Can we take a moment to talk about how the tower with a robot guy in it, who asks you to go to a damn, is almost certainly a New Vegas reference? Also the end cut scene is done in a similar style to fallout.

I think some of RWS & Corey were there too, though oddly they all looked like edited versions of their game characters e.g. Rick looked like the Dude with a more angled head and no glasses. Come today and Civvie releases Pro Postal 4 Friday. Spooky.
May be a poor comparison but I'd compare him to Brad Jones/The Cinema Snob. His videos vary wildly in view difference, but he understands his core audience and what they want; porno spoofs, Tyler Perry joints, and Christploitation flicks. Civvie definitely hasn't sold out yet, but he might blow all his movie budget on jail tub wine and cigarettes so hopefully the corrections people hold his hand a little.
Hell yeah I love hearing Gianni in games. If only there was some sort of boomer-shooter with great maps and innovative mechanics that you could examine which featured him as one of the major characters...

It still feels weird to me that Postal 4 is even a thing. I just kind of assumed that with the multiple DLC, continuous QoL updates, and community support, plus y'know Postal 3, Running with Scissors would be content making Postal 2 their endless labor of love.
According to RWS Postal 4 started off as a remake of Postal 2,then they realized they could make a new game with all the new mechanics they added instead of putting new paint on postal 2.

This is because of a paradigm empire shift between America and China, and if America collapses even for a brief period, you have the chance to escape from your small cell in one of the many complexes under the Nevada desert. Try to make your way to Las Vegas, or what's left of it, once you get out of the complex. If that doesn't work, make your way to Area 51 and pretend you're a civilian, the airplane technicians there will be glad to escort you into a civilian area where you can easily blend in, either that or at least keep you safe from the US department that's keeping you locked up along with your fellow clones

I don't even play this series, but I'm glad people get to choose with which voice they want to play. That's some replay-value stuff right here. All 3 actors are pretty good and suit the Postal dude.
The car destroying minigame used Postal Redux Rampage music, so i guess you can call that car genocide. I noticed everything else also uses Redux music when genociding, so thats cool.

Getting all 3 to do voices just begs for a 3x co-op with all three of them with slightly unique personality between them. Maybe go for the full 4 and get Civvie in there (as the punching bag).
For those with the GOG version that are wondering why they can't update to 1.0..... RWS really played into the whole 4/20 gag by waiting until 4:20PM (Central Time, USA) to release the patch for GOG players. Classy🤣 Don't know if the same holds true for Steam Players.

The modern release of the game gives dude's dad a red cloak, making him the Postal Redux dude. He even utters a line from one of the original Postal's loading screens before the fight begins.
So happy that the game is finally officially releasing, it's so improved from when I first bought it in 2020. Didn't even realized it existed until I happened upon this channel.
I respect John St. John's talent, but I happy that they went with Corey Cruise for Brain Damaged. Even though it sucks that Rick Hunter didn't want to do the whole game I think Corey Cruise did a great job
As a big fan of Postal and Postal 2 this was...meh. Postal was awesome on showing the insanity on and individual and the second game was a satire of that game for the media. This they tried too hard on doing stupid satire using the first game character whose mind is more destroyed than this game shows. I love RWS but for me Postal 4 is just like a Postal 3 but actually made by RWS.
Ngl Postal 4 just isnt as good as Postal 2. Between the art style and the jank after full release its like damn, at least its better than that one game.

As much as i know, the dude may had left edensin with a strong dom girlfriend and his champ (successfully without any problems), without any nuclear disasters again.
Guess more than the Dudes and the rws voice actors returned.
I hope it leads to the next game where you can select between using the dude or the sister as playable.

Try to make your way to Las Vegas, or what's left of it, once you get out of the complex. If that doesn't work, make your way to Area 51 and pretend you're a civilian, the airplane technicians there will be glad to escort you into a civilian area where you can easily blend in, either that or at least keep you safe from the US department that's keeping you locked up along with your fellow clones
Honestly the twist that Postal of all places having a big strong military bitch that isn't wasted nor killed is what surprised me the most. Like Postal is one of the last places for good Tough Bitches material.

The car destroying minigame used Postal Redux Rampage music, so i guess you can call that car genocide.
I noticed everything else also uses Redux music when genociding, so thats cool.

Getting all 3 to do voices just begs for a 3x co-op with all three of them with slightly unique personality between them. Maybe go for the full 4 and get Civvie in there (as the punching bag).

The modern release of the game gives dude's dad a red cloak, making him the Postal Redux dude. He even utters a line from one of the original Postal's loading screens before the fight begins.

After everything I've learned about the Postal series from CV-11's videos, I was still somehow surprised to hear Postal Dude quoting Team Rocket.
I respect John St. John's talent, but I happy that they went with Corey Cruise for Brain Damaged. Even though it sucks that Rick Hunter didn't want to do the whole game I think Corey Cruise did a great job

As a big fan of Postal and Postal 2 this was...meh. Postal was awesome on showing the insanity on and individual and the second game was a satire of that game for the media. This they tried too hard on doing stupid satire using the first game character whose mind is more destroyed than this game shows. I love RWS but for me Postal 4 is just like a Postal 3 but actually made by RWS.

Ngl Postal 4 just isnt as good as Postal 2. Between the art style and the jank after full release its like damn, at least its better than that one game.
There's still room for improvment, and i think RWS does want to release a good game so we just have to wait for updates and fixes
