Sweet Honey Concerts have been my church. These amazing women have been my "balm in Gilead". I too have followed them for decades and am so very grateful to have discovered them in the mid 80's. I just saw them again this past year and they are as magical as ever. Although I miss this particular line-up and the magical contributions of Bernice, Ysaye, Aisha, Evie, Nitanju and Shirley their passion, power, beauty, depth, rhythm and majesty live on to all of the incredible women who have been members of this remarkable ensemble. How lucky I have been to experience their splendor. Sweet Honey is spirit moving... With love, gratitude, admiration and respect.
Sweet Honey’s music has fed my spirit. Their shows are transformational, spiritual events. I am forever grateful for the profound impact they have had in my life. Thank you for shining your light so brightly for the rest of us. Thank you for your wisdom, passion, soul, inspiration, life lessons , depth and beauty. Your music guides, transforms, inspires, informs, shapes, teaches, warms, comforts, ignites and empowers. I will be forever grateful for having heard the Sweet Honey cassette tape in 1987. After my first concert at Carnegie Hall in 1988, I knew I’d be a life-long groupie. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As vital and respected now as in 1973. Love and honor to Bernice, Ysaye, Evelyn and all who have maintained this tradition of women strength for decades. Comfort, joy, love and politics!!!!!!I am a better person from having known you directly and indirectly.
Dr. Reagon is pure genius. But the thing that is most remarkable about her is that in spite of her strength and presence, there is a gentleness that runs throughout her spirit that is so humbling.
Thank you So much SiStar Bernice, for your life experiences ( though some were not pleasant) you created such insightful songs for our. “Overstanding” of the “ times.” May your Spirit continue to soar. Kamili Nilata
My Best Friend had Me cone to one at {Their Concerts at Symphony Hall in Boston, Massachusetts many years ago and I will never forget or have forgotten The. That Harmony and how it Touch Me and Everyone there They were and will always be awesome in My Book .
Their albums were never available locally in my area of Virginia. Therefore, I had to order them directly from Flying Fish Records in Chicago. I was disappointed that Flying Fish Records did not do 45s. This album was sold out and I had to get the cassette instead.

I feel it. Nice to see it from way back in 1987. First saw it live in 1963. Inspired me to be partner with the Black community. Minor question: The colorful outfits with multi colors in the same stretch of fabric, is this a tie dye of some technique I do not understand?
This is one group that has never gotten the recognition they deserve.
Just found out about them through Pete Seeger, literally decades of love for black gospel music couldn't do that for me )
Absolutely! They deserve more than recognition. They've always been pure vocally. I'll pay anything to see them again and again!!😊😊

Yes‼️ I whole-heartedly agree with you!
Yes there is a magnificence about Dr. Reagon that shines as does her humility and beauty and talent.
I saw them, when they came to London. Saw them in Deptford, my first proper job, 23yr. Wonderful evening.
They feed me at a soul level. Have seen live several times. Memorable experience.
