You are very gentle and the dogs cooperate…win-win
I was a groomer for over a decade before having me first human baby. I am literally a pro at the grooming part. One of the reasons I fell in love with French bulldogs ,other than their personality, was grooming. I did it all day every day so having a fairly easy to groom dog was very appealing. We just got a puppy 2 days ago and I've already did his nails ,cleaned his ears, and all the very basic grooming. I was giving him a few days to build a bond and all before I fully bathe him. One of my favorite tools for frenchies and other short hair dogs is a Zoom Groom. It's made by Kong and helps pull all the dead hair off of them . So you can get the hair that will be falling out off before it ends up all over your home. In case everyone is wondering a Furminator is great for double coated dogs.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll check it out
Great video
Not all frienchies have a double coat, unfortunately. But thanks for the heads up 🙂
The gentle way you groom your sweet doggos is a lovely thing to watch Thanks for being such a great pet owner 💜
Happy dogs happy life!
@@BellaOliFrenchie you said it my friend you take such loving ❤ care of them
First time I see this color Qtips. He's a very dedicated owner💖💖
At first, i was into pugs, but then, i saw a bunch of french vids and i fell in love with them.
Pugs are adorable too, my friend has one, fur is so soft. But I think frenchies bark less
same it was into pugs then started liking Boston terriers, then English bulldogs, and now I have a french I guess I just love bully breeds.
Such an amazing dog dad!! They are very well behaved too! Cuties :)
Good Doggies! They are both beautiful... 🥰... So we'll behaved, and they look so healthy... Great work! 👍😀
What an excellent video this is!!
Your dogs are BEAUTIFUL!!...AND, they love, respect, and listen to every word you say, and do what you tell them to!! You and your wife take such good care of them. It makes my heart glad to see them have such a good and perfect life. You are so very kind with them!!
I have learned many good ways to care for this breed of dog by watching this. Thank you for this video, it made my day seeing your wonderful well cared for dogs!!!
Thank you! Yes they are the dearest :)
I could see you truly love those two dogs and they are so well behaved it's great I wanted to purchase that breed I'm a senior citizen I'm retired and after watching you groom your dogs I think I can handle doing that that would not be a problem for me.
Lucky dogs. I want that dark one!
Very imformative! we are getting our frenchie soon and this is a great tutorial on how we should groom her!
Glad it helps!
Thank you so much you had answered all my questions with the grooming of French bulldogs.
I didn’t know it was that simple and it don’t have to be so stressful to do Especially when you said your schedule of grooming at the end of video. Very much helpful so thank you once again 😊
They are so used to this it doesn’t even faze the pups. I loved this video. Thanks 😊
Thank you! Oli actually dislikes showering, and Bella dislikes trimming nails 😆
I love your dogs and how you care for them. I've besn seriously thinking about getting a Frenchie. So im reading as much as i can about them. Thank you for showing me how to groom them.
What a GREAT video!! Awesome job your frenchies very clearly LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!❤️❤️❤️🌺🌺❤️❤️❤️
May I make an observation, when using water please consider taking great care to not get any amount of water inside their ears. When using water near the faces, make sure to block any water from going inside the ears. If you haven’t had any ear infections or issues yet, please consider yourself and your pups lucky!! Think about it 😁 maybe you will see the risk isn’t worth the trouble of just keeping water out of ears❤️❤️❤️
Again Awesome Video!! Lovely Frenchies that love their owner!! Well done!!
Don’t forget to dry those paws really well in between those toes!! Too cute!!
Wind blowing Into ears is a bit painful too 🙏❤️❤️❤️
So adorable how they just look at you file their nails!! They are so trusting of you because your so gentle and clearly love them so much. They trust and love you beyond words. And it’s just so sweet. This is how all men should be with their Frenchies!! Well done 🙏🌺❤️❤️🌺🙏
Thank you for your advice! I have read some other viewers’ advice on this too, and nowadays I wet their heads by rubbing water with my hands instead of spraying on them =D
@@BellaOliFrenchie awe such good doggy owner you are!!❤️🙏❤️ You really show such love and compassion for them and how happy they are and how they love you so deeply is very obvious to everyone who watches your videos. Well done!!🌼🌼🌺💜🧡❤️🙏🌻🙏❤️🧡💜🌺🌼
Awesome routine. I have frenchies myself. You should try to avoid getting their head soaking wet tho. Just neck and below to avoid water in ears since frenchies have big open ears. You can use a cloth with warm water and wipe down head and face rather then soak it with water and soap.
Thanks for the tip! Been doing it since someone suggested :)
What a lovely video! The dogs are so cute and well behaved. And loved!!
Beautiful doggies 🥰 very well trained
You’re such a wonderful pup dad! Puppies are soooooo cute 💙💖
Thank you ❤️
You’re such a good dog dad 😩
Well loved and well cared for doggos. You're a dedicated doggo dad. Your love for them shows. Keep up the good work and enjoy those sweet sweet babies. 🐕🐕
Thank you 🥰
Try to avoid water going into the face + nose of frenchies!
Thank you for the advice :) Will take more care for their heads
Yes I agree 👍
Great job you should look into having your frenchies pallet shaved it helps them breath sooo much better mine had trouble breathing like yours is now mine is fine so worth it.
OMG, I LOVE Bella's snorts!❤️
Haha yea whenever she snorts it feels like she has got something to say to me 😂
I didn't knew there was shampoo for white coats! Thank you so much, I have two Frenchies the same color as yours so this video it's perfect for me 💚
Glad it helps! Yes gotta make them “fake whiter” lol
Thank you for the video. We got our Frenchie, Louis in January. I will share this video with our daughter, who gives him his bath.
Thank you for watching!
i loved watching thisand love your dogs i have 2 Frenchie's to beautiful dogs
Thank you for watching! Yes having 2 is such a joy!
Very Nice Video!! Beautiful Frenchies! Easy to see how loved they are and all the work you have put into there grooming training...such well behaved babies 💞
Awww!!! They're so good, and it's so obvious how much you love them!!! Great video, thank you!!
Thank you!
Loved this! My frenchie sadly hates grooming so its a struggle everytime
I groom them once a week so I think after a while they get used to it!
Omg the cute noises 😍
Haha yes snorting like little piggies!
They are so beautiful. ❤
Your a great furdad & very informative. I'm seriously considering buying one in the next few days
Frenchies are so quirky and mild tempered, great dog to have around at home!
Very good overview, and yes, you should do this every week! Also their pelt looks really good!
hi im a new dog owner and i wanted to wash my dog weekly but i kept reading it was bad for them because theyll lose their oil? and to only do it once a month? So is weekly ok for a frenchie then? i hope so because id like to do that instead
@@Themethod420 I have the same question and no one ever answers it lol
I was going to ask the same question I have a frenchie too but I only bath him 1 a month .great video though
You take very good care of your frenchies. Good for you man!
They're so well behaved! 😃
They are very clean! I recommend you don't use the same cotton for both eyes. If one eye has conjunctivitis or pinkeye it can pass to the other.
Ah I see, thanks for the suggestion!
When u give ur dogs a bath be sure to put..some cotton balls inside their ears..and after your done cleaning their ears give the fur babies treats to eat..they are Frenchies..they need lot's of TLC.. cute video..
I love there collars so cute 🥰 where did you get them
Greetings from California. Beautiful frenchies. Thanks for the tips I will use your advice ( it was very helpful) when grooming our frenchie puppy. Gotta dry under the tail 😄
I absolutely adored this video and I am going to look at all the content on your channel. It was very informative, fun and kept me watching :)
Dogs and Guy are both so cute !
Thank you for your kind words!
@@BellaOliFrenchie you're welcome. No more videos my friend?
Just uploaded one!
What a great video, you So cute with The french Bulldogs❤️
Why is my comment vlagged
Very nice. Your babies are really well behaved. Good job👍
Haha they thank you for your compliment!
❤thank you much love ❤
Very nice process. I will do they same with my YODA. A blue frenchie. Thanks 🙏
Glad it helps!
So cute! I’m getting my first in a month.
You’ll love him to bits!
hey! how’s your puppy!
Love your frenchies
Thank you! They love you too :)
Even I clean my frenchies ears with cutips. It's more easier than cleaning with the cotton balls and cutips helps in cleaning most of the gunk in their ears.
Yes feels good to scoop chuncks of black gunk out with the qtips. I think it’s ok if your dogs are calm and doesn’t move a lot when we are doing it
They are puppy purring grunting cute
Haha I love your description!
beautiful bella and oli,
YES! Very good video. Good job.
Thank you! Hope it helps!
this was awesome and very useful, thanks for sharing homie.
Glad it helps!
Oh, and I am going to get one of those combs today!
The comb is so useful in getting fur out during their shedding season!
They Are so cute . . they are like I'm not sure about the nail trimming. But they do good of holding still
Your frenchies are beautiful
Thank you!
These little angels or so adorable
Thank you! Piggy angels 😇
How often do your brush their teeth. What kind of toothpaste. Do you use mouthwash? Woud have liked to see that
You do a very good job!
EXCELLENT VIDEO...THANKYOU!
Thank you! Very informative, im getting my frenchie in 2 weeks 😁.
I will soon have a Bella, love your videos
Thank you! It’s going to be so much fun
You should use white colored cotton buds instead so any gunk from their ears is easily detectable ! I prefer to use the ear cleaner from the vet which is coconut milk based because it can do deep cleansing and remove the funk more effectively ..
Hello I need this p
Pup to ship to Jamaica
Thank you for sharing 💛 Great video! I love the pink and blue towels 💕 for them, how adorable!
I am thinking hard on getting a female in the next year or so. I have a 2 year old male right now. He's my first. I have been wanting a frenchie since 2007. I saw one being rescued from a flood made island in a town area. I watched the story on the news and learned at the end what breed. I fell in love at first sight hahahaha 😍 I never knew of the breed before lol, which is saying a lot. Yours are adorable 🥰 My first time seeing a video from you. I subscribed 👍
Thank you for subscribing! Yes they are adorable, foolish-looking but pretty smart 😆 2 is a little difficult to handle at first, took a while for them to mingle, then afterwards they start playing together it is so adorable
@@BellaOliFrenchie you are welcome for the subscription!
I agree very silly looking, but very perceptive! They're very loving and entertain on purpose 😄
You stated what I imagine, that it would be hard at first to manage them both, and the wonders of watching them play together. I will have to think long and long on it, as I also have a German shepherd female. Thank you for your view point!
Many blessings to you and yours 💜
I look forward to more of your videos:)
They're adorable! I'd take a regular nail file to smooth their nails after you're done grinding them, as grinding leaves a lot of rough spots on the nail that could catch on things. That's no good (especially if they aren't in sand much that will naturally grind those snaggy bits off). Nice spending some time with Frenchies.
Question--why not brush them before washing? Loosens all the dirt and hair, then shampoo and finish with the soft/shine brush. Just a suggestion 🙃
Not too sure about brushing before washing, much like combing our hair before bathing. But if it loosens the dirt for an easier wash then I might try it!
Hello beautiful French bulldog🤗
Question: why not comb the dog’s hair before the shower?
No cleaning or any damage to the area around the eyes can cause cherry eye.
Great video! 😄
Thank you! ☺️
They're adorable. They look very clean after their bath but it is a lot of work to groom both dogs.
Haha thank you! Yes it is, but take it as spending time with them and it’ll be more enjoyable :)
Good looking pair
The owner looks like a cool frenchie :)
Where did you get them collars from?
Why is your frenchie so chill. lmao
Lol I thought most frenchies are pretty chill
@@BellaOliFrenchie i got my frenchie when he was 2 month old and now he’s 7 months and he is so energetic and playful. keeps running around the house and biting everything he sees lol. 🤣
Great video! Thank you for sharing!! Your pups are adorable 😍 How often do you feed your Frenchies and what portions?
Thank you so much! They eat twice a day, morning and evening/ night (depending on what time we come home from work). Right now they are having a mix of kibbles and raw beef: 90gram kibbles and about 6 small slices of raw beef each meal
I wish my Frenchie was that easy to bath LOL.
How do the Franchise do with the heat in Singapore?sed to live there in Clements Park and plan to move back from the US and have a Frenchie.
Do they go outside for walks frequently?
supercute frenchies 🐶🐶
Thank you!
this helps so much! thank you!
They are all nice babies💕 My baby never let me do her nail and use hairdryer.
They don’t like the nails that much, but they love the hair dryer. Will run to the hairdryer and sit in front of the wind
Bella Oli Frenchie How adorable😆
Where can I find the custom dog collars?
It’s best to use coconut oil to clean by eyes. It’s anti fungal and antibacterial. Coconut oil doesn’t burn in eyes either.
Icic, thanks for the suggestion!
Where did you purchase your babies collars?
Hi! What are the bumps at the whiskers on your brindle? Mines is a puppy and started developing them. Are they normal?
Why do you put soap in their eyes?
How many times do you shower them? I read online that you should shower frenchies 5x a year due to their coat 😐 not sure if that applies to just rinsing them with water and no shampoo
How often should you bathe a Frenchie? Just curious I’m thinking about getting one
Hi, I have a 8.5 year old French Bulldog female that looks exactly like Oliver! She is mostly white cream spots, ears, and a diamond between her two ears. I wonder if they could be related? I've never seen another Frenchie with a similar coat before!
Haha! I’m not sure if they are related, because I think Oli’s dad, who is Daniel, is also not 8.5 years old yet
What nail grinder are you using. Wish it was in description.
My little pup doesn't let me touch his nails. Try to clip when he is sleeping...very seldom works
It is normal that they are afraid of the mail clipper/grinder. What I did was to let them smell, play with the grinder first, then turn it on and let them get used to the sound. Only after 10-15 minutes I tried a little bit of nail, then stop and give treats.
Once they realise it is not so bad, they get used to it after a few times. A 5-10 sec touch and go on the nail every week will do, no need to grind too close till bleed
Aww so cute 🥰
Hi from Dallas Tx. So you don’t need to put cotton in their ears while bathing? How often do you brush their teeth? Video on that process? What else do you do to care for them? Nose gets dry etc.
I don’t put the cotton in their ears, maybe I should. They’ll usually shake the water out
Thanks for the suggestions! Yes will definitely do a brushing teeth video, some go into details for some of the other grooming process which people struggle with (eg nails)
Where u get the brush from thou?
When he said a generous amount I thought he meant 2 or 3 pumps then he was like do 5 to 8 pumps like that’s a lot of soap do u rlly need that much???
Your video is very helpful and well detailed. Thank you... Is the toenail grinder better for Frenchies, or is that just your preferred method??
Glad it helps! I use the grinder because they seem to prefer it. They are very afraid of the toe nail cutter
Thanks a lot for sharing! I’ll be getting my frenchies so this is very helpful.
So excited for you!
How do you get their noses so shiny? I don’t see any dryness that occurs with my Frenchie’s nose. I really enjoyed your video tutorial, thank you Oli & Bella for being daddy’s good models.
Oh and where did you purchase those microfiber towels? From what I’ve been told is that they absorb water very well. Those would be very good for my dogs bath time.
Thank you for watching! I do not do anything to their noses actually. They do not have dry noses, so I’m hoping it stays that way.
I can’t remember where I got those microfiber towels, I think their mummy bought them from a store in a shopping mall. But I assume they would not be hard to find
Good Job
Thank you! ❣️
