Portugal, it can be done, by the population, by the army, heck, even by the king, a king, pulling the plug on a dictatorship and handing over to a republic parliament. A military tank-major marching to the capital with a rose in his cannon. Africans that kicked out colonial regimes, with or without russian or chinese weapons. All of them understood and evolved, that russian, cuban, chinese communism is a dead-end into a new dictatorship, and turned into African, European alliances to protect their regional cultures of life and to UN for general humanitarian alliance and some to NATO to expand the post-WW2 peace trust. The sole purpose of EU and NATO in aggressive and uncertain post-WW2 times.

correct, the difference however is the form of government and aggression. It is Russia attacking another country, it is their president who has the threat of nuclear weapons on his agenda. The same. They are not in a state of war. It is a special operation.
It is a war, but for Iraq/Syria/Afghanistan etc... And most people in the US don't feel guilty.
However, the United States proclaims the democracy and the majority shares this opinion. With power comes responsibility.

Muscovy is historically hostile with Poland, so they don't perceive Polish nation as a friendly one. And ultimately it's a problem of twisted worldview that has western image as something fundamentally negative when it's not matching Muscow's views.

They have widespread xenophobia towards all peoples. And they say if some people don’t like Russia, the reaction will be “HOW DARE THEY?!!!” and for this they really believe that it is normal to destroy and capture peoples.
